Elektrischer Wasser-Durchlauferhitzer.
Wasser direkt in Berührung kommen.
Electric water heater. Various electrical instantaneous water heaters are known which are connected to a water line and in which a special container through which the water to be heated flows is heated by means of an electrical resistance heater.
Since in the previously known devices of this type, the resistance heating is used to heat another Kör pers, through which. only the water is heated, it is necessary to arrange a relatively large radiator so that the water flowing through is heated quickly and effectively. The known devices of this type are therefore relatively large,
you cannot arrange them in any desired place without taking into account that the acquisition and operating costs are too high.
Subject of the present; Invention is an electric water heater, through which the above-mentioned disadvantages of known devices are eliminated in that the resistance wires of the s radiator are arranged in the flow of the flowing water that they with the. Come into direct contact with water.
They are advantageously arranged in a cavity from a Wasserleitüngsventils behind the valve cone.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in an exemplary embodiment, and Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a water pipe valve with a built-in radiator and switch.
Fig. 2 is partly a view and partly a section through the radiator and Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section through the switch.
The hot water generator according to the invention has essentially the form of a water line valve with the outlet 1, the channel 2 of which is connected through the inner Aushöhlun gene of the valve to the inlet 3, which is connected by means of the screw thread. 4 is connected to the water pipe. The inflow of the.
Water is regulated by means of a valve 5 of conventional design, which is screwed into the valve body through a thread 6 and the valve disk 8 of which is operated by a handwheel 7.
The valve body is provided with two cavities 9, 10 between the outflow 2 and the inflow 3, which are connected to one another by a reduction channel 11.
The cavity 10 arranged behind the valve cone 5 serves to accommodate a switch 12, by means of which the electric current is automatically switched on when the water flows through, while the electric heater 13 is arranged in the cavity 9.
Both cavities are arranged next to one another with openings closed on the lower side of the valve body by locking nuts 14, 15.
The switch 12 arranged in the cavity 10 behind the valve cone 5 is actuated by the pressure of the water flowing out of the inflow channel 3. For this purpose, a myebrow 16 is arranged in the cavity 10, which acts on a pin 17 of the switch in such a way that
that through the movement of the membrane caused by the water pressure, the contacts of the switch and thus the circuit to the radiator are closed by 13. The switch is shown in Fig. 3 on a larger scale.
The water pressure acts on the membrane 16 in the direction of the arrow @. The switch is pushed into the cavity of the valve body. He has a con tact 19 carrying sleeve 18.
The circuit is closed by the pin 17, which rests on the membrane 16 by means of the button 22 and is under the action of a spring 21 which is supported on the one hand on the button 22 and on the other hand on the support plate 23 of the switch. The pin 17 also acts by means of a plate 24 on a bolt 25,
which is connected to the contact plate 19. The switch is in the hollow of the valve by means of. a support screw 26, which is arranged in the locking nut 15. A conventional seal 27 is located between the sleeve 18 and the membrane 16.
By not shown in the drawing, channels in the valve body, the lead wires are passed, by means of which the switch 12 is connected to the contacts 28 of the socket 29, which is stored in the cavity 9 of the heater 13. The heating element 13 is provided with plug pins 30 which are pushed into the plug contacts 28.
The heating element 13 is shown on a larger scale in FIG. 2 and consists of an insulating element 31, in whose screw-shaped groove 32 a resistance wire 33 connected to the plug-in pins 30 is mounted.
The insulating body 31 is encompassed by a tightly fitting jacket 34 which is provided with an opening 35, 36 each at the top and bottom. These opposite openings 35, 86 are arranged at such a height that
that when a radiator is inserted in the cavity 9, the opening 35 comes to lie opposite the channel 11 and the opening 36 comes to lie opposite the channel 2 of the outflow 1. The water flowing through the water line valve is forced to flow through the heating element 13. It flows within the:
Sheath 34, along the heated resistance wire 33 on the helical path indicated by the arrow shown in Fig. 1 to the outflow opening 2, whereby the direct contact with the resistance wire causes the water to be heated in such a way that from the water pipe:
valve without an arrangement of a special heating vessel was mes or. hot water flows out, depending on how the flow rate is regulated by valve 5.
Since the electrical circuit is automatically closed to the heating body 13 by the water pressure on the membrane 16 only when the valve 5 is open, unintentional switching on of the current without the water flowing through and thereby damaging the heating element is prevented. So that the heating current can also be switched off when the water is flowing through, z.
B. if cold water is necessary, the current is arranged through a special one above the socket 29 of the radiator 13. Switch 37, which is connected to contacts 28, is switched off.
The contact lever 38 fastened to the bolt 40 is actuated by means of a handle 39 pivotably arranged on the cover 41. The cover 41 is provided with stops to limit the pivoting movement of the handle 39 and with markers for the, on or. switched off state of the switch 37 provided.
The heating element 13 is held in the required position below the cavity 9 by means of the screw nut 14, which is advantageously provided with a centering cone 42, which fits into the heating element 13 and presses it well into the socket 29 @ as in Fig. 1 shown.
The heating element and switch are designed as easily insertable units which can be exchanged as required.
