Fig. 2 zeigt eine solche Anordnung im Seitenriss.
Magnetic sound recording and reproducing device. The invention relates to a magnetic sound recording and playback device with a band-shaped, flexible Tonträ ger, which is unwound from a reel and wound onto another and in between via guide means on a sound head, an erase head and a constant speed driven synchronizing cylinder is passed over .
This subject of the invention forming magnetic sound recording and playback device is characterized in that the synchronizing cylinder has a maximum diameter of 5 mm and a speed of at least 350 revolutions per minute, and also characterized by means which automatic cal control processes in the Establish effect.
These control means can have a limit switch device which is set in such a way that the winding process is automatically terminated if desired before the sound carrier is completely unwound from the reel from which it is running. This enables the sound carrier to be rewound quickly and easily without losing any time, without having to re-anchor its end in the reel from which it was unwound.
On the accompanying drawings from exemplary embodiments of the subject invention are shown.
Fig. 1 schematically shows a magnetic sound recording and reproducing apparatus. Fig. 2 shows a partial view of a variant of the apparatus according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows the top view of part of a variant of FIG. 1, FIG. 4 shows an enlarged longitudinal section through a synchronous cylinder device, FIG. 5 shows the top view of the arrangement Fig. 4, on a smaller scale,
and FIG. 6 shows a plan view according to arrows 4-4 in FIG. 4.
In Fig. 1, the sound carrier 31 has the shape of a flexible tape, which in the acquisition and playback of a Maga zinrolle 20 via a guide roller 26, a Lösehkopf 27, a sound head 29, a constant speed rotating spindle, that is the synchronizing cylinder 32, and another roll 26 is wound onto a take-up spool 21.
The coils 21 and 20 can, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, be of execution. They have a central hub 21 a or 20 a and an annular space 37 for receiving the sound carrier, which by the at. Disks 40 and 41 and the coil base 43 is limited. The forward winding of the sound carrier 31 is done by rotating the take-up reel 21 in the counterclockwise direction (arrow F, Fig. 1). The sound carrier is unwound from the reel 20 and wound onto the reel 21.
In a corresponding manner, it can be wound back onto the magazine reel 20 by driving it clockwise (arrow D, FIG. 1). The reel disks 40 and 41 are provided with three radial slots 45, which extend from the outer edge inwards to beyond the reel base 43. In the central part 20a, 21a of the bobbins, an opening 50 is provided which receives the bobbin axis 52 with which the bobbin can be rotated.
The hub of the reel also has one or more additional openings 54 for receiving a driver 56. The radial slots 45 are useful in anchoring the ends of the sound carrier.
The space between the disks 40 and 41 can be relatively narrow, on the order of 6 minutes, the Tonträ ger being wide enough to achieve excellent reproduction. The inner parts of the slots 45 also serve to let in a sensing finger 60 of a lever 267 of a limit switch arrangement.
The tape reels 20, 21 each rest on a reel carrier 262, which is firmly seated on the relevant axis 52 and has the shape of a plate with an upwardly bent edge 63 on which the reels rest. The axes 52 are displaceable in their bearings 65 in the longitudinal direction. The bearings 65 in turn are held by a fixed plate 268.
Pulleys 269 and 270 are rotatably pushed onto the axles 52, are supported on one of the bearings 65 and are each provided with a friction ring 271, so that when axles 52 are shifted upwards, the supports 262 of one of the pulleys 269, 270 decoupled (Fig. 1) and on the other hand can be coupled via the ring 271 with the associated pulley. The axles 52 are shown in the raised position in FIG. 1, so that they do not sit on the parts 273 shown in the lower position.
A spring base 273 is mounted under the lower ends of each axle 52 and fits into a cutout 277 of a slide 275 or 276 and is pressed against it by its own spring force. The slides 275, 276 slide in guides and are arranged in such a way that, depending on their position, the spring base 273 separates from the axis 52 or moves it upwards. The axis 52 is loaded in the downward direction, for example by the weight of the parts sitting on it, and when the spring 273 is cut in from 277, the carrier 262 via the friction ring 271 with the pulley kup pelt or with upwardly latched Spring base 273 is separated from this disc.
The feeler 60 is narrow enough that it slips through the slots 45 and is in contact with the internal, nerve turns of the sound carrier wound on the reel.
