La présente invention a pour objet un appareil mélangeur électromécanique, destiné notamment à la préparation de couleurs pour peintres en bâtiment.
Le dessin pi-joint, donné à titre d'exem- ple, représente d'une manière schématique une forme d'exécution de l'appareil objet de l'invention.
La fig. I en est une vue en élévation ; la fig. 2 en est une vue latérale, partiellement en coupe suivant la ligne II-II de fig. 1 ; la fig. 3 en est une vue en plan et la fig. 4 une coupe selon la ligne IV-IV de fin. 1. montrant l'intérieur d'un. récipient.
L'appareil représenté comporte un réeipient cylindrique fermé par un couvercle 1 et, disposé au-dessus de celui-ci, un moteur électrique 6.
Le couvercle 1 est formé par un disque plat, de plus grand diamètre que le récipient, percé au centre pour le passage de l'axe 2 d'un agitateur et pourvu sur l'une de ses moitiés d'un entonnoir 3 à couvercle 4. Sur le couvercle 1 sont fixés deux supports 5 sur lesquels repose le moteur électrique portatif 6, ayant la forme générale d'une perceuse électrique avee une poignée 7, un bouton d'interrupteur f et un mandrin 9 dans lequel est fixé l'axe de l'agitateur. Le moteur est relié au circuit électrique au moyen d'un câble flexible 10.
Le couvercle 1. est fixé au récipient par vissage ; à cet effet, le bord supérieur du récipient est pourvu d'un filetage 2 coopé- rant avee une collerette filetée 13, solidaire du couvercle 1. La paroi 15 du récipient est ajourée par quatre ouvertures 16 et elle est entourée d'une enveloppe 17 en une matière perméable, par exemple un tamis métallique à mailles fines appliqué sur ladite paroi et retenu au bord supérieur 12 du récipient et vers le fond 14 de celui-ci par des colliers de serrage 11.
L'axe 2 du moteur électrique se prolonge dans l'intérieur du récipient, où il porte un agitateur à deux palettes 18 servant à mélanger la matière liquide renfermée dans le récipient.
L'appareil décrit fonctionne de la ma- nière suivante : le câble flexible est branché sur le circuit électrique. L'appareil est placé de manière que le bord de son couvercle 1 repose sur un bidon, non représenté, dans lequel on veut préparer la couleur voulue. On introduit par l'entonnoir 3 les différents in grédients constitutifs qu'il s'agit de mélan- ger et on met en marche le moteur, en pressant sur le bouton 8. La rotation de l'axe 2 se transmet aux palettes 18 et le mélange est projeté contre le tamis 17, en vertu de la force centrifuge et passe de là dans le bidon à couleur.
Le couvercle 1 pourrait également tre fixé au récipient au moyen d'un dispositif à baïonette ou analogue. De mme, le tamis . pourrait tre exécuté, selon les besoins, en matière textile.
Les avantages de l'appareil décrit sont évidents : il permet de préparer un mélange de qualité supérieure par rapport au mélange obtenu à la main. En outre, toutes les parties constitutives de 1'appareil sont facilement démontables, ce qui permet un entretien efficace et une longue durée d'utilisation de appareil.

The apparatus shown comprises a cylindrical container closed by a cover 1 and, arranged above the latter, an electric motor 6.
The cover 1 is formed by a flat disc, of larger diameter than the container, pierced in the center for the passage of the axis 2 of a stirrer and provided on one of its halves with a funnel 3 with cover 4 On the cover 1 are fixed two supports 5 on which the portable electric motor 6 rests, having the general shape of an electric drill with a handle 7, a switch button f and a mandrel 9 in which the axis is fixed. of the agitator. The motor is connected to the electrical circuit by means of a flexible cable 10.
The cover 1. is fixed to the container by screwing; for this purpose, the upper edge of the container is provided with a thread 2 cooperating with a threaded collar 13, integral with the cover 1. The wall 15 of the container is perforated by four openings 16 and it is surrounded by a casing 17 made of a permeable material, for example a fine-mesh metal screen applied to said wall and retained at the upper edge 12 of the container and towards the bottom 14 thereof by clamps 11.
The axis 2 of the electric motor extends into the interior of the container, where it carries a stirrer with two vanes 18 serving to mix the liquid material contained in the container.
The device described works as follows: the flexible cable is connected to the electrical circuit. The device is placed so that the edge of its cover 1 rests on a container, not shown, in which one wants to prepare the desired color. The various constituent ingredients to be mixed are introduced through funnel 3 and the motor is started by pressing button 8. The rotation of axis 2 is transmitted to the paddles 18 and the mixture is projected against the sieve 17 by virtue of the centrifugal force and from there passes into the color container.
The cover 1 could also be fixed to the container by means of a bayonet device or the like. Likewise, the sieve. could be made, as required, in textile material.
The advantages of the apparatus described are obvious: it makes it possible to prepare a mixture of superior quality compared to the mixture obtained by hand. Furthermore, all the constituent parts of the apparatus are easily removable, which allows efficient maintenance and a long period of use of the apparatus.
