1 schneller laufen. Diesen beweglichen Walzen ist je eine in Fig.l in der Abwicklung dargestellte feste Walze<B><U>A..,</U></B> B_, C., D., E, gegenüber. Diese tragen am Umfang verteilt je 10 Kontaktpunkte a." bis<I>a</I> .", <I>b"</I> bis<I>b,,</I> usw. entsprechend den Ziffern 0 bis 9.
I>A, B</I><B>...</B><I>E</I> leitend verbunden.
<I>-</I> a., b. - b,, <B>...</B> auf den fest stehenden Walzen A2, Bz . . :
Die Reihe der Kon taktpunkte JI" <I>A, . .
Method and device for the automatic recording of the displays of counters. The present invention of Mr. dipl. Ing. Werner Hausammann concerns. a process and a device for the self-active Aufsehreib- the displays of counters.
According to your inventive method, the counter displays are scanned by means of con tact organs and electronically transfer to a Sehreibvorriehtnng a Nio- toriselr driven Sehreibniaschine over, the additional means for the electromagnetic actuation of the buttons and circuits, z.
B. has space and line connections of this machine. This basic idea makes it possible to use a largely developed motor-driven typing machine to solve the task of automatic logging of counter displays, to which the attachment,
--ung- of electromagnets for the remote control of the buttons is provided. There then remains the task of controlling such a machine, which is to be regarded as given, by using suitable means from the counter units.
The typewriter can be combined with a large number of counters. In addition to logging the counter displays, the machine can also record further notes, which are then written down as usual. -.1-lan can get a large number of copies of the log. The machine can be set up at any distance from the counter units.
Compared to known so-called printing works, there are thus significant advantages, with the saving in space and costs also being taken into account.
A preferred embodiment of the method according to the invention is described below with reference to the drawing. Show it:
Fig.1. the circuit diagram, Fi-. 2 a button equipped with an electromagnet, FIG. 3 schematically an additional sliding device, FIG. 4 a L msehaltvorrichtung, Fig.: 5 the construction of the counter rollers.
Each dialing device to be connected to the typing machine has (assuming five-digit numbers) five movable rollers or number rollers A, B, <I> C, D, </I> E, with <1 being the highest, E being the lowest corresponds, so the rollers (assuming the decadal system) each in a ratio of 10:
1 run faster. Opposite these movable rollers is a fixed roller, shown in the development in FIG. 1, B, C., D., E. These have 10 contact points distributed around the circumference a. "To <I> a </I>.", <I> b "</I> to <I> b ,, </I> etc. corresponding to the numbers 0 to 9.
Each movable roller has a single contact point a, respectively. b <B> ... </B> e. 5 shows the roller Bz held in the frame with its contact points b, to b ,,. Opposite it is the movable roller B with its only contact point b. This latter is connected to the slip ring 140 in directing.
Current is supplied to it via the line 114 when the slide h 'is in contact with the contact point B 1 on the pulse disk <I> I </I>. The movable roller B is driven by the counter by means of the gear 141.
Each contact point a, resp. b <B> ... </B> e of the movable roller is in contact with one of the ten contact points of the assigned fixed roller, depending on the counter circuit. Contact points A "B,... E, are attached to a fixed impulse disc set up at any distance from the counting rollers; they are connected to the corresponding movable rollers <I> A, B </I> <B> ... </ B> <I> E </I> conductively connected A slide I 'is attached to the impulse disc so that it can rotate about axis II.
Depending on its position, it is in a conductive connection with one or none of the contact points A "Bi <B> ... </B> E.
X is the part of the key register of the electric typewriter, which has the keys for the 10 digits 0 to 9, the minus sign -, the tab T, the comma and R for the carriage return. In Fig. 2, for. B. the button for the number 4 is shown with its lever 54, an eyelet 64 in which the pin 84 of the magnetic core 74 engages. 94 is the magnet coil with its ends 14 and 101. The latter is permanently connected to the current source Q, the former is switched on or not depending on the position of the entire device in the circuit.