The sensor 60 sits at one end of the lever 267, which is rotatably mounted in the wall 63 of the Trä gers 262 and pushes it through the weight of the other arm of the lever 267 in the direction of the coil, that is, upwards. Only a small amount of pressure is necessary and applicable, especially if the sound carrier consists of a paper or plastic tape on which a layer of permanently magnetizable particles sits. The outer end of the lever 267 has a downwardly directed tongue 281 with a sloping, lower edge 284 and a vertically falling edge 283. Below the tongue 281 is a limit switch lever 287 or
288 mounted rotatably about axis 282, which has a horizontal arm 289. The arm 289 and tongue 281 are adjusted so that the upward movement of the sensor 60 causes the limit switch lever 267 to tilt. Rotation of the carrier 262 and the spool 20 in the forward direction (counterclockwise direction according to the figure), with the tongue lowered, will bring the vertical edge 283 into engagement with the arm 289 and rotate it about its bearing. When the spool 20 rotates in the return direction, the inclined surface 284 hops over the arm 289 without rotating it and triggering the limit switch.
Corresponding links assigned to the take-up roller 21 work in a corresponding manner, with the difference that the vertical front side 283 of the tongue 281 is arranged in such a way that the switching lever 288 can only be operated when the spool 21 is rotating in the rewinding direction.
The axes 52 are driven by a motor 291 via a crossed belt 293 of a pulley 292 via the belt pulleys 269, 270 in opposite directions of rotation. The synchronizing cylinder device comprises a motor 203 running at constant speed, which directly drives the thin synchronizing cylinder 32 on which a flywheel 91 is seated. The sound carrier can be pressed against the synchronous cylinder 32 by means of the friction roller 205, which sits on the arm 206. This arm is pulled into its rest position by spring force and can be operated automatically in the manner described below.
Corresponding pressing means 207 and 208 for the tape 31 are used to keep the sound carrier in uniform, stable, magnetic contact with the pole faces of the respective magnetic cores of the heads 27, 29. The illustrated control device for the winding mechanism consists of the push buttons 211, 212, 213, 214 and 215, wel che sit on longitudinally displaceable rods which are held in guides so that they are between an inner working position, in which the stop button 215 is shown, and an outer rest position, in which the buttons are shown on the other, can be moved.
The push buttons are pressed by springs 216 in their rest position. A spring-loaded pawl slide over 217 has seats in which the switching rods slide and in which the cams 218 seated on the rods engage in order to keep the pressed rods in their working position i. As a result, the entire push-button switch combination is interlocked in such a way that pressing a push-button automatically triggers every button that has already been pressed and brings it to its rest position.
The organs connected with the push buttons trigger the following operations
EMI0003.0013
<SEP> operation push button
<tb> 211 <SEP> Fast forward
<tb> 212 <SEP> Fast forward
<tb> 213 <SEP> rewind
<tb> 214 <SEP> recording
<tb> 215 <SEP> Stop By switching on the button 212, a lever 223 is actuated once, which pulls a toggle lever 233 via a connection 227, shifts the slide 275 to the right, latches the spring base 273 upwards, which the axis 52 of the Magazine roll 20 moves upwards and the disc 262 lifts off the friction ring 271, that is to say uncoupled.
At the same time, the sound carrier 31 is pressed against the sound head 29 via a spring 225, the lever 206 is pivoted by means of a lever 224 and the sound carrier is pressed against the synchronizing cylinder by the friction roller 205. The motors are switched on in the order 203, 291 by a contact group 226 from the contacts 228, 229, that is to say connected to the network 1P-2P. The sound carrier 31 is now transported forwards at a constant speed, meaning from 20 to 21.
The torque of the motor 291, which drives the take-up reel 21 via the friction clutch 271J262, should only be so great that it just takes the sound carrier delivered by the synchronizing cylinder, but in no case the static friction of the sound carrier between synchronizing cylinder 32 and friction roller 205 can overcome.
When you turn on the button 211 (fast forward) the coil 20 is lifted and disengaged from the pulley 269 via the toggle lever 233, the slide 275, the spring base 273 and the axis 52 from the belt. It is assumed that the connection 227 is slack and only reacts to tension. At the same time, only the motor 291 is switched on by a contact 231.
Since the pushbutton 212 is in the rest position, the tape pressure means 205, 207, 208 are lifted and the sound carrier moves more or less unhindered with minimal friction and maximum speed, about 30 times faster than when it is synchronized cylinder 32 and friction roller 205 is passed through.
When the button 213 is switched on (reverse winding), the slide 276 is moved via a lever 235, the take-up roller 21 is lifted and uncoupled by its axis 52 and, at the same time, the motor 291 is switched on via a contact 234 and the rapid return of the sound carrier when the contact pressure is lifted means 205, 207, 208 initiated.
