Kraftstoffeinspritzventil.
Fuel injector. The invention relates to a fuel injection valve, especially for internal combustion engines, with a holder housing carrying the connection nipple for the supply line, into which a valve body, suitably made of hardened steel, is inserted from the injection side, with a movable valve member and a spring carries that endeavor. is to hold the movable valve member against the pressure acting on it on its sealing seat in the body.
In known injection valves of this type, the valve body has an externally threaded shaft which is screwed into the holder housing, which in turn is designed so that it can be attached to the machine e.g. B. can be tightly attached in the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. The sealing between the valve body and the holder housing is such that even when the injection valve is not installed, no liquid can escape through the screw connection.
Where the gap between the machine part and the injection valve is only sealed in a zone of the valve that is behind the sealing point of the screw connection between the holder housing and the valve body, the hot gases can coat this sealing point and cause unfavorable distortions. Combustion residues can also accumulate at the sealing point, making it very difficult to unscrew the actual valve from the holder housing when the valve is removed.
It has therefore been proposed to assign the seal between the machine part (cylinder head) and the injection valve before the sealing point between the holder housing and the valve body screwed into it. However, this arrangement has the disadvantage, especially in the case of valves whose holder housing can be screwed into the machine part, that when the valve is to be screwed on, the screw connection of the valve body loosens if it is on its injection-side seat is baked.
The aim of the invention is to avoid the stated disadvantages of the known injection valves and at the same time to make it easier to create and simplify operation. This is achieved in accordance with the invention in that the valve body has a shaft in which a snap ring is embedded which, when the shaft is pushed into the holder housing, engages in a ring groove of this housing when the body with the shoulder facing the housing engages connect its shaft ..
the collar touches an opposing shoulder of the housing, whereby the contact surfaces of the two shoulders are only pressed tightly against each other when the glass injection valve is installed in a machine part that has a sealing surface that interacts with the injection-side shoulder of the said collar of the valve body. Here, for the sake of simplified manufacture and easier installation and removal of the valve body, the fact that the valve is tight at the connection point between its holder housing and the valve body even when it is dismantled is made.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention in longitudinal section, FIG. 2 showing an enlarged section from FIG.
A longitudinally drilled nipple 1 serving as a holder housing has an external thread at one end for connecting the dashed line fuel line 2 and at the other end an external thread 3 for screwing into an engine cylinder 4.
A hardened steel body 5, the actual valve body, is inserted with its stem part 6 into the motor-side end of the longitudinal bore of the nipple 1 until a snap ring 8 embedded in a groove 7 in the stem part 6 engages in a correspondingly designed annular groove 9 which engages in the wall the longitudinal bore of the nipple is pierced in such a way that when the snap ring engages in the groove 9, the collar part 10 of the body 5 with its holder 11 on the adhesive side touches the face at the end of the nipple on the motor side.
In the valve body 5 itself there is a nozzle needle 12, the outer end of which is designed as a seat cone 13. At the inner end of its Sehaf ter, which protrudes far beyond the valve body into the longitudinal nipple bore, the needle carries a collar l4, against which a slotted plate 15 is supported. An externally offset sleeve 16 pushed over the needle shaft part protruding from the valve body lies with its thinner part within a visor spring 17 which applies the needle closing force and which is supported on the one hand on the nozzle body and on the other hand against a collar of the sleeve with pretension and against the sleeve the spring plate 15 presses.
When the needle is closed (position shown), a gap a, which corresponds to the greatest possible needle stroke, remains between the facing end surfaces of the sleeve and the valve body.
Nozzle body 5, needle 12, spring 17, sleeve 16 and fire plate 15 are a combined assembly and form the actual valve, which can be stuck into the nipple as a connected insert piece.
When the entire valve is screwed into the engine cylinder, the nozzle body - with a shoulder 18, sits tightly on a counter shoulder on the engine cylinder; In addition, the touching eyes on the nipple and the nozzle body tend to be pressed against each other.
