Subset of low-voltage fuse. 1) ie finding refers to a subset of low-voltage fuses with terminal contacts, such as are used in particular in so-called low-voltage power sockets. Such fuses consist of a fixed base with the terminals for the electrical lines and the contacts for receiving the cartridge body, as well as the interchangeable cartridge body finitely the contact blades for the production of the receipt clock with the base.
In the previous versions, the contact blades of the cartridge body were inserted into the flexible contacts. of the pedestal inserted or hung. and clamped by means of a screw which transversely to the T #, insteekriehtung of the cartridge, through the contacts of the base and through the contact blades of the cartridge. The transverse position of the clamping screw is disadvantageous for tightening and loosening the same and also requires a hole or a slot in the contact blades of the cartridge.
It was also not previously possible to use these terminal contacts with 1, -, for recessed installation, in which the insulating cover required here does not allow the transversely positioned clamping socket to be tightened.
According to the invention, these disadvantages are eliminated by the fact that the one clamping contact has a di-uekkkörei- which is pressed under the action of at least one compression spring with predetermined inteni llinimaldrtiek against the contact knife of the cartridge body and that when tightening a locking screw Pressure body due to a conical pressure surface an increased contact pressure on the contact surfaces between:
liischlussstüek and the Kontaktniessei of the cartridge body can transfer.
A particularly two-inch design is obtained if the pressure body is designed as a wedge that is pressed on by a clamping hood that can be operated from the front. If this arrangement is also made in such a way that the wedge is used to transmit the current from the cartridge knife to the connection piece, particularly good contact is achieved when the wedge is tightened.
Due to the wedge-shaped design of the pressure hull, it is possible to use the necessary contact pressure. to achieve a much smaller locking screw than is the case with a direct-acting screw. If, in addition, the screw is replaced by a screw with a hexagonal opening countersunk in the screw head instead of the head screw customary in such devices, then the diameter of the socket wrench for actuating this screw can be kept extremely small.
This is particularly important when designing the fuses for recessed installation, since in this case the openings in the insulating cover can be so small that there is no risk of touching live parts.
The compression spring, which can consist, for example, of a leaf spring inserted between the pressure body and a surface of the stationary connection piece or can act on the pressure body from outside. the task of generating a minimum contact pressure even when the locking screw is loosened and thereby the fuse cartridge when inserting and removing, d. H. before tightening resp. to provide the necessary hold against falling out after loosening the locking screw.
Instead of a wedge-shaped pressure body, it can also have a rectangular shape in cross section, in which case the locking screw is to be seen with a cone.
The drawing shows. some execution examples of the subject invention.
Fig. 1 is a cross-section, Fig. 2 is a side view and Fig. 3 is a plan view of an embodiment with a wedge-shaped pressure body.
4 shows the cross section and FIG. 5 shows the top view of an embodiment with a straight pressure body and a conical clamping screw.
FIGS. 6 and 7 show a variant according to FIGS. 1-3 in elevation and plan.
In all FIGS. 1 to 3, the connection piece with the connection screw, which is fastened in a known manner with the screws b on the insulating base c and for receiving the wedge-shaped pressure body cl and the contact blade e of the cartridge body f, is a vertical one Surface g and an inclined surface h. The pressure element d is adjusted by turning the locking screw i, which has its nut thread in the connection piece a.
The stop k on the clamping screw i causes the pressing piece d to loosen when the screw i is loosened. The leaf spring 1, which is attached to the pressure body cd or the connector a or can only be loosely inserted between the pressure body d and the inclined surface h, the pressure body d presses against the contact blade c of the cartridge when the locking screw i is loosened a few turns has been.
Since the cartridge is held under spring pressure even when the locking screw is loosened and can be removed in a known manner by means of insulating pliers and set again without the cartridge during the actuation of the locking tube still being held with the insulating pliers.
4 and 5 are 7n, the pressure body with a rectangular cross section and yes the cone clamping screw. The leaf springs l held by two bail 11 act on the pressure body in such a way that it is pressed against the contact blade e of the cartridge body with a predetermined minimum pressure.
The leaf springs 1 and their mode of operation can be seen particularly clearly from FIGS. 6 and 7, in which case two leaf springs 1 are fastened to the outside of the connecting piece ca by means of screws. The wedge-shaped pressure body d is here provided with an angled bracket p.
In all the drawn exemplary embodiments, there is one clamping contact from a pressure body d., Which is pressed against the contact knife e of the cartridge body under the action of at least one compression spring 1 with a predetermined minimum pressure,
and when a locking screw n is tightened, the pressure body d transmits an increased contact pressure to the contact areas between the connection piece ca and the contact blade c due to a conical pressure area.
From FIGS. 1, 4 and 6 it is easy to see that the locking screw i or na is arranged with its axis parallel to the insertion direction of the cartridge body e and can be actuated from the front.
