Klappstuhl. Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfin dung ist ein Klappstuhl, der z. B. als Garten- und Feldstuhl verwendbar ist, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass die vordere und die hintere Fussstütze durch mindestens eine Traverse derart miteinander verbunden sind, dass beim Herunterklappen der Rücklehne auf den Sitz die Fussstützen zwangläufig unter den Sitz lochgeklappt werden.
Auf beiliegender Zeichnung ist ein Aus führungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1. eine Seitenansicht des Stuhls in auf geklappter und Fig.2 eine gleiche Ansicht in teilweise zusammengeklappter Stellung, wobei hier die Stoffbespannung weggelassen ist.
Die einzelnen Teile des Stuhlgestelles, d. h. der Sitzrahmen 1, der die Rücklehne bildende Bügel 2, die hintere Fussstütze 3 und die vor dere, über den Sitzrahmen nach oben verlän gerte Fussstütze 4 bestehen aus Stahlrohr.
Der Sitzrahmen 1 bildet ein Viereck. An den hintern Enden der Längsseiten desselben sind Ober- und unterhalb derselben Scharniere 5 und 6 befestigt. In den Scharnieren 5 sind die freien Enden des U-förmigen Bügels 2 der Rücklehne angelenkt und an den Scharnieren 6 in gleicher Weise die freien Enden des eben falls U-förmigen Bügels, welcher die hintere Fussstütze 3 bildet. In der Nähe des vordern Endes der Seitenteile des Sitzrahmens 1 ist bei 7 die wiederum U-förmig gebogene vordere Fussstütze 4 angelenkt. An den obern freien Enden derselben, welche den Sitzrahmen 1. überragen, sind bei 8 die Armlehnen 9 ange- lenkt, deren hintere Enden mittels Gelenken 10 mit dem Bügel 2 der Rücklehne verbunden sind.
Die Armlehnen 9 sind aus einem Winkel profil gebildet, dessen vertikaler Schenkel die Gelenke 8 und 10 tragen und der horizontale Schenkel die Armauflage bildet.
Zwischen den Gelenken 7 und 8 befindet sich ein weiteres Gelenk 11, an welchem eine Traverse 12 angreift, deren anderes Ende bei 1.3 mit der hintern Fussstütze 3 gelenkig ver bunden ist. Praktischerweise wird beidseitig des Sitzes eine solche Traverse 12 angeordnet.
Am Gelenk 13, also an der hintern Fuss stütze, ist ferner eine Lasche 14 mit einer Kulisse 15 angeordnet, wobei .diese Kulisse 15 zur Aufnahme eines Zapfens 16 am Seitenteil des Sitzrahmens 1 dient. 17 ist die Stoffbe spannung, welche am Steg des die Rücklehne bildenden Bügels 2 mittels Schraubenfedern 1.8 befestigt ist. Die Stoffbespannung 17 läuft von hier um die Rückseite des Sitzrahmens 1 und von hier um die Vorderseite desselben und ist an diesen beiden Teilen befestigt. Zweekmässigerweise wird man die vom obern Teil des Bügels 2 herkommende Bespannung mit dem Sitzteil derselben in der Nähe der Rückseite des Sitzrahmens 1 durch eine Stepp naht zusammenhalten.
Soll nun der Stuhl von der Gebrauchsstel lung, wie in Fig. 1 dargestellt, in die Nicht gebrauchsstellung zusammengeklappt werden, wird die Rücklehne 2 nach vorn auf den Sitz rahmen heruntergeklappt. Dabei werden die Armlehnen 9 ebenfalls nach vorn und an nähernd parallel zu sich selbst verschoben. Damit verschwenkt sich das die Armlehne 9 mit der vordern Fussstütze 4 verbindende Ge lenk 8 um das Gelenk 7 am Sitzrahmen 1, und der untere Teil der Fussstütze 4 wird nach hinten unter den Sitzrahmen 1 geklappt.
Mit dieser Bewegung wird der Schwenkzapfen 11 nach vorwärts und abwärts um den Zapfen 7 gedreht und damit die Traverse 12 mitgenom men, deren Gelenk 13 an der hintern Fuss stütze .3 diese in der Weise mitnimmt, dass diese ebenfalls nach vorn unter den Sitzrah men 1 hochgeklappt wird. Mit diesem Zusam menklappen findet eine zwangläufige Bewe gung aller Teile miteinander statt. Es kann also nicht, wie .dies bei bekannten Klapp möbeln der Fall ist, das eine oder das andere Glied unabhängig von den andern frei aus schwingen.
Die Lasche 14 ist mit der Kulisse 15, in welcher sich der Zapfen 16 am Sitzrahmen 1 bewegt, zur Begrenzung .der Stellung der einzelnen Glieder in der Gebrauchslage be stimmt.
Folding chair. The subject of the present inven tion is a folding chair that z. B. can be used as a garden and field chair, characterized in that the front and rear footrests are connected by at least one crossbeam such that when the backrest is folded down on the seat, the footrests are inevitably folded under the seat.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a side view of the chair in the folded position and FIG. 2 shows the same view in the partially folded position, the fabric covering being omitted here.
The individual parts of the chair frame, d. H. the seat frame 1, the bow 2 forming the backrest, the rear footrest 3 and the front of the other, over the seat frame upwards lengthened footrest 4 are made of steel tube.
The seat frame 1 forms a square. At the rear ends of the longitudinal sides of the same, above and below the same hinges 5 and 6 are attached. In the hinges 5, the free ends of the U-shaped bracket 2 of the backrest are articulated and the free ends of the U-shaped bracket which forms the rear footrest 3 on the hinges 6 in the same way. In the vicinity of the front end of the side parts of the seat frame 1, the front footrest 4, which is again bent in a U-shape, is hinged at 7. At the upper free ends of the same, which protrude beyond the seat frame 1, the armrests 9 are articulated at 8, the rear ends of which are connected by means of joints 10 to the bracket 2 of the backrest.
The armrests 9 are formed from an angle profile, the vertical legs of which carry the joints 8 and 10 and the horizontal leg forms the armrest.
Between the joints 7 and 8 there is another joint 11 on which a cross member 12 engages, the other end of which is articulated ver at 1.3 with the rear footrest 3 a related party. Such a cross member 12 is conveniently arranged on both sides of the seat.
On the joint 13, that is to say on the rear foot support, a tab 14 with a gate 15 is also arranged, with .diese gate 15 serving to receive a pin 16 on the side part of the seat frame 1. 17 is the Stoffbe voltage, which is attached to the web of the backrest forming bracket 2 by means of coil springs 1.8. The fabric covering 17 runs from here around the back of the seat frame 1 and from here around the front of the same and is attached to these two parts. For the purposes of this, the covering coming from the upper part of the bracket 2 will be held together with the seat part of the same in the vicinity of the back of the seat frame 1 by means of a stitching.
If the chair is now from the position of use, as shown in Fig. 1, to be folded into the non-use position, the backrest 2 is folded down to the front of the seat frame. The armrests 9 are also moved forward and at approximately parallel to themselves. So that the armrest 9 with the front footrest 4 connecting Ge pivot 8 around the joint 7 on the seat frame 1, and the lower part of the footrest 4 is folded back under the seat frame 1.
With this movement, the pivot pin 11 is rotated forwards and downwards around the pin 7 and thus the cross-member 12 is taken along, the joint 13 of which on the rear foot support 3 takes it with it in such a way that it also moves forward under the seat frame 1 is folded up. With this folding together, there is an inevitable movement of all parts with one another. So it cannot, as is the case with known folding furniture, one or the other link freely swing out independently of the other.
