Uhr.
Fig. 1 zeigt die Vorderansicht der Wek- keruhr.
Clock. The invention relates to a clock with shining through, backlit Zif ferblatt, which is characterized in that it has a single cut in the shape of a circle having a time hand with a scale to display the time, which allows the exact reading of both the hours and smaller Time intervals enabled.
In the drawing, a clock is shown as an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the front view of the alarm clock.
Fig.2 shows schematically a longitudinal section of the clock without the watch case.
3 shows schematically the electrical part of the alarm clock, while FIGS. 4 and 5 show an accessory part for the alarm clock in a front view and in longitudinal section.
The alarm clock shown has a watch case 2 placed on a foot 1 with a dial 3 on the front with twelve characters 4 to mark the hours 1 to 12. There can also be 24 markings for the hours from 1 to 24.
The housing part carrying the dial 3 is made of plastic, the part lying within the circular ring 3 being transparent and with twelve radial, opaque hour marks 6 being provided.
Behind the dial there is a disc 5 and a rotating with the latter time display organ 7, which consists of translucent plastic and has the shape of a circle cutout whose direction in the direction of rotation, the front radial edge 8 serves as a pointer, and a opaque scale 9 carries for accurate time reading.
A button 11 mounted in front of the dial 3 is provided for adjusting the time display element 5, 7 by hand for the purpose of precise setting of the time, and another rotary button 10 mounted below the button 11 for setting the time of the triggering of the acoustic alarm signal. The button 10 is connected to a pointer 12 which is located between the dial 3 and the disk 5.
A contact ring 13 is let into the back of the dial 3 (FIGS. 2 and 3), with which a sliding contact 14 connected to the pointer 12 is in contact. On the pointer 12 there is a second grinding contact 15, which rests on the edge of the disc 5, on which two separate contact blades 16 and 17 are located. The two contact blades 16 and 17 are electrically conductively connected to a slip ring 18 attached to the rear side of the disc 5, which slides under a sliding contact 19 when the disc 5 rotates.
A synchronous motor 20 is used as the drive element for the clockwork, which can be switched on via a connecting cord with plug 21 to a socket connected to the lighting network. The synchronous motor 20 drives a shaft 23 via a clutch 22, which in turn has a further clutch consisting of a disk 24 festsit on the shaft 23 and a disk 5 supporting body 25 which is firmly connected to the Regu lierachse 2 7 that drives disk 5. The body 25 has a toothing 26.
The body 25 is drilled in the center of the engagement part to the axis diameter of 23 with a sliding fit. A compression spring 28 pushed onto the axis 27 presses the body 25 and thus the toothing 26 against the disk 24 in the engagement position according to FIG. 2. If, however, the button 11 is pulled away from the dial 3, the axis 27, < / B> connected to body 25, the clutch disengaged.
The disk 5 with the time display element 7 can now be rotated by hand in one or the other direction of rotation by turning the button 11.
To generate an acoustic signal, an electric alarm clock is provided, the coil 29 of which is connected via a line 30 to the sliding contact 19 and via a line 31 to one pole of the network. To illuminate the dial from behind, an incandescent lamp 32, expediently in the form of a tubular lamp, is provided, and two or more incandescent lamps can be used in its place.
Simultaneously with the dial can through the two left and right of the case, made of transparent material, preferably unbreakable glass, existing lenses 45, which are located above an opening of the case there (Fig. 1), a lighting device from the Inside the housing to the outside.
The clock can have a reading lamp, which consists of a light source located inside and an adjustable hinged cover located in the upper part of the housing. The latter is designed as a mirror reflector and throws the light from the inner light source by reflection at the desired point.
The electric clock has a rotary switch DS (FIG. 3), which forms from a switch body 33 (FIGS. 4 and 5) with three isolated contacts 34, 35, 36 and a rotary member 37 with a bridge 38 is which latter in its two positions always .connects two of the three existing contacts.
On the body 33 of the rotary switch, a bell-shaped, made of an elastic material such as rubber, formed suction cup 39 is attached, with the help of which the rotary switch on any object, bedside table, bed drawer, etc. can be fixed by pressing, but there is the possibility of the Change location as required without leaving any traces of the previous fortifications.
The rotary switch is connected to the watch by means of a three-core flexible connecting cord, with the contact 34 via a line 40 to the incandescent lamp 32, the contact 35 via a line 41 to one power pole and the contact 36 via a line 42 to the contact ring 13 is connected to the back of the dial 3. A line 44 connects the incandescent lamp 32 to one power pole.
By means of the rotary knob 10 of the pointer 12 and thus the sliding contact 15 is set to the time at which the switch-on device of the acoustic signal (wake-up time) ge is desired. The contact lamella 16 has a position on the disk 5 which corresponds to that of the line symbol 8, while the contact lamella 17 is somewhat distanced from the lamella 16, the whole in such a way that when the lamella 16 with the sliding contact 15 in Touch occurs and the rotary switch DS is in the switching position shown in Fig. 3,
The following circuit is closed for a few seconds: Mains, line 41, contact 35 of the rotary switch, bridge 38, contact 36, line 42, contact ring 13, sliding contact 14/15, contact lamella 16, contact ring 18, sliding contact 19, line 30 , Alarm clock coil 29, line 31, network.
After a short switch-on time, this circuit is interrupted due to the current interruption between the constantly moving contact 16 and the sliding contact 15, in order to be closed again for a shorter time after a short pause via the contact blade 17.
The acoustic signal can also be interrupted during the contact period between the sliding contact 15 and one of the contact lamellas 16 or 17 by turning the switch member of the rotary switch to the second switch position, in which position the following circuit is closed Mains, line 41, contact 35, Bridge 38, contact 34, line 40, light bulb 32, line 44, network.
In this switch position, the exact time can be read off without any additional light source, in that the straight line 8 shows the hour and the scale 9 enables the reading of smaller time intervals (for example 5 minutes) by dividing the number of scales between the line 8 and the visible, under the circular section 7 hour mark 6 corresponds to the number of such time intervals.
In the illustrated embodiment, the central angle of the circular segment 7 is equal to 30 and equal to the central angle of a circular segment on the disc between two adjacent hour markers 6, while the scale 9 is divided into so many graduation marks that a reading accuracy of five to five minutes is guaranteed. Individual minutes can still be estimated in each case.
The position of the time display element 7 in FIG. 1 thus corresponds to the time 02 hours 30 minutes or 14 hours 30 minutes. This reading accuracy of five to five minutes generally corresponds to the requirements placed on alarm clocks and many other timers are provided.
The dial could also have a 24-hour division and the time display element 7 could accordingly have a central angle of 15. In the case of a 12-hour dial and a central angle of 30 on the time display element, the scale could also have a graduation that results in greater reading accuracy.
In addition to the alarm clock and light switch positions, the rotary switch could also have a third switch position in which both the circuit via the alarm clock coil and that via the incandescent lamp is interrupted. On the rotary switch control lamps or means of luminous mass could be arranged to display the various switching positions, which also make it much easier to find the switch in the dark for the purpose of switching from one switch position to another.
The clock can also be designed as a wall clock or as a table or wall clock without a built-in alarm clock and without the built-in contact device, but with the lighting device and, if necessary, with the switch connected to the clock by the connecting cord for switching the light bulb on and off, to enable reading of the time even in the dark and without the incandescent lamp being switched on continuously.
In the embodiment described, two blades 16 and 17 are provided on the disk 5. Naturally, further such slats can be arranged so that the circuit is switched on more than twice with intervening interruptions via the alarm clock coil, unless the circuit is interrupted by operating the rotary switch.
