Switching device for an electrical power consumer depending on the level of the level of a liquid. The invention relates to a switching device for an electrical power consumer as a function of the level of the level of a liquid which closes a control circuit via immersion electrodes.
The device according to the invention is characterized in that the power consumption can be switched via a control device operated by the control circuit.
In the drawing, execution examples of the subject matter of the invention are shown; It shows - Fig. 1 a schematic representation of a barrel with an immersion electrode device, FIG. 2 a schematic representation of the associated motor pump with switching device and connections, FIG. 3 a schematic representation of a independent switching unit, Fig. 4 the section through the end of a dip electrode rod,
FIG. 5 shows an identical section of the rod tip with a differently positioned center electrode, FIG. 1 a similar section through a differently designed rod shape, FIG. 7 / B > in the same way of illustration a modification to this, FIG. 8 a diagrammatic representation of an electrode rod with a round cross-section and FIG. 9 a section of a protective cap, as it is appropriate for such electrode rods is to be used.
FIGS. 1 and 2 show a device in which the switching device and pump are assembled to form a unit. The suction hose 2 and the through hose 3 for the liquid are connected to the motor pump 1 . The latter carries the hose web 4 at its other end. The remote switch 6 for the motor pump is clamped onto this hose tap 4 with the aid of a clamp 5 . It has the switch-on push button 7 and the switch-off push button 8 .
The switching line is labeled 9 . On the barrel 10 with its filling hole 11 is a rubber mat 12 in the example shown, which has a central through hole 13 that essentially coincides with the single hole 11 of the barrel 10 .
A flexible rubber finger 14 is molded onto the mentioned G-Lunmimatte 12 in such a way that it is directed essentially perpendicular to the mat and through the hole 11 into the barrel 10 </ B> protrudes. In addition, the mouthpiece of the tap 4 protrudes through the opening 13 of the mat 12 and the hole 11 of the barrel 10 in the position shown Reach in deeper than your finger 14.
The contact sensor pair 16 is embedded in the Tinger-like extension 14 of the mat 12, the tips of which protruding from the end of the finger can be seen at 17 . The supply lines 18 of the contact sensor pair are embedded insulated in the mat 12 and are continued in the rubber cable 19 connected to the mat. At its end, a plug 20 of a StWkkontaktes is seen and inserted into the steeli: buehse (not shown) built into the motor switch 6.
The lines 18 are connected to the switching circuit of the motor 1 in such a way that when bridged, the contact peaks 17 due to the rising liquid level in the circuit in the sense of pressing the switch-off button 8 closed, the motor 1 is thus stopped.
The transformer provided for supplying the switching circuit with low voltage and the contactor supplied with low voltage to be provided for switching the motor are housed with motor 1 in a common housing and are not shown in detail in the drawing .
The described sensing contact 14, 17 can also be used to electrically close a tap or filler tap or set an acoustic or optical signal system in motion. So it is e.g.
B. when filling liquid from> a higher-lying vessel into a lower-lying purpose, switch off the motor pump when the desired filling level is reached, because the liquid then continues to run under the siphon effect. In addition to the automatic shutdown of the pump from the sensor contact, noelli must also automatically close the filler halyard.
The #ii: application example described for the case of the Külerei does not limit the invention to this area alone. It can be used in trade and industry wherever electrically conductive liquids have to be refilled.
FIG. 3 shows the details of an independent switching unit containing the switching device in a box 204. A mains plugclose 201 is connected to a plug 202, the mains cable 203, a device plug 205 and a device socket. 206 the actual holding device is connected to the network. In the example shown, two sockets 207 can be seen on the apparatus box 204.
The plug 208 of the connection cable 209 of a motor pump 210 is plugged into one of these two, which in turn with a device socket 211 in the device plug 212 of the motor pump 210 ends. This motor pump conveys the liquid sucked in through the suction hose 213 through the pressure switch 214 to a container (not shown).
A pair of immersed electrodes (also not shown) is immersed in this container so far that the electrode tips are at the level of the liquid level that the filled liquid reaches in the desired filling state. This pair of electrodes, not shown, is connected to the end of the control or sensor cable 215 .
This is located on a winding drum 216 on the underframe 217 of the switching device and is connected to the im at the other end via a detachable plug connection 218 Devices located in the device, which on the one hand generate the low voltage required for the control circuit from the mains voltage and on the other hand interrupt the high-voltage supply from the mains cable 203 via the cable 209 <when this control circuit is closed / B> to pump 210.
