Fig. 3 Schnitte nach den Sehnittlinien II-II bnv.
Regulation device with at least one switch on an electrical power consumer. The present invention relates to a regulating device with at least one switch on an electrical power consumer, in which on a rotatable one. Axis contacts are available, which contacts interact with contact springs.
The invention consists in the fact that there is a switch contact that can be actuated by a bimetallic strip and that controls the flow of current to a part of the power consumer within an angular range of the rotatable axis, and that the position of the bimetallic strip is controlled by a switch that sits on the switch shaft Eccentric disk is adjustable, for the purpose
at different positions of the switch axis to obtain different Einsehalt- and Aussehaltzeiten of said part of the power consumer.
With the usual regulating devices, it was only possible to control parts of the power consumer through optional, series or parallel circuits, e.g. B. to different degrees to heat or to keep individual parts closed or blocked and thereby change the performance. If you didn't want to make the regulating units too complicated, you had to limit yourself to a few levels, usually three to four.
The present invention makes it possible to control part of the power consumer or, if desired, the entire Stromverbrau.eher with the help of the bimetallic strip and to continuously change the ratio of switch-on time to switch-off time through the position of the switch axis.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically, namely a regulating device with a switch on an electrical stove; it shows:
FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section along the line 1-1 of FIG. 2, FIG. 4 shows a view of the Koeheinrich- do.-, which is shown as Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 sections according to the section lines II-II bnv. III-111 in Fig. 1, and Fig. 5 contains a control button with a scale of the regulating device.
An axis 2 rotatably mounted in the frame 1 carries two insulating washers 3 or 3 ', on which contacts 4 or 4' are attached, wel - before a pair of contact springs 5 or 5 ' conductively connect in the operating position of the regulating device.
A device that allows the disks 3 and 3 ' to be brought into the on and off position and to rotate the axis 2 independently of these disks between these two extreme positions is shown in FIG FIGS. 1 to 4 are not drawn in as being essential for the invention. The springs of the contact pair 5 are connected to the terminals 6 and 6a and the springs of the contact pair 5 ' are connected to the terminals 6' </ B> and 6d connected.
A base body 8 a Lis insulating material carries on the one hand the four terminals 6 to 6a 'and on the other hand the frame 1. On two on the frame 1 attached bearing bolt 15 a U-shaped bracket is mounted, the two legs of which 10 and 16 are bimetallic strips. The upper leg 10 presses via a bolt 11 screwed into it on a resilient lever 13 which carries a contact piece 12 at one end and at the the end is riveted to a carrier 13 ', this carrier 13' resting on a part 13 ".
Between the carrier 13 ' and the lever 13 there is a spring 19 which pushes the lever 13 upwards presses. This spring 19 is z. B. riveted to the lever 13 at the point 191 . The contact piece 12 is conductive via the lever 13 the carrier 131 and the part 13 "with the terminal 6 The lower leg 16 of the U-shaped bracket rests resiliently on an eccentric disk 14, which is rigidly attached to the axis 2.
Depending on the bending of the leg 16 as a result of temperature fluctuations, the U-shaped bracket is rotated in the bearing 15 , as a result of which the leg 10 is pretensioned to different degrees becomes. This allows you to compensate for temperature fluctuations in the vicinity of the switch, which could affect the operation of the whole in an undesirable manner.
On a clamp 17, which is also attached to the base body 8, a contact piece 12 'on a carrier 7a against the clamp 17 passes through an insulating plate 7 insulated attached. A heating coil 9 is fastened along the bimetal strip 10 , one end of which is conductively connected to the contact 121 and the other end to the terminal 17 .
The control facility works as follows. In the operating position, the contacts 5 and 5 ' are short-circuited; Likewise, the switching contact 12, 12 'is closed by pressure of the spring 19 shown schematically in FIG. 3. Both the heating resistor R1 and R2 are therefore with a connected to the terminals 6 and 6 ', not shown, the power source, namely the resistor R2 via the switching contacts 5 and 5 ' and the resistor Rl via the contacts Y, the heating coil 9 and the contacts 12, 12'.
The current flowing through the resistor Rl, which also flows through the coil 9 , also heats the latter and thus the bimetal strip 10. This bimetal strip 10 </ B> bends downwards under the heating effect of the coil 9 and opens the switching contact 12, 12 by pressing the bolt 11 on the lever 13 ', whereby the current in the resistor Rl and in the coil 9 is interrupted.
The coil 9 and thus the bimetallic strip 10 now cool down, and after a certain time the contact closes new things, and the re-heating of coil 9 </ B> and resistance Rl starts again, etc.
The resistor Rl, so part of the power consumer, is thus heated by current surges of a certain duration. The switch axle 2 can now be rotated continuously without the disks 3, 31 being carried along, whereby the eccentric disk 14 pivots over the leg 16 and the U-shaped bracket so that the pressure over the leg 10 and the bolt 11 on the lever 13 changes.
Depending on the position of the eccentric disk 14, the bimetallic strip 10 has to bend to different degrees in order to open the contact 12, 12 '. The ratio of switch-on time to switch-off time of the resistance of the Rl can therefore be constantly changed within certain limits by the position of the eccentric disk or the switch axis, where the average heating power of the electricity consumer obtained with one and the same position of the axis 2 is also continuously regulated becomes.
The shape of the eccentric disk 14 can be chosen so that in a certain axis position, which z. B. darch the number 4 on the control button shown in Fig. 5 and rigidly connected to the axis 2 is marked, the bimetallic strip 10 bends too little downwards even when heated, to switch off the resistor Rl.
The switching play described above only takes place when the switch axis is between the marking numbers 3 and 1 , with the eccentric position 3 being strong and in position 1 a slight heating of the resistor Rl takes place. The switching positions marked in FIG. 5 are indicated by arrows on the eccentric disk in FIG. 3. The arrow pointing vertically downwards (against the leg 16) indicates the current switch position.
In FIG. 3, the switch position 0 is thus set, which can also be seen from FIG. 2, which shows the contact 4 outside the springs 5 .
By turning the control button (Fig. 5), which is firmly seated on the shaft 2, the eccentric disk 14 is in the positions 1, 2, 3, 4 and 0 , whereby the U-shaped bracket with the legs 16 and 17 is more or less pivoted. Position 1 corresponds to the closed position with horizontal legs 16 and 17 and position 4 corresponds to the greatest possible inclination of the legs 16 </ B> and 17. In the position 0 the contacts 4 and 4 'are out of connection with the contacts 5 and 5' < / B> brought.
The Sehaltund the resistors R1, R2 is of course not essential for the basic functioning of the regulating device. The contact 12, 12 'could control the entire power consumer. The regulating device described can be installed in the primary circuit for low-voltage power consumption or for switching larger currents or voltages kn in auxiliary circuits.
