Control device for opening and closing the water inlet and outlet on dishwasher machines. The present invention relates to a control device which inevitably opens and closes the shut-off elements of the water inflow and outflow of a dishwasher during a washing period in a specific sequence.
The device consists in that control cams are arranged on a shaft, which turns one revolution during a washing process, which control the valve of the cold water inflow, the valve of the hot water inflow and the valve of the outflow of the washing tub, in such a way that the hot water valve remains open until the wash trough is filled with hot water, whereupon the drain valve and the cold water inlet valve open at the same time after the washing process,
so that the draining water is replaced by fresh cold water and the water level in the wash trough remains almost unchanged, whereupon the cold water valve closes first, while the drain valve remains open until the wash trough is empty, whereupon the hot water vents are til opens and fills the wash trough with hot water to the second rrial,
whereupon the drain valve opens after rinsing and the washing tub is emptied with the hot and cold water valve closed.
In the accompanying drawing an example embodiment of the control is illustrated, it show; Fig. 1 the three side by side seated on a shaft control elements for cold water (KW), hot water (17W) and emptying of the washing tub (E), Fig. 2 to 7 the positions of the control organs after rotations of the shaft by the angle a to f.
Of the cam disks 1, 5 and 8, wel che sit on the shaft 2, the Noekenscheibe 1 controls the lever 3 and thus the cold water valve 4 to the wash trough of the washing machine. The Noek disc 5 controls the valve 7 via the lever 6, which closes or opens the drain of the washing tub. The cam disk 8 controls the hot water valve 10 via the lever 9.
Fig. 1 shows the position of the three Noeken- see rows 1, 5 and 8 before the start of the washing process. The valve 7 of the water drain is opened by the cam 5a, so that there is no water in the washing trough and the same can be loaded with dishes. After the dishes to be cleaned are inserted into the washing tub, a motor which drives a propeller that sprays the washing water is switched on, and at the same time the cams 1, 5 and 8 begin to rotate counterclockwise.
The disc 8 with the cam 8a opens the hot water valve 10 (Fig. 1) before the drain valve 7 is closed, so that the cold water still in the supply line flows out of the wash trough.
This measure is required in household washing machines in which washing processes only take place at long intervals, while in l #, '- üchen- operations with continuous washing between the individual washing processes, the hot water in the line does not cool down significantly, so that a preliminary run of the hot water is not required.
After rotating the disks by the angle a, about 140 (Fig. 2), the lever 6 slides over the cam 5a, whereby the drain valve 7 closes, while the lever 9 continues to slide on the cam 8a until there is enough hot water in the wash trough. Fig. 3 shows the moment at which, after a rotation through the angle b of approximately 290, the lever 9 has slipped over the nose 8a, so that the hot water valve 10 is closed.
All three valves are now closed, and the washing process takes place until the cam disks rotate through the angle c of 1800. Now, as shown in Fig. 4, the lever 3 is raised by the nose 1a of the cam disk 1 and thereby the cold water valve 4 is opened. At the same time the nose 5b of the disc 5 lifts the lever 6 and opens the drain valve 7 of the washing trough.
The amount of water flowing in and out is the same, so that during the further rotation of about 330 'only as much cold water flows in as water can flow out through the drain valve 7, so that the water level in the wash trough is almost maintained (Fug . 5). This simultaneous inflow and outflow prevents the food residues from sticking to the dishes again when the water drains. Furthermore, the flow of cold water into the still warm rinse water causes it to gradually cool down and prevents the dishes from being quenched.
Before the drain valve 7 is closed again, the lever 3, which in FIG. 6 has already slid over the nose 1 a, closes the cold water inflow valve 4, so that the wash tub is emptied. Now the nose 8b opens the hot water valve 10 via the lever 9, so that hot water flows into the washing trough again. The hot water valve 10 then closes again in that the lever 9 slides over the nose 8b.
There is now another rinse with hot water during the rotation from 245 to 345 ', whereupon, as can be seen in Fig. 7, the drain valve 7 is opened with the nose 5a, so that up to the complete rotation of 360 that located in the wash trough Rinsing water can flow off, with both the cold water valve 4 and the hot water valve 10 being closed. As soon as the cam disk has now fully rotated. the spray propeller is also switched off so that the machine can be loaded with more dishes to be washed.
