Time counter. The object of the present invention is. Lin time counter, comprising a column wheel whose teeth are actuated by a pusher and whose. the columns control a rocker to stop the balance.
This counter is characterized by the fact that the pusher has a part actuating at least one resetting heart by means of a hammer and by the fact that one gap in two of the teeth of the column wheel is, deeper than the other, such that, during the control of said wheel, said pusher occupies a slightly different position depending on whether it cooperates with a deep or shallow gap, this pusher actuating the hammer only in one of these two positions, the whole. in such a way that every second maneuver of the push button activates the reset core.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object (the invention.
The thread-. 1 is a plan view of the mechanism, the meter being stopped.
ha fig. 2 is a plan view of a detail. The thread-. 3 is a section of this detail along line III-III of FIG. 2.
The various functions of the counter shown are controlled by the crown, not shown, which actuates, by means of a pin 1, a push-button 2 returned by a res out 3 acting by means of a lever 4. This push-button 2 cooperates with the control teeth of a column wheel 5 whose columns operate. a rocker 6 carrying a whip 7 intended to come into contact with the balance to stop it. This latch 6 is biased by a spring 8 acting through the intermediary of a latch 9, which also controls, by an arm 9a, a mechanism (not shown) for locking the needle of the secon.
This needle has a reset core 10. The reset heart of the minute counter is designated by 11. The reset hammers, designated by 12, are biased by a spring 13. These hammers have a nose 12a with which a tongue can cooperate. 2a of pusher 2. It should be noted that the. control teeth of the column wheel 5, has every second gap, designated by 14, deeper than the others designated by 15 (fig. 2).
The spring 3 does not only urge the pusher 2 in the direction of. arrow 16, but also in that of arrow 17, thus tending to apply the end of the pusher \? against the bottom of the between-teeth 14 and 15. Consequently, the pusher 2 does not occupy exactly the same position depending on whether it cooperates with a gap 14 or with a gap 15; the tongue 2a only cooperates with the gap 12a when the pusher 2 cooperates with a deep gap 14.
The operation of this counter is as follows: In the position shown in fig. 1, the counter is stopped, the whip 7 cooperating with the balance. In this position, the pusher 2 is called upon, during the following maneuver, to cooperate with a deep gap 14. During this maneuver, the tongue 2a drives the hammers 12 which bring back the seconds hands and the minute counter to zero; simultaneously, the column wheel having turned by one tooth, the whip 7a.
released the balance, the movement therefore starts as soon as the weight on the crown ceases. A single operation of the crown thus made it possible to return the hands to zero and to restart them immediately. During a new operation of the crown, the pusher 2 being called upon to cooperate with a shallow gap 15, the hammers are not engaged. This maneuver therefore only stops the movement, the hands remaining in the position they occupy at that time.
This counter will be particularly useful for measuring the time used by a machine for the production of parts in series.
