PHARE DE VEHICULE.
La présente invention a pour objet un phare de véhicule, muni d'un dispositif d'obscurcissement comprenant une visière destinée à intercep- ter les rayons lumineux inclinés réfléchis par la moitié supérieure du réflec- teur.
Le phare selon l'invention est caractérisé par une cache recou- vrant l'avant du réflecteur et présentant au moins une ouverture pour le'pas- sage des rayons lumineux, et par un écran s'étendant en avant à partir de la dite cache, au-dessous de la dite ouverture de façon à intercepter les rayons lumineux réfléchis vers le bas et susceptibles d'atteindre l'avant du véhi- cule.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exé- cution de l'objet de l'invention.
La figure 1 est une vue en coupe de ce phare par la ligne 1-1 de la figure 2.
La figure 2 est une vue en coupe par la ligne 2-2 de la figure 1.
Le phare de véhicule représenté comprend un réflecteur 1 au fo- yer duquel est disposée une ampoule électrique 2, la forme de ce réflecteur étant telle qu'il ne réfléchisse pas de rayons lumineux parallèles. Une enve- loppe 3 entoure le réflecteur 1 et est fixée à un support 4 à l'avant du vé- hicule, une automobile par exemple.
Ce phare est muni d'un dispositif d'obscurcissement comprenant une visière 5 destinée à intercepter les rayons lumineux inclinés réfléchis par la moitié supérieure du réflecteur et une cache 6 recouvrant l'avant du réflecteur et présentant deux ouvertures 7 pour le passage des rayons lumi- neux. Ces ouvertures 7 sont rectangulaires et sont pratiquées de part et d'au- tre du plan vertical passant par l'axe optique, la trace de ce plan étant re-

présentée par la ligne 1-1 de la figure 2. Au lieu de deux ouvertures rec- tangulaires, on pourrait bien entendu n'en prévoir qu'une seule sous forme de fente étroite. Les deux ouvertures permettent toutefois d'unifier les rayons de la projection lumineuse.
Un écran opaque 8 s'étend en avant de la cache 6, au- dessous des ouvertures 7 de façon à intercepter les rayons lumineux réfléchis vers le bas et susceptible d'atteindre l'avant du véhicule. Cet écran 8 est con- stitué par une plaque fixée perpendiculairement à la cache 6 à la hauteur du bord inférieur des ouvertures 7 et s'étendant sur toute la largeur de la visière 5 comme représenté à la figure 2.
9 désigne une ouverture-circulaire formée dans la partie infé- rieure de la cache 6 pour réaliser un feu de position. Cette ouverture 9 est recouverte à l'intérieur par exemple d'une feuille de celluloïde bleue et un écran 10 empêche une partie des rayons réfléchis par le réflecteur de tra- verser la dite ouverture.
L'avantage du phare décrit est de permettre la projection d'un faisceau lumineux en avant du véhicule sans qu'il soit possible pour un ob- servateur situé au-dessus du dit véhicule de voir ni la source lumineuse ni des reflets sur l'avant de ce véhicule.
REVENDICATIONS.
1) Phare de véhicule, muni d'un dispositif d'obscurcissement comprenant une visière destinée à intercepter les rayons lumineux inclinés réfléchis par la moitié supérieure du réflecteur caractérisé par une cache recouvrant l'avant du réflecteur et présentant au moins une ouverture pour le passage des rayons lumineux, et par un écran s'étendant en avant à par- tir de la dite cache, au-dessous de la dite ouverture de façon à intercep- ter les rayons lumineux réfléchis vers le bas et susceptibles d'atteindre l'avant du véhicule.
