Description
Device for mixing the fuel-air mixture in the intake line of an internal combustion engine. The present invention is a device for:
Mixing of the fuel-air mixture in the intake line of an internal combustion engine. According to the invention has. the device has two guide disks provided with the opposite direction of rotation of the fuel-air (Te- misehes causing blades.
A preferred embodiment of the subject invention He is as an embodiment example in the accompanying drawings and Darge with reference to the same in. Described below. It shows: Fig. 1 a longitudinal section through the Ein rricht.ung, Fig.? a plan view of a guide disk and FIG. 3 a side view of the same.
In the drawing, 1 denotes a housing which can be installed in the intake line of an internal combustion engine behind the carburettor by means of the two flanges 2, 3. In its central part, the housing has two guide disks -l, 5. These guide discs, one of which is shown in FIGS. 2, 3, have blades 6, which give the mixed cream flow entering through the connection 7 a rotation about the axis = 1-A.
The blades of the guide disks 4, 5 are directed in opposite directions, so that, for example, the mutually opposite rotational movements of the mixture flow indicated by the arrows, b are achieved. will. This repeated deflection brings about an intimate mixing of the fuel-air mixture. It is still increased by the toe disk 8, which is seen with a central passage opening 9 ver.
This disk 8 is attached between the guide disks 4, 5. Outside the space between the guide disks, sieves 10, 11 are net arranged in two ways.
When using the one described device, as a result of the intimate mixing of the fuel with the air, extensive utilization of the fuel is sufficient and, under certain circumstances, the efficiency is increased. As experience has shown, a perfect mixture is obtained even at low revs. If desired, the housing 1 can be provided with a double jacket and the space between the inner and outer jacket can be traversed by exhaust gases, whereby the inner jacket and the mixture flowing through it are heated.
