Innengewinde-Me¯einrichtung.
Fig. I eine Ansicht der Innengewinde- Me¯einrichtung von der Seite gesehen,
Fig. 4 einen Schnitt gemäss I-I in der Fig. 2.
Internal thread mech.
When producing internal threads, limit plug gauges with a good end face are usually used. However, these are only effective for relatively small internal threads. With internal threads with a larger diameter, these limit gauges are too heavy and unwieldy. Apart from this, plug gauges have the disadvantage that they only check the thread to be checked, but do not allow it to be measured.
When producing an internal thread on the lathe, however, it is advantageous if the achievement of the correct dimensions can be ascertained on the right side, so that the infeed of the cross support is adjusted accordingly in order to avoid a possible discharge.
In the internal thread measuring device according to the invention, external thread sections and each a Mēbacks having a Mēbacks having Mēbacken are provided for eliminating this Wangels, which can be displaced against each other by a guide, but non-rotatably mounted and moved to md from each other by an adjusting member.
In the accompanying drawing is shown schematically an example embodiment les subject of the invention.
Show it :
Fig. I is a view of the internal thread Mē device seen from the side,
Fig. 2 is a longitudinal section through the device of Fig. 1,
3 shows a view of the device from the left according to FIGS. 1 and
FIG. 4 shows a section according to I-I in FIG. 2.
In FIG. 1, 1 and 2 denote two opposing measuring jaws which each have two external thread sections 3 to 6 on their outer sides. These external thread cut-offs have such a shape that their thread corresponds to a specific internal thread to be measured.
Each measuring jaw also has a stop 7 or 8 and a measuring extension 9 or 10.
The outer surfaces of these two measuring extensions are parts of the lateral surface of a cylinder, whereby the corresponding cylinder diameter is exactly as large as the outer diameter of the male thread sections attached to the measuring brackets. Both measuring brackets are provided with a threaded hole 11 and 12, respectively one hole has a right-hand thread and the other a left-hand thread. An adjusting screw 14, which has a fixed rotary handle 13 in its center, engages in these bores with corresponding threads.
If the rotary handle 13 is accordingly turned in one direction, the screw 14 is screwed into the two Mē jaws 1 and 2, i.e. the measuring jaws 1 and 2 are brought closer to one another, while turning the rotary handle 13 in the opposite direction of rotation unscrews the vision hood 14 has the consequence of the measuring jaws 1 and 2, that is, the measuring jaws 1 and 2 move away from each other.
In order for this process to proceed properly, the two measuring jaws 1 and 2 may not twist against each other, however. This is achieved by a guide rod 15 with trapezoidal cross-section having end parts, which on the one hand is firmly connected to the measuring jaw 2 by means of a viewing hood 16 and on the other hand is movably mounted in a dovetail-shaped groove 17 of the measuring jaw 1.
The longitudinal axis of the guide rod 15 is of course parallel to the axis of the screw 14. The cross section of the guide rod 15 between its two ends with a trapezoidal cross-section is smaller and reehteckformig, the edges of the rectangle are rounded, as has been shown in the drawing. The rod could also have a continuously trapezoidal cross-section: the embodiment shown has the advantage that the surfaces to be precisely machined are shorter and that the rotary handle 13 can be operated more easily and without touching sharp edges.
It can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 4 that the straight guide rod 15 is also mounted in the measuring beam 2 in a dovetail-shaped groove. From FIG. 3, the width of the external thread extensions 3, 4 and the shape of the measuring projections 9 10 can be seen, while FIG. 4 clearly shows the rounded cross-sectional shape of the central part of the straight guide rod 15.
The handling of the described internal thread measuring device is now as follows: If, for example, an internal thread of 68 mm diameter and 16 turns per inch is to be turned, an internal thread measuring device is provided for the measurement, in which the thread absentee 3 to 6 is to be turned Thread and the rounding diameter of the measuring extensions is 68mm. To take a measurement after pre-turning the internal thread, the rotary handle 13 of the internal thread measuring device is rotated so that the two measuring jaws 1, 2 approach one another.
In this state, the measuring device is inserted with the Geradfüh approximately rod 15 first into the workpiece up to the stop on the stops 7, 8. The rotary handle 13 is then rotated in such a way that the two measuring jaws 1, 2 move away from each other until the external thread sections 3 to 6 engage in the rotated internal thread. In this position, the measuring device sits firmly in the workpiece. With the aid of a calliper or a micrometer, the core dimension of the turned internal thread is now measured via the mounting studs 9, 10 protruding from the workpiece.
If, for example, 67, 80 mm is obtained, then one knows that 0.2 mm must be turned in addition to the known thread play to be provided. The measurement over the two Aless projections 9, 10 does indeed measure an outer diameter. The measured value actually depends on the nature of the flanks of the internal thread when the flanks of the external thread sections are brought to rest on those of the turned internal thread. With the internal thread measuring device described, one can therefore be certain that the finished internal thread is dimensionally accurate.
In contrast to the known devices, the measuring device described is easy to handle and allows the correct size of the rotating internal thread to be determined in good time by measuring, so that there is no uncertainty and only a small amount of rejects can be expected.
