Un écran opaque 8 s'étend en avant du cache 6, au-dessous des ouvertures 7, de faon à intercepter les rayons lumineux réfléchis vers le bas et susceptibles d'atteindre l'avant du véhicule. Cet. écran 8 est, constitué par une plaque fixée perpendiculairement au cache 6 a la hauteur du bord inférieur des ouvertures 7 et s'étendant sur toute la largeur de la vi sière 5, comme représenté à la fig. 2.
