Description

  

  Trommelbremse au     Fahrzeugen.       Den     Gegenstand    vorliegender     Erfindung     bildet .eine     Trommelbremse    an Fahrzeugen,  bei welcher der     Bremsbackenträger        mittels     eines Hebelarmes am Fahrzeug befestigt     ist.     Gegenüber den     bereits    bestehenden Trommel  bremsen soll sich die     erfindungsgemässe          Trommelbremse    durch eine bessere Auflage  der Bremsbacken auf der Bremstrommel  unterscheiden.  



  Auf der beiliegenden     Zeichnung    ist ein       Ausführungsbeispiel    des Erfindungsgegen  standes schematisch dargestellt. Es zeigen:       Fig.    1 die     Trommelbremse    in der Seiten  ansichtbei abgenommener Bremstrommel,       Fig.    2 einen     Schnitt    nach der Linie     II-II     der     Fig.    1 und       Fig.    3 eine     Seitenansicht    in Pfeilrichtung  A der     Fig.    2.  



  Der     nicht    rotierende     Bremsbackenträger     ist mittels des Hebelarmes 1 in an sich be  kannter Art am Fahrzeug     befestigt.    Auf der       Aussenseite    liegt am Befestigungsarm 1 eine  mit einem     Betätigungsarm    2 ausgerüstete  Scheibe 3 auf. Letztere ist auf der     in    der       Zeichnung    nicht     dargestellten    Radachse dreh  bar gelagert.

   Mit Laufrollen 4 versehene Bol  zen 5 sind     einerends    an der Scheibe 3 und       anderends    an einer Ringscheibe 6     befestigt.     Die Bolzen 5 sind in bezug     auf    den Befesti  gungsarm 1     und        auf    die mit     letzterem    starr       verbundene,    den     Bremsbackeniräger    bildende       Abschlussscheibe    7 in Bogenschlitzen 8, 9     ver-          schwenkbar.  



  Drum brake on vehicles. The subject of the present invention is a drum brake on vehicles, in which the brake shoe carrier is attached to the vehicle by means of a lever arm. Compared to the already existing drum brakes, the drum brake according to the invention should differ in that the brake shoes are better placed on the brake drum.



  On the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown schematically. 1 shows the drum brake in a side view with the brake drum removed, FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1 and FIG. 3 shows a side view in the direction of arrow A in FIG.



  The non-rotating brake shoe carrier is attached to the vehicle by means of the lever arm 1 in a manner known per se. A disk 3 equipped with an actuating arm 2 rests on the fastening arm 1 on the outside. The latter is rotatably mounted on the wheel axle, not shown in the drawing.

   Bol zen 5 provided with rollers 4 are attached to the disk 3 at one end and to an annular disk 6 at the other end. The bolts 5 can be pivoted in arcuate slots 8, 9 with respect to the fastening arm 1 and to the end disk 7, which is rigidly connected to the latter and forms the brake shoe mount.

Claims

The lever arms 10, 11 of the expansion bodies 12, 13 rest on the rollers 4 of the bolts 5 between the cover disk 7 and the disk 6. The expansion bodies 12, 13 are rotatably mounted on pins 15, 16 which are let into the closing disk 7 and into the fastening arm 1. On the side facing away from the cover disk 7, the expansion bodies 12, 13 are combined with disks 17, 18.

When the brake is not actuated, the semicircular brake shoes 20, - 21 rest on the outer surfaces of the disks 17, 18 with corresponding recesses. The discs 17, 18 thus serve as spacers of the brake shoes held against each other by spring force.

A brake lining 26 is attached to the brake shoes 20, 21 by means of rivets or the like. The functioning of the drum brake described is now as follows:

If the disk 3 is pivoted clockwise in FIG. 3 by means of the arm 2, the bolts 5 in the arcuate slots 8, 9 describe a rotary movement in the same direction. As a result of the pressure of the rollers 4 of the bolts 5 on the lever arms 10, 11, the expansion bodies 12, 13 are also pivoted about the pins 15, 16.

The ganten 22, 23 of the expansion bodies thus cause the abutting surfaces of the brake shoes to move apart. As a result of the two-sided arrangement of the expansion bodies, the brake shoes are more even over the whole
