Body that can be wound and unwound. Cif -,), resulting from the present invention, L, t # is a body that can be wound and unwound, characterized.
that it has two rows of links, of which at least the one row is articulated with one another so that they form a chain, with one link of the row belonging to one link of the row, the whole in such a way that 1) uiiii. Unwind the links of one row p-z # compared to those of the other row in # n t # 441u, -, so that the position can be brought,
that a, # larrf, unity arises and vice versa. The building-eiide drawing shows some of the filling examples of the subject matter of the invention.
Fiv. 1 is a side view of a first of which the figure -) shows details.
FIGS. 3 and 4 show variants of this (, i-sleii embodiment.
Fig. 5 is. a longitudinal section of another and 6 a section along the line VI-VI through Fil, l, -. 1-3.
In the exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 1 and 22 left, two chains K and Ki, which are connected by two rows of links a, articulated by means of bolts c and ei, are b and al and /) i "1" e can be formed.
In the illustration shown, these two chains are each partially% vi # i, # free. ending, so that they can be supplied in one container, partly interlocked.
The links of the Ix-g # ltc- K 1) esiizen ternary-tail-like extensions d, the extensions di similar to the chain Ki. During unwinding, the extensions d are taken from the extensions, di, in the pliers and vice versa.
So that this can take place, both chains must approach each other at a certain angle so that the pincers z and zi open by bending the two chains and close again over the extensions di and d. The chains are expediently passed through between transport drums g, gi and a guide f . When unwound, the two chains form a unit that is rigid in all directions, in the present case a bar. The one ends of the chains are expediently connected to one another by links h.
By changing the cross-section of the links a, b and ai, bi , the cross-section of the beam can be changed as desired. The unit can easily be released again by rewinding.
FIGS. 3 and 4 show how the links of several chain elements (in the present case, there are two) can be connected to one another to form strands by means of cross links, for example by each </ B > one or two plates i undilor through the appropriately lengthened hinge pins c2. In this way, two-dimensional and spatial structures such as trusses, ladders, walls, gates, barriers, bridge elements can be unwound and rewound after use, for example for transport.
In the filling example of Figs. 6 and 5 only the links of the a-rail are articulated to one another by means of bolts c. In these roller-shaped links, the tubular links of the b-row are displaceable in the longitudinal direction, and each a-link has a b-link of track rather length.
Each link a has a longitudinal recess m through which protrudes ei # extension n of the associated b-link. When unwinding from a bobbin e, the links are expediently passed through a guide which is provided with a groove or the like for the passage of the extensions n, in order to align them with one another.
Afterwards, n grippers o attack these extensions, which belong to an endless belt p which runs over drums q; beini Un- and when winding the chain a and the adjacent strand of the Ban des p run in the same sense.
However, the tape runs faster than the chain during unwinding, with the grippers o pushing the extensions n in front of them. During the duration of an intervention, the corresponding link b is sometimes pushed out of an a-link into the next front a-link, so that the a- and b-links one in all directions rigid unity. When winding the tape p runs so much slower than the chain or the inlet,
that during the duration of an engagement of a gripper o with an extension n, the b-member belonging to the extension n is completely withdrawn into the associated a-member. Both the a and the b members form a cone, as shown in FIG. 5, for the purpose of facilitating the relative displacement. In this case, too, the links can have a different cross section than the one shown and two or more pairs of rows can be combined with one another.
In this way, structures to be supplied, such as masts, pipes, barriers, can be rewound in a small space and used again, be it for transport or for supply.