When the button 214 is switched on (recording on) the sound carrier 31 is pressed against the delete button 27 via a lever. The water button is also combined with switches, which are not shown in this figure and which fit for the recording to establish electrical connections between the electrical recording devices, where the latter can be switched to playback in the rest position of the button 214. When taking a picture, buttons 212 and 214 must be switched on at the same time.
With the button 216 (stop) the latch slide 217 is triggered by means of its cam 218 and buttons in engagement are brought into the rest position. The button 216 can be combined as desired with contacts which e.g. B. Turn off Netzspan nimgszuleitungen, including those of the oscillator and the amplifier.
The limit switch devices shown, which automatically end the winding process as soon as it has reached a predetermined stage, are constructed in such a way that none of their elements is located along the sound carrier path, as is the case with older apparatuses. The limit switch devices react to the amount of sound carrier present on the reels without the need for special manipulations of the sound carrier, the reels or any other part of the apparatus.
A reel with a wound-up sound carrier is simply placed in its holder, the sound carrier drawn in along a simple path, that is to say without loops, and anchored to the reel on the opposite holder.
It is assumed that the sound carrier is to be wound up either quickly or slowly forwards. By placing a fully wound magazine roll on the carrier 262, the inner turns of the sound carrier detect the sensor 60 and press it downwards so that the outer end 281 of the lever 267 is raised above the height of the arm 289. The lever 267 is in relation to the nut 56 and the holes in the coils are angeord net such that the sensor comes under the inner end of a slot 45 to lie.
When the sound carrier has been unwound so far that the coils in contact with the sensor are removed, the latter moves upwards, the opposite end of the lever 267 lowers and the surface 283 comes into engagement with the switching arm 289 and rotates the same, whereby a toggle lever 219 is pivoted via a connecting link 221 and the slide 217 is moved to the right, all pushbuttons that may be engaged automatically jump into the rest position and the winding process is switched off.
The triggering of the limit switch device for each coil is set up in such a way that it does not respond as soon as it is wound onto the corresponding sink, in that in this case the inclined surface 283 of the lip 281 jumps over the arm 289 without actuating it. As shown in Fig. 1, the triggering in the take-up reel 21 we sentlichen the same as for the magazine reel 20, with the difference that it responds to me when the sound carrier is returned.
The sensors 60 can also be arranged so that they can be adjusted in any desired manner along a coil radius, that is to say along a slot 45, so that they respond to the unwinding of a desired, predetermined amount of the clay carrier. The sensor 60 of the maga zinspule 20 can, for. B. be set so that it responds shortly before the sound carrier is completely unwound. This saves you having to retract the sound carrier and anchor it in the magazine reel for rewinding.
On the other hand, it is usually not desirable for the beginning of the sound carrier to remain anchored in the take-up reel 21 after rewinding has taken place for a new playback, but rather it should be completely wound onto the magazine reel 20. However, since the take-up reel 21 rotates much faster when rewinding than is the case for the magazine reel for slow forward, the corresponding sensor can practically be at almost the same place as that of the magazine reel, which at the same time it is enough,
that when rewinding the last sound carrier windings, the take-up reel is already braked by the friction ring 271 and the free end after the sound carrier has been completely unwound cannot be knocked around and damaged by a rapidly running magazine roll.
The sensors can also be arranged in such a way, at least for the take-up reel 21, that they only respond to the complete empty winding. Fig. 2 shows such an arrangement in side elevation. As soon as the sound carrier has been completely unwound from the reel 21, a lever end 366 moves radially outward, the tongue 381 lowers and actuates the lever 288 in the manner described.
In other arrangements, the organs of the limit switch device and the control switch are mechanically connected in such a way that the return is automatically initiated by the termination of the forward winding. For this purpose, it is only necessary, for example, to connect the lever 287 to the axis of the return pushbutton 213 instead of the slide 217, so that when the lever 287 is released, the button 213 is pulled into its working position. To make this control even safer, relays can also be seen.
Another satisfactorily working solution is obtained when using a step control spring which is fastened at one end to the axis of the return button 213, while the other end is connected to the axis of the forward button 212 in such a way that when it is pressed in this spring is tensioned and latched and the return button 213 pulls inwards against the latch slide 217, which, however, temporarily prevents him from following the spring pull.
