Remote control receiver. The invention relates to a remote control receiver for receiving control pulses of an alternating current of audio frequency superimposed on the energy distribution network, in which receiver the actuation of the switch to be remotely controlled takes place by means of the axial displacement of a control shaft.
This remote control receiver is characterized by the fact that a synchronization device is provided, which responds at the beginning of a start pulse and uncouples the drive of the control shaft from this as soon as the latter has reached a predetermined synchronization position, and that a group dial is also provided, which at the beginning of the start impulse begins to rotate.
and rotates an adjustable group lever attached to it in such a position that a contact preventing the reception of further control pulses in one position is prevented from passing into this position at the end of the start pulse if the remote control receiver is assigned to the recipient group to be controlled .
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically. 1 shows a remote control receiver equipped with a synchronization and a group selection device, FIGS. 2 and 3 each have a side elevation, seen from the left, of the group selection device shown in FIG. In Fig. 1, a, b mean the two Lei ter of an energy transmission network,
between which a receiving circuit tuned to the frequency of an audio-frequency signal is connected. The latter is designed as a Serieresorianzkreis and consists of a capaci tor 1 and an inductance 2. Between the conductor b and a tap of the latter, a relay 4 with a normally open contact 5 is connected via a rectifier 3. If an audio-frequency signal is superimposed on the distribution network a, b, the relay 4 is energized.
and closes its contact 5 during the signal duration. Via the contact 5 a connected to the network a, b magnet ss is excited, which by means of its armature 7 a control shaft 8 moves in the direction of its axis to the left. This results in the closure of a motor contact 9, which is in the idle state by an arranged on the control shaft 8. Switching arm 10 is held open. This gives a synchronous motor 11 voltage and rotates the control shaft 8 via two gear mechanisms 12, 13 and a clutch 14 connected between them. If the clutch 14 remains switched on and the magnet 6 is de-energized in time, the control shaft 8 is driven during one revolution.
At the end of this revolution, the switching arm 10 then breaks the Motorkon clock 9, whereby the synchronous motor 11 is separated from the network a, b and stops.
The remote control of a circuit breaker 15 housed in the receiver takes place by means of a switch arm 16 which is adjustable on the control shaft 8 is stored, arranged. Corresponding to the pin 17 are provided on the cylindrical circumference of the command setting disk 18 digits 19, one of which is assigned to a control command.
The switching arm 16 now cooperates with a two-part star switch 20 which is fixedly arranged on an axis 21, which carries at its front end a switching cam 22 actuating the power switch 15 in a known manner. The rotation of the star switch 20 can, as can be easily seen, only take place when the magnet 6 is excited when the free end of the switch arm 16 is just moving past one of the arms of the star switch 20. When the parallel shift to the left then occurs, the end of the arm strikes the arm of the star switch located in its path of movement and rotates the latter by one step.
As can be seen from Fig. 1, the switching arm 16 must cooperate with an arm of the front switching star part if the circuit breaker 15 is to be closed, and with one of the rear switching star part if the circuit breaker is to be opened. If the remote control pulse arrives at such a point in time at which the switching arm 16 is not in the loading area of the star switch 20, the control command in question is apparently not intended for the recipient under consideration and cannot be received by him.
The recipient described is now with. a synchronizing device and provided with a group selection device.
The purpose of the synchronization is that all receivers begin to rotate from a certain starting position when a command is transmitted. For this purpose, a synchronizing arm 23 is arranged on the control shaft 8, which is rotated by the control shaft 8 and pivots a pawl 27 which is rotatable about an axis 24 and locked under the action of a spring 25, whereby the Synchronizing lever 26 is released and rotates clockwise around axis 24,
wherein he decouples the clutch 14. This has the consequence that the control shaft 8 stands still for a moment, since it is no longer driven by the synchronous motor 11. This state, that is to say the starting position now assumed by the control shaft 8, is retained for the entire duration of the first control pulse, which can conveniently be referred to as the start or synchronization pulse. As soon as this pulse stops, the magnet 6 drops out and the control shaft 8 is pulled back to the right into the starting position by the armature 7 of the magnet 6, which is under the action of a spring 28.
This moving ring is now transmitted by a stop 29 attached to the control shaft 8 on the synchronization lever 26, which is locked again by the pawl 27 and which couples the clutch 14 again. As a result, the control shaft 8 is kup pelt again with the synchronous motor 11 and ends the rotation, as already described above. Through the described.
Synehronisiereinriehtung is therefore it enough. That the control shafts of the receiver are rotated at the beginning of the start impulse in a certain starting position, in which they remain until the end of the start impulse, in order to then begin together with the command transmission serving rotation.
