Switching at a receiver in a transmission system with selective calling for each receiver participating in the system. The invention relates to a circuit at a receiver in a transmission system with selective calling for each receiver participating in the system, in which transmission system a carrier wave with a number of at least partially different ringing tones different for each of the subscribers characteristic order is modulated.
The circuit according to the invention has. the indicator that it contains a number of selective networks that match the number of ringing tones and that are matched to the frequencies of the different ringing tones and that these networks are included in the circuit in such a way that the recipient is sensitive to a ringing tone and after receiving this tone one after the other, in the sequence that is characteristic for this recipient, becomes sensitive to the other ringing tones that apply to him and that an alarm or loudspeaker circuit is closed after the last ringing tone has been received.
The circuit according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, for example.
In Fig. 1 is a block diagram of a Emp catcher is shown.
FIG. 2 shows a selective amplifier of a known type which is used in the circuit according to FIG. In Fig. 3 it is shown how the Umschal device of the relay taken in the circuit according to Fig.1 goes before, and in Fig. 4, another embodiment of a receiver part is shown.
At the transmitter means are provided with which the carrier wave is sequentially with. a number of ringing tones of different frequency can be modulated, e.g. B. buttons in a desired order by means of pressure or a dial can be selected. The number of rings can e.g. B. be three, and their frequencies must be chosen appropriately.
The receiver shown in Figure 1 with the input stage R, which can be of the usual type and has an output tube V2 and a key tube Vi, contains the excitation circuit of a relay Y in the output circuit of the output tube. In the output circuit of the receiver. a limiter V3 to limit the amplitudes of the ringing tones taken, behind which a selective amplifier V4 is connected. Furthermore, the receiver according to FIG. 1 contains a relay tube V5, the relays A, B and C and the networks 1, 2 which are selective for the frequencies <B> <I> fl, f2, </I> </B> fs and 3.
A loudspeaker or alarm circuit LS is also provided.
The circuit of the selective receiver V4 is shown in FIG. This amplifier contains a circuit for negative feedback in which a bridged T-network or a similar notch filter is included. As can be seen from the following, who uses the selective networks 1, 2 and 3 as such, and one of these networks is switched between terminals 4, 5 and 6, 7 to control the relays. If z.
If, for example, the network 1 is included in the negative feedback circuit, the amplifier is tuned to the frequency f i and only vibrations at this frequency are passed on to the relay tube V, 5.
In Fig. 3, the contacts of the relays A, B, C and Y of the circuit according to Figure 1 are shown in their rest position, the selective network 1 is included via the normally closed contacts A of the relay A in the negative feedback circuit of the selective amplifier V4.
Upon receipt of the carrier wave sent out by the transmitter, the key tube Vi is tilted in the receiver, and the relay Y in the output circuit of the tube V2 is energized, whereby the contact Yi (Fig. 3) is closed.
When the first ringing tone is received at the frequency f i, this signal is limited by the limiter V3 and passed by the amplifier V4, after which the tube V5 energizes the relay A included in the output circuit.
As a result, the contacts Ai decouple the selective network 1 of the amplifier V4 and couple the network 2 to this amplifier. The relay A is held via the contact A2 and contact Yi. By closing contact As, a circuit for relay B is prepared.
The following ringing tone with a frequency f 2 is now passed by the selective amplifier V4, there. the selective network 2 is incorporated therein. The network 2 is then switched off through the contacts 13i of the relay B and the network 3 switched on. Relay B is held by contacts B and Y1, and a circuit for relay C is formed by contact B3.
When receiving the third ring at the frequency f3, which now the selective Ver stronger V4 happens because the network 3 is coupled to this, the relay C is energized. This relay remains energized via contact C2 and contact Yi, and contact Ci switches on the loudspeaker or alarm circuit LS so that the call is reported and the call can be received.
When the conversation ends, the carrier wave is switched off in the transmitter, so that the relay Y, which is fed from the key tube V1, drops out, the various contacts return to their rest position and the circuit is ready to receive a fol lowing call.
The switch Si can also be used to bring the contacts into the rest position.
The coding of the calls can be changed by changing the order in which selective networks 1, 2 and 3 are switched on. With three networks and three relays, a maximum of twelve different combinations are possible, and with four networks and four relays the number of combinations is 108.
So every recipient can come with. a different combination can be provided so that every recipient can be called with the exclusion of others.
In the embodiment of the circuit according to FIG. 4, discharge tubes are used instead of the relays A, B and C according to FIG. Here, the output voltage of the tube V5 is fed to the tubes 9, 10 and 11 via a transformer 8. The negative grid voltage of the tube 9 is selected so that this tube is always set to the normal working range.
The control grid of the tubes 10, 11 and 12 are biased with a negative voltage with respect to the cathode by these cathodes are connected to the voltage divider 13, 14 via the supply voltage battery. This negative bias of the cathodes is. chosen in such a way that the tubes do not carry any current in the rest position.
The anode circuits of the tube 9, 10 and 11 contain the selective networks 15, 16 and 17, respectively, which are based on the frequencies <B> fl, </B> <I> f 2 </I> and <I> fs </ I > are tuned, as has been described with reference to FIG. Each of these networks 15, 16 and 17 feeds a rectifier (18, 19 and 20), and each is equal. coupled to the control grid of the following tube via resistors 21, 22 and 23. A relay 26 is incorporated in the anode circuit of tube 1.2.
If the first ringing tone is received at the frequency f i, the signal is fed to the control grid of the tube 9, and since the selective network 15 is tuned to the frequency f1, occurs. a positive voltage in the output circuit of the rectifier 18, wel che voltage is fed to the control grid of the tube 10, which is set in its operating range as a result. The following ringing tone with the frequency f2 occurs at the control grid of the tube 10 and as a result of the network 16 tuned to the frequency f2, a positive voltage now occurs at the output of the rectifier 19, whereby the tube 11 is also set in the working range.
The third ringing tone with the frequency f s occurs. at the entrance of the tube 11, and as before, the tube 12 is consequently geöff net. As a result, the relay 26 is energized, whereby the loudspeaker or alarm circuit 27 is closed.
The correct operation of the circuit according to FIG. 4 is largely dependent on the Zeitkon constants of the load circuits of the rectifiers 18, 19 and 20, which should be sufficient so that the tubes 10, 11 and 12, after they have been opened, a sufficiently long Remain open after the relevant ringing tone has stopped. This dependency can be reduced by including rectifiers or resistors 24 and 25, together with suitable filter circuits, in the circuit in the manner shown in FIG. 4.
If resistors are used, their values and the negative bias voltages must be chosen such that the tubes 10 and 11 are opened by the positive voltages generated by their own output voltages. remain, but such that the positive voltage applied across a resistor to a following tube is insufficient to open the tube when no ringing tones are received. When using rectifiers, they should be polarized in such a way that positive voltages are passed backwards, but not forwards.