As soon as the pawl slide is moved by the lever 287 when the limit switch is triggered, the stepped sequence spring can pull the return button 213 into its working position, and the spring is released again. As a result, the return is automatically initiated and the control apparatus for terminating the return is made available after the Füh associated with the magazine reel has responded. In another variant, the sequential spring is loaded by actuating the recording button 214 instead of actuating the advance button 212.
In a further variant, the axis of the forward push button 212 is provided with a second ratchet slide, which holds it in a second inner working position. This axis can now be interlocked with the control in such a way that the slow advance corresponds to the inner working position and the return corresponds to the intermediate position. The forward limit switch release is then connected in such a way that it pulls the second ratchet rail and thus releases the axle from its innermost position and enables it to retract into the intermediate position.
In a further variant, the winding control devices can have a rotatable scale with different control positions, which scale with a set of heart wheels for actuating the various control elements as well as the clutch slides 275, 276, the motor switches and the contact elements 205, 207 and 208 is combined. With such a construction, the final control release levers only need to be connected in such a way that they turn the scale into the desired positions.
3 shows reels which, in addition to the radial slots 45, have additional arcuate slots 47 for the purpose of reducing their weight, whereby the wound sound carrier is also more clearly visible. The drive axes 52, each of which can be driven by a separate motor, are each provided with a table 62 on which the attached coils 20, 21 rest and on which the drivers 56 are attached. The free space between the two coils is covered by plates drawn in with dash-dotted lines, which only leave the sound carrier path free so that the sound carrier can automatically only be drawn in in the correct manner.
During the acquisition, the tape is pressed through the felt pads 82 and 83 against the erasing head 27 and the audio head 29; at the same time the tape is pressed against the spindle 32 by the roller 84.
4, 5 and 6 show the synchronous cylinder arrangement, which determines the constant Ge speed of the sound carrier. The synchronizing cylinder 32 itself is thin and be seated a diameter of at most 5 mm; with direct drive by the relatively fast running, that is, a speed of at least 350 T / min owning motor 203 he keeps the spindle 32 the correct speed, so that expensive and extensive precision parts, which were necessary in conventional designs to the speed of the synchronous cylinder motor to that of a synchronous cylinder with a diameter customary to this day to reduce, omitted. So z.
B. used a synchronous cylinder with a diameter of about 1; 9 mm and driven with a motor of 1800 T / min without any reduction. To support the synchronous cylinder, a bearing 93 is available. This is provided with a shallow groove, which can be arcuate or V-shaped in cross section, as shown at 240, and which supports the thin synchronizing cylinder 32 on the largest part of its length. The bearing 93 is made from any of the known self-lubricating materials.
During recording or playback, the sound carrier 31 is pressed against the synchronizing cylinder 32 by the friction roller 205, which has a slightly elastic upper surface, as shown in FIG. 5, and is carried along at a constant speed. The roller 205 touches the synchronizing cylinder 32 in an area which lies behind that in which the sound carrier first comes into contact with the synchronizing cylinder.
Accordingly, the sound carrier is first drawn around part of the synchronizing cylinder before it is pressed between the friction roller and the synchronizing cylinder. This can also be seen from FIG. 5. This arrangement helps to prevent the sound carrier 31 from running away up or down as it passes along the synchronizing cylinder 32, which could otherwise take place with the slightest irregularities in the friction drive.
In some previous designs, this wandering can even be seen, despite the fact that the pressing surfaces are carefully and precisely aligned with one another.
A flange 241, in which the synchronizing cylinder is supported at 242, also belongs to the bearing 93. To further support the synchronizing cylinder, there is also a retaining strap 244 (there can also be several). The synchronizing cylinder, the speed of which is at least 350 T / min, is directly coupled to the motor 203 at its un tern end via a coupling axis 243 and a flexible coupling member 109 in the form of a short piece of rubber pipe. The coupling axis 243 also carries the flywheel 91, which compensates for any irregularities that may still occur in the drive.
To further improve the construction, the flywheel can be dynamically balanced in a simple manner by making it from a plurality of discs 103, each of which by identical operations, such as, for. B. punching from sheet metal is made and all identical places are provided with a brand or number. It is now sufficient to arrange the disks before their final fixation in such a way that these marks are evenly distributed over the periphery of the flywheel.
In Fig. 8 a flywheel is shown, which consists of three Sehei ben 103, which are held together with the hub 102 pressed onto the axis 243 by three rivets 105, each disc has a marking 121 and the flywheel is composed such that it three brands spaced 1200 apart over the circumference. are. Due to the relatively high speed of the synchronizing cylinder, a much lighter flywheel can be used compared to previous designs.