In the example shown, the subframe of the switching unit consists of a uniaxial little bird with wheels 219 which can move on a handle 220 or a drawbar - ##, ground. A changeover switch 221 can also be seen on the box 204, with which the passage of the high-voltage current from the mains cable 203 to the connecting cable 209 is effected when a control circuit is open, and also when using switchable motors axis must be formed,
that depending one or the other direction of rotation of the motor is switched on according to the selected switching direction. In the circuit of the pump 210, a glow lamp recognizable at 222 is switched on, which shows that the motor is energized by means of the switch 221. Another lamp can also be provided to indicate that the switching device is connected to the mains.
At 223 a bell is indicated which is in the control circuit of the switching device and is designed in such a way that it rings when the control circuit is closed, i.e. when the pump circuit is interrupted and the control unit is switched on. Another socket is designated by 224, which is fed by the extra-low voltage generator of the apparatus 204. This socket 224 has an abnormal shape so none. Plugs can be inserted into the socket 224, which are customary or suitable for power supply or removal.
4 to 9 show embodiments of the electrode pair.
In the examples according to FIGS. 4 and 5, one electrode 401 consists of a small metal tube in which the other electrode 402 is centrally embedded as a central corner electrode with the aid of an insulating tube 403. The insulating tube extends to the front end of the tube 401, while the center electrode 402 with a button-like thickening 421 lies somewhat in front of the front face of the tube 403. But you can also cut off smoothly with the end face of the rod so that adhering moisture dries faster.
In the example according to FIG. 4, the button 421 is centric so that the distance from it to the front edge of the tube 401 is the same in all directions.
Since the various liquids to be conveyed have different conductivity, it can happen that the distance to the outer electrode 401 when the button 421 is arranged centrically is too great to allow the current to flow between the two electrodes with the low voltage present.
In order to have the correct electrode spacing available for the different conductivities of the liquids in question, the button 421 is arranged eccentrically according to FIG. 5, so that there are different radial directions Result in electrode spacing.
In Fig. 6, the tubular outer electrode is: -trode with 404, the insulation tube with 405 -uui (1 denotes the wire-shaped central electrode with 406. The button-like reinforced end 461 of the central electrode is fixed in a spherical metal cap 407 embedded with the diameter of the outer electrode, which is separated from the front end of this outer electrode by an insulating washer 408 laid down.
In this case, the electrode spacing is determined by the thickness of the insulating disk 408. If the cap 407 is detachably connected to the center electrode, the electrode can be converted to different electrode spacings by exchanging the disk 408 and choosing a suitable thickness. In the case of the sensor according to FIG. 7, which largely corresponds in terms of structure and reference numbers to the example according to FIG. 6, the transverse disk 408 is not provided with parallel delimiting surfaces; Rather, their boundary surfaces run at an acute angle to one another.
Finally, FIG. 8 illustrates an example of another method of creating different electrode spacings on immersion electrode rods. Here, two rod halves 409, which are mirror-image identical and symmetrically arranged with respect to one another, are provided as a pair of electrodes. an intermediate insulating layer 410 is separated.
While the intermediate insulating layer in the upper part of the rod is designed as a strip of the same thickness with parallel boundary surfaces, the thickness of this strip finally increases more and more towards the tip.
The rod halves 409 decrease in thickness accordingly, so that while maintaining the cylindrical shape of the rod, the electrode spacing at the tip of the probe is at the most extreme. It increases the more the liquid level rises on the immersed electrode , from.
In the case of these rod-shaped electrodes, it has sometimes been shown in practical use that when the liquid to be filled runs down the electrode rod, the electrode circuit is closed before the liquid level rises. Reached electrode tips. To remedy this deficiency is the one in Pig. A the recognizable cummi cap pushed over the tip of the metal electrode rod.
Access of the liquid flowing down from above to the electrode tip is no longer possible. The rubber cap 411 holds itself on the outer electrode 412; but it can also be made in one piece with the insulation of the control cable to be connected to the electrodes.
So that the rising liquid level can reach the electrode tip with the protruding central electrode 413 despite the cap 411 and is not held off by the air cushion enclosed in the cap 411, ventilation holes 414 -ior are also seen in the cap 411, which are inclined from the inside to the outside inclined downwards. In this position, no liquid coming from above can unintentionally penetrate the interior of the cap.
