Description
Running stain for shoes. The invention relates to a tread for shoes, in which an insert made of wear-resistant material embedded in an elastic heel plate is provided than that of the heel plate. This insert is formed in a two-cornered manner in such a way that both edges can be used by rotating the same.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in a view and in cross section.
The running stain shown consists of a plate 1 made of rubber, synthetic rubber, etc., which has a recess 2 in which an insert made of metal, leather, leather substitute or some other suitable replacement material is inserted and optionally glued. Each insert is provided with holes through which the nails can be driven> through which the tread can be attached to the heel.
The illustrated embodiment shows a two-cornered metal insert 26 provided with ribs, which is let into the plate 1. The insert has a rear curved edge 28, the shape of which corresponds exactly to the edge 28 '. It is therefore possible for the piece 26 to be rotated by 180 such that the not yet worn edge 28 comes to lie on the outside at the location of the edge 28 ', the same ribbed running surface always being used.