Between the contact points a, <I> - </I> ao, the fixed rollers A2, B_ .. and the magnetic coils of the 10 digit remote keys, a ten-fold double switch is placed in connections 10 to 19, which consists of the 10 individual switches 20 to 29 and the 10 individual switches 30 to 39. The double switch is under the influence of two magnetic relays P and D72 with their coils P and 111. If P receives a current surge, the 10 switches 20 to 29 are closed and 30 to 39 are opened.
If, on the other hand, 11I receives a power surge, the setting is reversed.
The connections between the contacts score a. <I> - </I> a., B. - b ,, <B> ... </B> on the stationary rollers A2, Bz. . :
and play the magnet The 10 number keys are so that when the switches \ 30 to 29 are in the closed position, the contact points a. - b "bo <I> - </I> b9 <B> ... </B> with the magnetic coil each with a digit key, with the opposite position of the double switch connected to the coil of the key, the digit of which is the complement to 9 forms.
The control of the double switch is used. the following device: A changeover switch IV - U (FIG. 4), consisting of a driven movable part W and a fixed part U, has a part m and a part p on the movable part W. The Ge threaded spindle 130 is driven by means of the bevel gear 131 from the associated counter.
On this threaded spindle 130, part W moves as a nut. When this nut, with respect to the fixed contact U, reaches the position where the transition from part <I> p </I> to part <I> m </I> takes place , the switch from plus to 1Nlinus and vice versa is complete. ni is conductively connected via 104 to a contact point DIi, which is attached to the pulse disk L in front of the row of contact points A "B,....
U is connected through 105 via the coil D7 of the relay II. @ Through 106 via the coil of the magnet of the minus key of the typewriter through 101 to the power source Q. At the end of the series of contact points Al, B, <I>. . . </I> E, on the pulse disk L there is a contact point P, which is connected to the power source Q through 102 via the coil P of the relay P through 103.
For example, between Cl and Dl, a contact point E is placed on the pulse disk <I> L </I>; it is connected to the power source Q via the magnetic coil of the comma key of the typewriter. At the end of the row of all contact points that are assigned to one of the counters on the pulse disk L, there is a contact point T ″ which is connected to the current source Q through 107 via the coil of the tabulator key of the typewriter through 101.
The series of contact points JI "<I> A,... </I> P" <I> T, </I> is repeated on the pulse disc as many times as counters are connected.
behind the last row of contact points is a contact point R, which is connected by <B> 108 </B> via the coil of the key R for the line circuit of the typewriter through 101 to the power source Q.
For the actuation of the scanning of the contact points on the pulse disk by the Sehfeber F, the following device is seen: The slide F is driven by an electric motor V. This is on the one hand permanently connected to the power source Q through 1.11, while on the other hand it is cut off from the power source or connected to it through 110, depending on the position of the switch S. The switch S is under the influence of a relay Z, with a coil Z.
On the one hand, this is constantly over 110. the current source Q connected, on the other hand, a line 109 leads to a contact point. Z "which is located on the pulse disk L behind the contact point R for the line circuit #. A push button J allows the switch S to be closed by hand, whether the coil of the relay is carrying current or not.
The writing process is as follows: We start with the position of the first counter shown in the drawing, which is on the positive side in the example, that is, a number above zero or just about zero. Accordingly, the closed position shown also applies Position of the switches 20 to 29. The starting position for the writing process is the position of the slide F on your contact point Z (as will be demonstrated on the Sehlusse).
The current flow is closed through the slide F via contact point Z, through the coil Z; the energized relay Z holds the switch, S open; 1AIotor V and slide F are at rest. By pressing button J, switch S is closed against the action of the relay; the motor and the Sehfeber begin to run in the direction of the arrow C. First the slide leaves the contact point Z,; the coil of the relay 7 is de-energized and the switch remains closed even if the button J is released.
