The front handle 1 of the iSteeker has a switch nose 5 which-. has a contact head 6 bent on both sides, the lower part of which is provided with two laterally inserted contact parts 7 which are electrically separated from one another.
The latter are connected to the contact clamps 9 by two separate conductors 8 . 10 are two lateral guide scales of the SchaJtna; s # e # and 11 a> thickened area with a colored coating. On both sides of the shaft nose 5 there is a protrusion 12 on the front connector damage each . 13 this is in the hollow space 3 </ B> of the connector, the connector cable whose conductors are connected to terminals 9 .
The SteGl-, d-ise has a cylindrical can body 14, which has a fla, nse, left 15 at the front and at the top and bottom of 4 fl, parts adjoining itself, 16 an external thread, which at the same time serves as a guide against rotation of the plug-in nozzle in the receiving bore - a dashboard B (Fig. 5).
For this purpose, the hole for receiving the socket has two cutouts on the circumference for the threaded parts 16 to engage. The socket inserted into the hole in the damage board B is secured on the rear side by a üu, 2 the Cewinde 16 au # geschraublef1 GewinderEag 17 . The socket has a contact opening 1, 8 which is open towards the front and which has a rectangular cross section (FIG. 4).
The front end of the S! Ph.a; Itna, s, ei 5 is also rectangular (Fig. 13), but essential. smaller cross-section than the contact opening 18, wherein the width of this Sehalinz, senendes is approximately the same as that of the opening 18, but the height of the Solialt nose end is significantly smaller than the height of the opening is 118.
This contact opening is used to introduce the switching nose 5 of the steaker. The opening 18 has a mouth widening 19 at the top for receiving the thickening 11 of the retaining nose. The lower part of the flange 15 is provided with a recess 20, the base of which forms an oichie surface 20a.
On the front side of the flap 15 , at half the height of the recess 18 , two bearings 21 are provided for the engagement of the projections 12 of the plug. In the upper half of the socket body 14, there are two symmetricals in relation to the vertical center plane, extending into the contact opening 18 :
openings 22 are present, in which two into the opening 18 protruding contour pieces 23 are mounted. On the back of the inner end of the contact pieces 23 a leaf spring 24 is attached, which protrudes from the front end of the contact pieces.
On the contact pieces 2-3 the axes 25 are provided, which are mounted in corresponding openings in the rear face of the Diotslen body, 14 and around before a pivoting of the contact pieces 23 is possible.
The front end of the contact spring 24 protruding from the contact piece engages in a recess 15a on the inside of the flange 15, while the front end of the contact piece 23 around the Axis 25 can be pushed back swinging against the leaf spring, with the spring being bent.
The rear ends of the contact pieces are designed as terminals, with the ends of the wires to be inserted into the outlet casing 26 being able to be clamped. which are accessible through guides 28 ; the latter have an elongated cross-section corresponding to the S (, # li, wenlzba # rk-eit of the contact pieces.
The screws 27 also secure the position of the contact door in the recesses 22. The front ends of the contact pieces have inwardly directed insulating heads 29, while the 30 necks behind the heads serve as contact points. The is, olieir, 1-, heads 29 of the contact pieces na, r, h have sloping surfaces 31 directed downwards, against which the head 6 when the plug is inserted the Schältnaze, bumps.
The plug is inserted with the switch nose 5 into the lower part of the contact opening 18 , with the front ends 29 of the contact pieces 23 tduroli the head 6 of the switching nose against the action of the leaf springs 24 are pressed apart and with the plugged-in position, Fig. 11, fall behind the head 6 of the switching nose and the steak:
It is spring-locked by the insulating heads 29 reaching behind the head 6 of the switching nose, which head 6 is then located in the lower part of the shell, 'is located. In this position the contacts are in the interruption position and the, Si, -naIflä, ohe 11 is invisible.
If the contacts are to be closed, then pressure is exerted on the lower part of the plug, which causes the plug to pivot about the projections 12 from the position according to FIG. 11 to the incline according to FIG. 12 , be effective.
As a result, the front ends of the contact pieces 23 are pressed together and the contact surfaces 7 of the switching nose head which is now in the upper part of the opening 18 6 onto the contact surfaces 30 of the contact pieces.
At the same time, the colored part 11 of the plug protruding from the mouth widening 19 of the socket through the Verscliwenkun "r appears as an optical signal that the switch is switched on. The appearance of the The switch is effected by pressing the upper part of the stoker, i.e. by pulling the StBGkerg back into the position according to FIG. 11.
In this position it can be aimed out at the can, while in the position according to FIG. 12 it is prevented from being pulled out of the can by the insulating heads 29 attacking the head 6 B> is secured.
The described steeker can be connected to an electrical apparatus or device, provided the same. is suitable for a combination with a plug. This applies e.g. B. for a battery tester, as shown in Figr. 14 and 15 verans # elia-ulie, ht is. Here 32 is the test device that is attached to the connector 1 . The measuring range of the test device is from 0-18 volts.
The plug acts here as a switch, for which the head 6 of the S, ch, a # ltnase has a wedge-shaped tapered cross-section at the top, Fig. 16, and the contact pieces, < B> 7 sit on the broad lowest part of the head.
Due to the wedge-shaped formation of the head 6 , when the steeker is turned, from the position in Fig. 11 to the position shown in Fig. 12, the VoT, The ends of the contact pieces 23 are pressed slowly apart and the contact closes at the end of the movement.
When the pressure against the lower end of the plug is released, the springy pressure of the conal, -tstü # e, ke 23 against the wedge surfaces of the switch nose head 6 </ B> the plug is swiveled back into the starting position in Fig. 11.
The contact gate only lasts as long as pressure is exerted on the socket part of the plug. The reading of the battery meter C takes place the first time when the Balterie is unloaded and a second time while the starter is activated.
These measurements provide information about the latde state. If the instrument pointer falls below a certain limit, which is marked on the scale, the battery must be drained.
The described contact penetration ka, nn for Schwaehstrüm or iStarkstrüm. be built.
