Fig. 2 zeigt den aufmontierten Isolator in Seitenansicht.
Fig. 3 zeigt den aufmontierten Isolator in Vorderansicht. Fig. 4 zeigt den aufmontierten Isolator in Hinteransicht.
A wire-carrying insulator on posts, especially for electric cattle fences. In many cases, the wire lines of the electric cattle fences have hitherto been hung on insulators, which are firmly connected to the posts that carry them. These posts, which were reinforced with the insulators in the factory, were rammed into the ground at the designated locations, and it had to be ensured that the insulators were at the desired height above the ground.
The exact adherence to hell is often difficult because of the soil design and also because of the fact that the posts often have to be driven into stony, but often into sandy soil and therefore the depth at which the post gains a firm hold can be very different can. In addition, when the posts were driven in, there was always the risk that the insulators would be damaged and break due to the inevitable vibration. Because of the fixed connection of the insulator with the post, a subsequent raising or lowering of the line wires could not take place, and so one was often not able to adapt the arrangement of the electrical lines to the circumstances.
These disadvantages of these posts with insulators previously used for electrical cattle hiding are avoided in the object of the invention, in which the insulator is designed so that it can be released after driving the post into the same at the desired and appropriate height above the ground Subsequent adjustment is also easily possible.
Accordingly, the object of the invention is a wire-carrying insulator on posts, especially for electrical cattle fences, the insulator being provided with clamping and fastening means and adjustable to any height and removable on the post. The isolator expediently consists of two identical parts which are pressed together by a clamping screw and. can be arranged detachably and adjustable in height on a metal rod serving as a post.
This possibility of adjusting the insulator on the rod not only allows better adaptation to the terrain, it also creates the possibility of tensioning two or more fence wires arranged one above the other. If necessary, the number of fence wires can also be increased by retrofitting the required insulators.
The object of the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to .1 of the drawing.
1 shows an insulator mounted on a post in plan view.
Fig. 2 shows the mounted insulator in side view.
Fig. 3 shows the mounted insulator in a front view. Fig. 4 shows the mounted insulator in a rear view.
In all four figures, <I> a '</I> and <I> a "</I> denote the two identically designed halves of the insulator, which are pulled tightly against each other by means of the screw b and thereby sten on the posts made as a metal rod c can be pressed.
Each Isola gate half has a channel with a circular segment-shaped cross-sectional area, which rests on the post with the channel surface and as partially engages through the post (Fig. 1), also a slot e (Fig. 2) for introducing the line wire d, which is on The bottom of the slot <I> e </I> of part a ", the slot of which is open at the top, rests on it and is thus carried by this half of the insulator. Because the two insulator halves are exactly the same, the two slots are located when the insulator is mounted offset to each other (Fig. 3).
The parts f ', f "of the insulator halves encompass the lead wire d are claw-shaped (Fig. 3), which does not reduce the strength, but makes it easier to insert the lead wire into the insulator. The rear view of the mounted insulator (Fig. 4) clearly shows that if the screw b is loosened, a longitudinal displacement of the insulator on the post c is easily possible and that when the screw connection is completely loosened, the two halves a ', a "can be removed from the post.
On the other hand, these halves can be placed at any point on the post and firmly connected to the post by their screw connection.
