Fig.4).
Mold with cores for producing chimney and ventilation attachments made of concrete and similar material. The invention relates to a mold with cores for producing fireplace and ventilation attachments made of concrete and similar material, with wind tunnels, which lead from the outside to a central draft channel that connects to the chimney opening.
The manufacture of such chimney or ventilation attachments has so far consistently been carried out by tamping in a hollow mold, with preformed cores made of molding sand being inserted into these to form the winding channels. and washed out by a strong jet of water after the concrete has hardened. This method is cumbersome, time-consuming and does not result in smooth surfaces and edges of the channels.
These disadvantages are avoided by the invention in which the shape has windows in its outer shell and its inner shell. and the parts of the wind tunnels generating, split metal cores are inserted into these windows to the outside and to the middle cavity of the inner shell back out. These nuclei can be used for a short time. pulled out of the mold through the window after the concrete or concrete-like material was tamped down and used over and over again. will.
There are therefore the formation of new cores for each manufacturing process, the cumbersome washout process and the waiting time for removing the cores until the concrete hardens. In this way, the production of the wind tunnels succeeds in a simple and clean manner and takes little time.
In the drawing, two execution examples of the subject invention are illustrated.
1 shows the shape with inserted cores in elevation, FIG. 2 shows a horizontal section along the line A-B in FIG. 3 shows an elevation of the outer shell of the mold, FIG. 4 shows an elevation of the inner shell of the mold, FIG. 5 shows a diagrammatic view of two cores interacting to produce a wind tunnel, FIG. 6 shows an elevation of a partial sheet metal to be inserted into the mold,
7 is a perspective view. one with. 1 to 6 manufactured Ka minaufsatzes, the course of the channels for the sake of clarity is indicated only at two points by dashed lines., Fig. 8 is a horizontal cross section of the chimney top along the line CD of Fig. 7, Fig. 9 shows a further embodiment of the mold and the cores, FIG. 10 shows a chimney top made with the mold and the kernel according to FIG.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 6, a shape is illustrated which is used for the production of one-piece or multi-part chimney attachments according to FIGS. This chimney attachment has wun dene, upwardly rising wind tunnels a ,, which lead from the outside to the central pulling channel b, which closes at the chimney opening. The channels a are arranged in two horizontally superimposed zones and have opposite swirl in the different zones. The channels decrease in diameter from the outside to the inside.
The mold for producing the attachments has an outer jacket 10 with windows 11. The outer jacket consists of two halves that are detachably united by screws 12. In this outer jacket 10, the inner jacket 13 with windows 14 is inserted from below, which rests with a flange 15 against the lower surface of the outer jacket 10. The inner jacket 13 is provided with a removable extension 16 which serves to form one end part of the central pulling channel of the attachment. The windows 11 and 14 correspond to the entrances and exits of the wind tunnels a and the windows 14 are obviously smaller than the windows 11.
None, which consist of parts 17 and 18, serve to form the - # Vind channels a-. The cores 17, 18 are designed as hollow sheets made of metal and have a shape corresponding to the formation of the wind tunnels. The core parts 17 are pushed from the outside through the window 11 of the outer jacket 10 and can be removed into the cavity of the mold and are placed against the outer surface of the mold on one side with a flange 19. Their cross-section decreases considerably from the outside in. The core parts 18 are removably inserted into the window 14 through the cavity of the inner jacket 13.
You put ge conditions on the inner jacket 13 with flanges 20, while they connect to the inside of the core parts 17 and so form their continuation. The outer core parts 17 are held by removable straps 21 and the inner cores by slightly conical retaining rings 22 in the form.
In the manufacture of the attachment, the lower series of cores 17, 18 is first inserted and the material is tamped into the mold up to the appropriate height, then the upper series of cores 17, 18 is inserted, and finally the extension 16 of the inner jacket 13 is placed and the shape is gradually tamped accordingly. After removing the straps 21 and rings 22, the core parts 17, 18 are pulled outwards and inwards and the finished chimney attachment is made by loosening the parts of the outer jacket 10 and pulling them out. the inner jacket 13 and its extension 16 freed.
The \ embodiment of the form and cores according to FIG. 9 is used. For the production of chimney and ventilation attachments, which have two zones of winding wind tunnels a, one above the other, with opposite swirl and a pus upper zone with straight channels crl rising diagonally upwards, which also go from the outside of the attachment to the central exhaust duct b lead (Fig-. 10).
The outer jacket 10 and the inner jacket 13 thus have a further horizontal row of windows in which the hollow cores 17a serving to form the channels a1. who are used. These cores run straight and are made in one piece. Furthermore, the outer jacket 10 and the inner jacket 13 have a conical taper 10a and 13a at one end. each has a central opening 24, which has a much smaller diameter than the zv Lindrisehe part of the inner jacket 13.
A cylindrical crane adjoins the opening 24 of the inner jacket towards the outside.
In the case of the chimney and ventilation attachments (FIG. 10) made with such designed For men and cores, a penetration of wind into the central exhaust duct is largely prevented, due to the conical design of the upper part of the attachments and the narrow outlet opening. For example, a passing wind through the upper vent opening is diverted to the outside through the straight channels a1.
To produce the chimney attachments in several parts, sheets 23 are used, which are inserted into the mold in a suitable manner between the inner and outer casing (see FIG. 4). The sheets can have any suitable shape. In the present exemplary embodiment, they have the shape of a hollow truncated cone.
With the shapes and cores described you can use. Chimney and ventilation attachments of any kind provided with wind tunnels are produced, e.g. B. essays with. a zone of channels, where all channels have the same twist, or zones of channels with ver different twist, or straight rising channels can be provided, one-piece and multi-part attachments, etc.
