Ventouse.
Suction cup.
The object of the present invention is a suction cup of the type comprising a bell containing an elastic inner adjusting container. This suction cup is characterized by an exhaust valve cooperating with the inner container and by an intake valve cooperating with the bell, both of which are controlled by a button located outside the bell.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the suction cup forming the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an axial section of the first embodiment.
Fig. 2 is an axial section of the second embodiment.
In the two embodiments shown, the suction cup comprises a bell 2, the bolzd of which has a wide roundness 1 and the bottom of which is pierced with a hole, which has a neck outside the bell, said hole being closed by an S.
In the first embodiment, the stopper carries a central tube 4, the inner end of the bell of which carries a rubber balloon 5, while its outer end is provided with an exhaust valve. 6 of the type used for bicycle tires', with control button.
The cap also carries an intake valve 7 with a return spring 8 and a control button external to the bell.
Dams it. second embodiment, a rubber balloon 9 in the form of a blind sleeve, the edge of the mouth of which encloses the stopper so as to be pressed between the latter and the code of the hole located at the bottom of the bell of the suction cup . The cap carries a central tube! 10 'with an escape valve M' of the same type as the valve 6 of the previous suction cup.
On the side of the bell is mounted an intake valve 12 'with a return spring 13 and a control button external to the bell.
The operation of this suction cup is as follows:
The bell 2 is applied to the body, after having inflated the balloon with a bicycle pump or an elastic bulb. It is then sufficient to press the button of the central valve to create a vacuum in the valve. If there is excess suction, the button on the side valve is pressed to admit a little air into the suction cup and thus reduce the vacuum.
The advantage of this suction cup is the great ease of handling resulting from the fact that the two control valves present! ha- cu-n, a simple button, which allows the patient to place and adjust it himself without difficulty.
The bell is made of glass, but it can also be of plastic or of stainless metal, in particular of oxidized aluminum alloy. In the latter case, the bell will be stamped in relatively thin sheet metal with a wide outer roundness 1, which will further increase the rigidity.
