Description
Rohrverbindung.
Pipe connection. Lines made of reinforced or non-reinforced pressure pipes made of hardened material, such as concrete, have their weakest point at the connection points, so that the operating pressure must be significantly below the pressure that the pipes would withstand at the other points with the usual safety coefficient . This disadvantage is to be beho ben by the pipe connection to lines made of pressure pipes made of hardened material according to the present invention.
G, -mar of the invention is placed as a reinforcing sleeve around the connection point of the pipes, a one-piece ring, and there is a reinforcement provided in order to take on tensile stresses caused by internal pressure.
The ring is expediently made of reinforced concrete, and the space between the pipe and the ring is filled with a hardened mass.
One. Embodiment of the invention subject is shown on the accompanying drawing, in which I'ig. 1 shows an axial section through the junction and Uig. 2 a section along line II-II in hig. 1.
With 1 and 2 are two pipes to be connected together made of hardened material, r. B. concrete, which are equipped with the usual socket connection 3. The reinforcement of the pipes is not shown. Around the connection point is hardened as a reinforcing sleeve in one-piece ring 4. Material, e.g. B. concrete, which is provided with reinforcing rings 5 to absorb tensile stresses. 6 are reinforcing irons extending in the axial direction, e.g. B.
Brackets which secure the locking rings 5 in their position. The space 7 between the ring 4 and the tubes 1 and 2 is. by a hardening 112asse, e.g. B. concrete, cement, lime, etc., poured from, and there are two sprues S are provided. So that the pouring material fills the entire annular space and hardens before it is completely filled, the annular space must have a certain thickness. This thickness can be reduced at the ring ends at 9. The internal pressure acting at the connection point is absorbed by this reinforcement sleeve and the connection point can withstand the same pressure as the pipes.
Instead of providing the reinforcement in the ring 4, the same could also be laid in the pouring compound 7. The ring 4 can usually be produced outside the connection points or in a circuit at the connection points themselves.
These reinforcement sleeves are suitable for reinforced or non-reinforced pressure pipes made of concrete, Eternit and other hardened material and also for pipes whose ends butt together.
