Nozzle device for metal spray guns. The invention relates to a nozzle device for metal spray guns. The invention enables a better and more even distribution of the gases and the spray mass as well as quick work, especially with spray coatings of about 2 mm.
According to the invention, means are provided between the spray metal guide nozzle and the gas guide nozzle concentrically surrounding it, which divide the gas flow into partial flows in order to favorably influence the gas-air mixture and the melting and distribution of the spray metal guided centrally into the combustion chamber.
In the drawing, for example, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown. The figures show: FIG. 1 a longitudinal section through the example of the spray gun partially shown, FIG. 2 a front view of the nozzle of the spray gun, FIG. 3 the spray metal guide nozzle with the intermediate nozzle arranged on it, in a longitudinal section, FIG. 4 shows a view of the spray metal guide nozzle and FIG. 5 shows a view of the intermediate nozzle.
The spray gun, partially indicated in FIGS. 1 and 2, is denoted by 1. Your front part has a mouthpiece formed from two mutually offset and concentrically arranged threaded connectors 2 and 3. The air ducts 4 open out on the end face of the outer threaded connector 2 and the gas ducts 5 open out on the end face of the inner threaded connector 3. In the middle of the threaded connector 3, the spray metal guide channel 6 opens out, which is expanded into a threaded bore 7.
A spray metal guide nozzle 8 is screwed into the threaded bore 7 and is provided with a threaded attachment 9 and a hexagonal collar 10 for this purpose. The axial bore 6 'of the nozzle 8 is used to guide the spray metal wire. The ko cally tapered front end of the nozzle 8 is provided on its circumference with longitudinal grooves 11 serving as nozzles. On the conical part of the nozzle 8, an intermediate nozzle 12 is mounted by means of a correspond to the conical bore, which is also provided on its circumference with longitudinal grooves 13 serving as nozzles.
A nozzle 8 is screwed onto the threaded connector 3 by means of a union nut 14, forming a jacket space 5 'around the gas nozzle 15' which is concentric to this. This is provided at its conical end part on the circumference with longitudinally directed nozzle grooves 16 and adapted to the conical part of the intermediate nozzle 12 with the conical part of its bore. The grooves 16 in the gas nozzle 15 are offset from the grooves 13 in the intermediate nozzle 12 in the circumferential sense. The intermediate nozzle 12 located in the jacket space 5 is pressed against the conical part of the spray metal guide nozzle 8 by the gas nozzle 15 surrounding it and is thus held in place. An air nozzle is screwed onto the thread connector 2.
This has a hexagon nut 17 designed as a forward tapered part 18 provided with connection piece 19, an intermediate piece provided with a rimmed nut 20 and connection piece 21, which is detachably screwed onto the connection piece 19, and a rimmed collar 24 Main nozzle 23, which the latter is screwed onto the connecting piece 21. In the main nozzle a conical feed ring 25, which is provided all around with longitudinal nozzle bores 26, is used. It is secured in its position by the intermediate piece that engages in the main nozzle.
By tightening the air guide nozzle on the threaded connector 2, the conical bore of the lining ring 2.5 is pressed against the outer surface of the conical mouth part of the gas nozzle 15. The air guiding nozzle 17, 18, 22, 23 surrounds the gas nozzle 15, forming a jacket frame 4 'for guiding the air.
The main nozzle overlaps the mouths of the air and gas nozzles and forms a mixing and combustion chamber 27 in front of them, in which, when the gun is in operation, the spray metal wire fed through the channel 6, 6 'is melted from the gases burning in the chamber 27 and the molten metal is atomized.
The air supplied through the channels 4 and the jacket space 4 'is split through the Dü senbohrungen 26 and the nozzle grooves 1.6 into two concentric partial flows, namely bundles of rays each with a circular cross section. The combination of the high-tension gas and the air, both of which are divided into concentrically intermingling partial flows, results in a homogeneous fuel gas-air mixture, in the hottest combustion zone of which the spray metal wire is melted and atomized by the combustion gases.
The gas entering through the channels 5, which can be luminous or hydrogen gas, flows into the jacket space 5 ', separates in front of the intermediate nozzle, with one of the partial flows in the annular space formed between the parts 8, 12 and through the grooves 11 GE reached into the combustion chamber 27, while the other partial flow passes through the grooves 13 into the chamber 27, where the two gas partial flows mix with the two air partial flows mentioned.
These gas and air flows occur in partial flows separately at intervals from one another from the grooves 11 and the bores 26, which ensures intimate mixing and a high combustion effect.
