Ein Mehrzweekgerät bildender Luftumwälzappar at.
An air circulation device that forms a multi-purpose device. The electrothermal heating devices that work with natural air flow from bottom to top have partly been replaced by those with forced air flow.
The advantage of the latter is that the warm air, which z. B. according to the downdraft principle is blown from top to bottom, the cold air on the ground is displaced and thus has a beneficial and pleasant effect on the lower limbs of the body.
Among the air circulation devices there are versions in which the exhaust air flows out radially and others in which it is directed to either side. Then those are also known which are combined with a box-shaped soldering pipe set up to accommodate laundry and other items to be dried - and thus represent a valuable multi-purpose device.
These systems, which because of. their once and for all Azig @basehghe and direction can be described as rigid, can only be used for limited purposes. The multiple uses of heating, cooling, drying, etc., which can be assigned to the air circulation apparatus, can, however, be achieved in a simpler way without a duct.
By mounting the air circulator in a suitable manner on a support, the air flow can be blown in the desired direction or at the desired location even without a guide tube or box.
The invention consists in that, as a result of the rotatable mounting of the air circulating part on a support, the air flow emerging from the air circulating part can be directed to all sides in a radial plane of the axis of rotation of the air circulating part. The drawing shows an example of the subject matter of the invention in perspective.
The air tumbling part 1, containing the motor, fan and heating wire, in such a way that the opening 2 can optionally flow warm or cold air in the direction of the arrows, is by means of a lateral pin 3 around the axis of rotation in a bearing 4 of the support 5 stored.
The change in direction of the air flow is brought about by rotating part 1 about axis a-1. The design is such that the air flow can be blown out of part 1 on all sides in a radial plane of axis a-b.
The securing of part 1 in the desired position is done by blocking the joint with means known per se, provided that the coincidence of the center of gravity of part 1 with the axis of rotation has not been structurally ensured that a - "hold" in the set position without external action occurs.
The air circulation is expediently to be hung low, especially if it is intended to spread warm air directly over the floor. Even with a relatively low elevation of the Luftumwäl.zteils z. B. the downward directed hot air stream the ground under order not even reach, but to follow its buoyancy rise beforehand.
The elevation of the part. 1 varies only insignificantly or not at all for larger or smaller devices, as the amount of air conveyed is closely related to the amount of animal heat. As a general rule, the outlet opening should be below knee level if the heat is intended to spread above the floor.
The lower position is also ideal for blowing or brushing dry goods. If it is, for example, drying hanging laundry, the expelled air flow then also brushes the lowest parts, while this would not be the case with the upright position, especially when working with warm air which, due to its upward movement, rises anyway .
If the joint between the air circulating part and the support is designed in such a way that the air circulating part can be lifted out by hand, the area of application is expanded in that the air circulating part can also interact with the drying box or other auxiliary devices. The bearing point of the support could also be designed to be adjustable in height, which would be advantageous in certain cases.