The purpose of group selection is to increase the number of possible control commands. In FIG. 1, this device is shown at the top left in order to clearly show the assembly with the other parts of the receiver. The group selection device is rotatably mounted on a shaft 30 supporting the drive part of the clutch 14 pinion 31 via the gear mechanism 12 and said part. the clutch 14 is driven if the motor 11 is switched on.
The description of the group selection device is based on FIGS. 1 to 3. A gear wheel 32 meshing with the pinion 31 is rotatably mounted on the control shaft 8, on which a group selection disc provided on its left side with a ring of pins 33 is provided 34 is attached. On the latter, with the assistance of the pin 33, a group selector lever 35, which is provided with an angled part 36 at its free end, is adjustable. The selected group can be read from the numbers on the cylindrical surface.
Fixed on the control shaft 8 sits to the left of the group dial 34, a cam arm 37, in whose path of movement a on a pivoting about an axis 38 switch lever 39 arranged pin 40 protrudes. If the cam arm 37 hits the pin 40, the switch lever 39 is counterclockwise, counterclockwise, against the action of a spring 41. 2, 3) pivoted, whereby the United extension of a contact spring 42 falls from a stop 43 provided on the shift lever 39.
The contact spring 42 is provided at its free end with a downwardly angled extension 44, which may come to rest on the angled end 36 of the group selector lever 35 to rest. A second contact spring 45 works together with the contact spring 42. By means of this contact device, if the receiver in question does not belong to the controlled groups of receivers, the inductance 2 of the receiving resonance relay 1, 2 is temporarily short-circuited, so that no further control pulses. more can be received.
Instead of bridging the inductance 2, the circuit of the magnet 6 could also be temporarily interrupted in that the contact device 42, 45 is switched in series into the circuit of this magnet as a working contact. The receiver is not put into operation until the end of the revolution of the control shaft 8 or the cam arm 37 in that it swings in under the angled extension 44 of the contact spring 42 and thereby lifts the contact spring 42, whereby the contact 42, 45 is interrupted.
After the group selection, the group dial 34 continues to rotate until a tooth gap 46 provided in the teeth of the toothed wheel 32 comes to rest against the gear wheel 31. The group selection disc 34 remains in this position until, towards the end of the command transmission, the cam arm 37 strikes a stop pin 47 provided in the group selection disc 34 and the group selection disc 34 continues to drive the gear wheel 32 with the pinion 31 combed again.
So is. then the group selection facility is ready again for the next command transmission.
The group selection dial 34 can also be provided with several group selection levers 35. This ensures that the receiver not only respond to a start pulse of a certain duration, but also to start pulses of different duration. This comes into question, for example, if all receivers in a remote control system are to respond to the same alarm command at the same time.
The operation of the described device is as follows: If a start pulse is superimposed on the distribution network, the magnet 6 is excited in all receivers, the control shaft 8 is axially displaced, the synchronous motor 11 is put into operation, the control shaft 8 is brought into the synchronizing position , and stopped and the group dial 34 further ben driven. The start impulse now lasts for different lengths of time, depending on the group of remote control receivers to be selected. During the start impulse, the group selector disk 34 with the group selector lever 35 set on it is constantly rotated.
If the receiver under consideration belongs to the group that is to be controlled, the start pulse lasts just as long until the group selector lever 35 has reached the angled extension 44 of the contact spring 42. If this contact spring is released at the end of the start pulse by the cam arm 37, it only falls until it hits the angled part 36 of the group selector lever 35, that is, the contact 42, 45 is not closed, the receiving circuit 1, 2 remains ready to receive.
Since the switching lever 39 falls back in time and the con tact spring 42 is locked again in its open position before its angled extension 44 has fallen from the group selector lever 3 5, the result is that the recipient considered during the now following rotation of the control shaft 8 remains ready to receive.
All receivers not belonging to the controlled receiver group can no longer be controlled during the initiated rotation of the control shaft because the contact 42, 45 is closed with these receivers and the receiving circuit 1, 2 is rendered ineffective.
Caused in the ready-to-receive Emp catchers of the group under consideration. an axial displacement of the control shaft B takes place depending on the control command. in a receiver such a misalignment just when the switching arm 16 is opposite the switching star 24, the latter is rotated by one step and the circuit breaker 15 is operated accordingly. At the end of the rotation of the control shaft 8, the Motorkon is clock 9 by the switching arm 10 again interrupted. The group dial 34 had meanwhile already been stopped, since it had rotated so far that the gap 46 of the gear wheel 32 has come to lie opposite the gear wheel 31.
At the end of the rotation of the control shaft 8, the cam arm 37 now takes the group selection disk 34 with it via the stop pin 47 to such an extent that the gear 32 meshes with the gear 31 again. This means that the receiver is ready to receive another activation.
