Vorrichtung zum Befestigen von Kronkappenverschlüssen auf Flaschen. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Befestigen von nachgeben den Dichtungen auf Flaschen mit Wulst am Flaschenhals, beispielsweise Gummi- oder Korkdeckel, mittels Kronkappen. Es ist bei derartigen Gefässverschlüssen notwendig, dass die Dichtung durch die übergestülpte Kron- kappe gegen die Diehtungsfläche des Flaschen halses des zu verschliessenden Gefässes auf liegt.
Dieses Aufpressen wird bei maschinellen Vorrichtungen dadurch erzielt, dass beispiels weise das zu verschliessende Gefäss gedreht, die Metallkappe angepresst und gleichzeitig ein Bördelrand erzeugt wird.
Erfindungsgemäss ist die Vorrichtung ge kennzeichnet durch eine mindestens zwei ge geneinander bewegliche Teile aufweisende Ma trize, welche Teile einerseits nach innen umge bogen sind, durch Federn, um diese Teile in der Ruhelage gespreizt zu halten, und durch einen in der Matrizenachse beweglichen zylin- drisehen Stempel, der beim Bewegen gegen die Matrize mit an dieser vorgesehenen Gleitflä chen zusammenwirkt und dabei die Matrizen teile entgegen der Wirkung der Federn schliesst. Zweckmässig sind die Gleitflächen der Matrizenteile trichterförmig gestaltet und sind die Matrizenteile derart auf einem Trag ring schwenkbar gelagert, dass beim Hinunter schieben des Stempels die Matrize geschlossen wird.
Mit Vorteil werden auch Mittel vorgese hen, beispielsweise Federn, welche bewirken, dass nach jedem Arbeitsgang der Stempel und die ihn betätigenden Kraftübertragungsmittel in die Ruhestellung zurückgestellt werden. In der Zeichnung ist als Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung eine handbetätigte Vorrichtung dargestellt, wobei Fig.1 die Ruhestellung und Fig. 2 die Arbeits- bzw. Endstellung zeigt.
Mit 1 ist die zu verschliessende Flaschen öffnung, mit 2 die nachgebende Dichtung in Form einer Gummischeibe und mit 3 die auf gesetzte, bei 3a um den Wulst am Flaschen hals eingebogene Kronkappe bezeichnet. Die Matrizenteile 4 sind am untern Ende 4a nach innen umgebogen, während sie im obern Teil nach innen trichterförmig angeschrägte Gleit- fläehen aufweisen.
Die Matrizenteile 4 - mit Vorteil werden mindestens deren drei in 1200- Teilung vorgesehen - sind auf einem Trag ring 5, der mit dem Gehäuse 6 der Vorrieh- tung fest, verbunden ist, schwenkbar gelagert. Die Achse 7 des zylindrischen Stempels 8 ist im Gehäuse 6 gelagert und kann durch Kraft- übertragungsmittel auf und ab bewegt wer den.
Im vorliegenden Fall wird mittels eines zweiarmigen Hebels 9 ein Herunterdrücken des Stempels 8 entgegen der Kraft, der Rüek- stellfeder 10 bewirkt. Die seitlichen Federn 11 bewirken in der Ruhestellung ein stetes An liegen der Matrizenteile 4 am Stempel.
Die Funktionsweise der Vorrichtung ist kurz folgende: Nachdem auf die Flaschenöff nung die Dichtung und die Kronkappe auf gelegt worden sind, wird die Vorrichtung auf die Flasche aufgesetzt, und der Hebel wird betätigt, so dass der Stempel hinuntergedrüekt wird, wodurch die Matrize geschlossen und an die Kronkappe angepresst wird (Fug. 2).
Wählt man die Höhe der Kronkappe richtig, so wird beire völligen Hinunterpressen des Stempels die Kronkappe unter die Flaschen öffnung eingebogen, so dass während des Um biegens des Metallrandes der Kronkappe auf die Dichtung gleichzeitig ein Druck ausgeübt wird, der nach Beendigung des Bördelvorgan- ges bestehen bleibt und dadurch die Flaschen öffnung abdichtet. Beim Loslassen des Hebel griffes wird der Stempel wieder gehoben, die Matrize öffnet sich, und die Vorrichtung ist wieder funktionsbereit.
Derartige Vorrichtungen können auch als Bestandteile einer maschinellen Flaschenver- sehlussanlage Verwendung finden.

The function of the device is briefly as follows: After the seal and the crown cap have been placed on the bottle opening, the device is placed on the bottle and the lever is actuated so that the punch is pressed down, whereby the die is closed and on the crown cap is pressed on (Fug. 2).
If the correct height of the crown cap is chosen, when the plunger is completely pressed down, the crown cap is bent under the bottle opening, so that while the metal edge of the crown cap is bent, a pressure is exerted on the seal at the same time that exists after the flanging process has ended remains and thereby seals the bottle opening.
