Device for speech sets with automatic record changer and adjustable pause for changing two records. 1) The present invention relates to a device for speaking sets with automatic record changer, in which the movement of the control member, which is periodically driven by the drive mechanism of the speaking set, is used to change the plate and to guide the arm of the pickup, z. B. a rotating control disc, interrupted at a certain moment, or is delayed and the duration of the game break, d. H.
the period of time between the end of playing a disc and the beginning of playing the following disc can be set by means of a device that works together with the drive mechanism of the speaking device and with the control unit mentioned.
This device is designed as a jerky 1Ie mechanism, which has a push rod that is pressed by spring pressure in one direction into a predetermined starting position, and in the other direction the drive mechanism jerks it into a final idle condition that causes the break in play. with the help of a drive element and a temporarily operating 11:
Alteeleinentes is accomplished, which is intended to prevent the return of the pusher rod in its initial position under your influence of the spring mentioned during the feeding process before reaching the end position zxt. Only after reaching the end position is the rod finally returned to the starting position by the spring.
The device according to the invention is simple and nevertheless ensures a thoroughly reliable interaction between the drive element and the push rod, while at the same time an unexpected decline in the push rod during the supply process is prevented by the holding element.
According to the invention, the surface of the push rod is practically smooth for this purpose and the drive member is designed such that it only advances the push rod to the end position in a certain angular position with respect to the push rod. The holding element is also designed in such a way that it only prevents the push rod from moving back in a certain angular position when the drive element is out of operative connection with the push rod, while it is in the end position of the push rod under the influence of the control organ according to a change in its angular position out of operative connection with
the push rod arrives to allow the return movement of the pressure rod to the initial position.
An example embodiment of the device according to the invention is shown schematically in the accompanying drawing in plan view. The push rod 1, which is provided with a practically smooth upper surface, is slidably mounted in stationary positions and is subjected to the action of a spring 2 which presses the upper end of the push rod against a fixed eccentric 3. The starting position of the rod 1 can be adjusted by turning this eccentric. The rod 1 slides through a support 4 which is adjustable along the rod with the aid of an adjusting screw 5.
A spring 6 presses a plate 7 acting as a drive organ against the support 4, which is arranged at least almost perpendicularly with respect to the plate 7, so that the plate 7 also assumes a vertical (inoperative) position with respect to the rod 1, in which it is movable on the rod. The plate 7 has a hole for the rod 1 which is dimensioned in such a way that the plate can assume an inclined position with respect to the rod, in which it is fixed with respect to the rod. The plate 7 is moved by a rotatable impact member in the form of a cam 8. This sits on a fixed shaft 9, on which a worm wheel 10 is easily seen, which men works with a worm 11 together.
The worm 11 is provided on a shaft 12 which drives the turntable of the speaking apparatus indicated only by a dashed circle. When the shaft 12 rotates, transmits. the worm 11 via the worm wheel 10 the Drehbewe supply on the shaft 9, so that the cam .8 periodically displaces the plate 7 in an inclined position with respect to the rod 1, whereby the rod 1 moves from the drive member 7 downward in the drawing becomes. The return of the rod 1 is verhin changed after each forward movement by a holding element 13, which has the shape of a plate which is provided with a hole for the rod 1 similar to the plate 7.
The holding element 13 is under the influence of a spring 14 which forces the plate into such an inclined position in relation to the rod 1 that the holding element 13 is fixed in relation to the rod and in this way results in the retraction of the rod the action of the spring 2 is prevented at the moment when the drive element 7 is perpendicular to the rod. To move the holding element 13 into a vertical, ie inoperative position with respect to the rod 1, a lever 15 is provided which is arranged such that he is operated by a krum men guide track 16.
This guideway is connected to a control member 29 which regulates the movement of the tonearm 17 during the plate change, including a firmly verbun with the tonearm lever arm with a role. The control member 29 and the guide track 16 are driven by the shaft 12 through the mediation of the gears 18, 19 and 20 is. The gear 20 is freely rotatable about the shaft 12 and is. provided with a flange 21 which carries a coupling pawl 22 which is under the pressure of a spring 23 which strives to bring the pawl with a arranged on the shaft 12 Klin kenrad 24 into engagement. When the water engagement is established, the Klin kenrad 24 leads the gear 20 with it, so that the movement of the shaft 12 on the control organ 29 and the guide track 16 is carried over.
The coupling pawl 22, on the other hand, can be freed from the pawl wheel 4 by an arm 25 under the influence of a spring 26 and provided with a claw 27. In the illustrated position of the lever 25, the claw 27 engages the coupling pawl 22, whereby the engagement between the coupling pawl 22 and the wheel 24 is interrupted. The free end of the arm 25 forms a support 28 which lies opposite the free end of the push rod 1.
The device works as follows: When the speech set is in progress, the drive member 7 is periodically moved by the cam 8, the push rod 1 each time making a certain, very small movement towards the end position from the initial position. During the playing of a record, however, this movement of the push rod is reversed because during this time in which the control element 29 is stationary, the guide track 16 holds the lever 15 in such a position that the holding element 13 is is in the inoperative position, so that the spring 2 can return the push rod 1 to its initial position each time after receiving a feed pulse.
When a record is played and the disc change is to take place, the change in the idle state of the Füh approximate track 16 on the control member 29 comes about that after playing the modulated grooves of a record, the control member 29, which is in a position which is through a rotation by 180 of the position shown in the figure can be assumed by mediating the tonearm 17 and one not. drawn lever system operated by the tonearm is set in motion. This can e.g. B.
take place in that the tonearm receives an accelerated inward movement while the eccentric end groove of the record is being played, whereby the arm 25 disengages from the pawl 22 and the coupling between the shaft 12 and the control element 29 comes about. The shaft 12 now drives the gear 20 together with the pawl 22 until the nose 22a of the pawl comes into engagement again with the claw 27 of the arm 25 after a complete revolution of the gear 20. To achieve this, the diameters of the pinions 18 and 20 must behave as 2: 1.
As a result, the stener element 29 and the guide track 16 come to a standstill in such a position that the lever 15 is released and the spring 11 brings the holding element 13 into such an inclined position with respect to the push rod 1 that on the one hand the downward movement of the pressure rod 1 secured. and, on the other hand, rearrangement under the influence of Fe of 2 is prevented. It follows from this that the push rod 1 finally hits the support 28 of the lever 25 in its end position and the claw 27 is moved out of the track of the coupling pawl 22 so that the latter engages the ratchet wheel 24.
As a result, the control member 29 is set in motion again until the nose 22a of the pawl comes back into engagement with the claw of the arm 25 and the control member 29 stops in the above, not shown position, the tonearm together with the pickup and inward is moved with the needle down to the record to play the latter.
In the device described above and is provided, the pause between playing two records depends on the initial position in which the push rod 1 is brought with the help of the Fe of 2 and the eccentric 3, that sooner or later the push rod against the support 28 of the lever 25 pushes. In this way, a correct time setting between the end of the game of a record and the start of a new record is made possible in a simple and reliable manner. The eccentric 3 sits on a shaft, which is preferably provided with a button with a longitudinally ver different time information movable display organ. It is Z. B. also possible to replace the eccentric 3 by a fixed stop, whereby a certain starting position is set for the push rod.
The length of the game break is then regulated by changing the stroke. This can e.g. B.; take place by adjusting the stop, whereby the stroke is longer or shorter, which in turn has the consequence that the Drnekstange 1 in an earlier or later direct moment against the stop 28; pushes. If desired, this device can be combined with the first-mentioned device (use of the adjustable eccentric 3).