Now F first comes into contact with JI; but since the reverser h-1V is on the positive side, results. see no surge on relay 3I ,; the position of the double switch remains unchanged; no minus sign is written either. Now the numbers 2, 7, 4, the comma and the numbers 5, 8 are written one after the other, i.e. 274, 58.
For example, for the number 7 in the second place, the current flow goes from the source Q through 111, 11.2 to the slide F, from this to the contact point B ', through 11-1 to the movable roller B, via its contact point b to the Contact point b; the fixed roller <U> B.>, </U> through line 1.7, individual switch 27 and line 47 to the coil 94 of the button for Zif fer 7 and through line <B> 101 </B> back to Q. The Touching the Sehfebers F with the con tact point P has no effect; the double switch remains in the same position.
If F comes to T, then the tab key is pressed; the typewriter is ready to record the result of the second counter on the same line with the desired space. The process repeats until the result of the last counter is recorded. Then, by touching F with R, you press the line key of the typewriter. The subsequent contact of F with Z, closes the circuit through the coil Z of the relay Z,; the switch S is opened; the motor V stands still. The writing process remains interrupted until the next press of the J button.
However, if a counter has now exceeded zero in the direction of the negative side, and if the uniswitch WU has established the connection between 105 and 104, then when F touches JI, a current surge is applied to coil J1 of relay J1 = given; the switch is operated in such a way that 20 to 29 are opened, but 30 to 39 are closed.
The complement numbers are written accordingly. After the last number, however, Ir 'comes to stand at P1, which means that positive writing is set as the starting position for the next counter. This remains in place unless the next counter also shows a negative result.
In the case of the counters, the rollers in the higher positions usually have a very specific position, so that no difficulties arise with regard to the formation of clear contact between the contact points of the fixed and movable rollers, and therefore no special measures are required.
The moving roller for the lowest value usually does not make a step-by-step, but a continuous movement, so it could happen that the contact point of the moving roller does not come into contact with any contact pimb-t of the associated fixed roller.
(A simultaneous contact of two points of the fixed roller must of course be avoided in order to make it impossible to hit two digits at the same time.) In Fig. 3 an additional device is shown schematically, which ensures correct writing of the lowest digit position: E. ; is the fixed, E the moving roller for the lowest priority. On E, one recognizes z. B. the contact points e ;, es and e ,. E has the contact point e.
E also carries spikes i, which are placed in the same pitch as the contact points e "to e9 on the roller E. Opposite one of the contact points e" to e, the core 119 of an electromagnet with the coil 118 is through the lines 120, 121 connected in parallel to the electric motor V.
When the motor is energized, that is, when the process of writing is started, the electromagnet is excited; this has the consequence that the movable disk E is pulled into the suitable position for perfect contact formation, to which this roller was initially closer. When the writing process is completed, the coil 118 is de-energized again and the magnetic core has no effect.
In terms of the design, the prongs i can of course be attached in any form at any point on the shaft driving the counting mechanism rollers. The structural design of the various elements from which the device according to the invention is composed is of no essential importance for the invention. Extensions could also come into consideration, for example in the sense that more counter displays would be recorded during a writing process than could fit on one line of the typewriter.
Based on the present general solution, the way for such an expansion is shown.
The push button J for the initiation of the write process can be done in any way and starting from any impulse itself, z. B. from a clockwork.
There are safety and alarm devices in connection with the device described conceivable. In some applications there are only positive indications from the counters, and the facilities for alternative writing can nega. tive values are no longer applicable. Even in the case of positive and negative indicators, one could, accepting certain inconveniences, refrain from writing negative values directly by not using the number 0 as the zero or starting position, but z. B. dialed about 500.00. The displays above would be positive less than 500.00, those below that would be negative, the complement to 500.00. It would be conceivable to switch on a different ribbon on the typewriter depending on the sign.
The field of application for the invention is diverse. The logging of the display of scales, piece counters and volumetric meters is particularly suitable.
