Description
Trichter.
Funnel. The present invention relates to a funnel, the upper edge of which is bent inwards and the hilly part of which carries a sieve halfway up.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject invention is shown in the vertical section.
The upper edge of the girder body 1 is strongly bent inwards and reinforced by a flange 2 rolled outwards. About halfway up the conical part has an outwardly pressed, all-round groove 3, into which a sieve 5 clamped on a wire ring 4 can be inserted and replaced. The sieve could also rest on an inwardly pressed annular bead or on a number of inwardly projecting elevations. Of course, different screens can be provided.
The funnel described has the advantage that when pouring liquid. in such a way that it can see in the lower part of the funnel, i.e. accumulates below the sieve, no liquid can squirt through the sieve upwards out of the funnel and that the liquid that splashes back from the sieve is mostly caught by the inwardly curved edge.
