Rakete.
Fig. 2 zeigt das Ausführungsbeispiel von unten.
Fig. 3 zeigt den Zünder im Schnitt..
Fig. 4 zeigt die Platzmembranventile in geöffneter Stellung.
Rocket. The invention relates to a rocket which is characterized by the fact that it contains a charge which is intended to convey the propellants from their containers into the combustion chamber and for the ignition of which an electric ignition device is provided.
The drawing shows purely for example an embodiment in the form of a hail rocket.
Figure 7 is a vertical section through the missile.
Fig. 2 shows the embodiment from below.
Fig. 3 shows the detonator in section .. Fig.4 represents. in the Selinitt a container piece with open space diaphragm valves.
Fig. 5 is an enlarged section and top plan view of the furnace nozzle plate.
Fig. 6 shows the example of a launcher frame from which the missiles are to be fired.
The cylindrical middle part 1 of the rocket is also the container for the oxygen carrier 2, which can consist of tetranitroinethane. The inner container 3 receives the fuel 4, which is made of a mixture of, for example, benzene, aniline and xylene be. The containers 1 and 3 are made from a light metal alloy, for example from Anticorodal. In order to simplify the manufacturing process, the two containers 1 and 3 are arranged one inside the other, in contrast to the previous rocket designs. The two screw caps 5 and 6 close the containers 1 and 3 after the fuels 2 and 4 have been filled.
Above the two fuel tanks 1 and 3 there is a charge 7, which consists for example of calcium chromate and carbon and which is intended to promote the propellants 2 and 4 to their containers in the combustion chamber. When ignited, this charge dissipates while generating an even pressure. The ignition takes place electrically with the help of the ignition contact (8).
The pressure built up by the deflagration of the charge 7 breaks. the space membrane valves 9 and 10 on annular perforated lines; the space membrane valves 9 and 10 are preferably made of light metal. Fig. 4 shows the space diaphragm valves in the open position. As a result of the pressure increase in containers 1 and 3, the putty 11 is pressed out in the nozzle holes 12 of the nozzle plate 13, and the fuels 2 and 4 can flow into the combustion chamber 14.
Since liquids are used in the exemplary embodiment. that self-ignite when they converge, a special ignition device is not required when the rocket is fired. The entire process is triggered without delay in an extremely simple manner by closing a circuit between the rocket body 1 and the insulated built-in contact B. The burned gases flow out of the discharge nozzle 15.
To prevent moisture from penetrating the combustion chamber 14 during storage of the rockets, a disk 16 is inserted at the lower end of the discharge nozzle 15, which automatically flies out when the rocket drive starts due to the internal pressure of the furnace.
The container forming the missile body ends at the lower part in the rear fairing 17 to which the four stabilizing surfaces 18 are attached. The rear panel and the four stabilizing surfaces are expediently cast in one piece from light metal. The entire rear section is attached to the discharge nozzle 15 and the lower part of the tetranitromethane container 1.
The payload tip 19 of the hail rocket contains the explosive 20. The detonation of the explosive 20 is triggered by a temperature-sensitive detonator. This forms the upper end of the rocket and is isolated from the payload tip 19 by an asbestos ring 21. According to Figure 3, the detonator has the pointed body 22 with the downwardly elongated narrow part 23. A piece 24 of the same size is attached to the sem part 23. While the tip 22 and 23 consists of a metal with a very large expansion coefficient, for example zinc, the counterpart 24 is made of a material with the lowest possible expansion coefficient, for example tungsten.
If the rocket now moves into the colder air layers during the flight, the material 23 is dragged along with it. the high expansion coefficient together faster than the other metal 24, so that the bimetal in the direction of the contact 25 gives way. Given a bimetal, the distance between the bimetal 23, 24 and the contact 25 must be measured so that the contact closes when the 00 limit is passed. With the help of the lead wires 26 and 27, the connection to the power source 28 and the electrical ignition device 29 is made. In addition to the charge 7, the contact 8 also ignites two powder channels 31 and 32 with the aid of electrical detonators 30.
One channel 31 extends as far as the ignition device 29 and only releases the ignition mechanism after the rocket has had a flight time of about three seconds. There is therefore a safety device which prevents the explosive charge 20 from detonating under colder weather conditions during the storage period. The other channel 32 causes, after a certain flight time, a self-destruction of the rocket by detonating the powder charge 20 if the temperature fuse has failed.
So that the rocket is broken down into small enough fragments during the explosion, a small explosive charge 33 is also arranged around the discharge nozzle 15, which deto niert about the time the payload is triggered. It is ver with a fuse 3-1 a related party, which protrudes into the discharge nozzle 15 and is burned by the gas jet of the rocket.
The rocket is expediently fired from a frame according to FIG. This is arranged to be rotatable both to the side and to the tube. It contains a large number of launch frames 35, in the exemplary embodiment sixteen frames. This is. it is possible to fire a larger number of rockets at the same time, which significantly increases the effectiveness. The individual launching frames 35 are expediently arranged at a small angle to one another so that a fan effect is achieved.
The launch of the missile described is carried out by actuating the current generator 36, which is connected to the launching frame by the cable 37. The current surge reaches the launch frame 35 and the contact 8 on the rocket in the charge 7. The current generator 36 can trigger both single fire and mass fire.
