Description
. Chair with sprung backrest. The present invention relates to a chair with a cushioned backrest.
Such chairs are already known in which, however, there is the disadvantage that the backrest can easily move backwards when the suspension is set to be soft and is thus easily pushed back to the maximum deflection. If the suspension is set hard, on the other hand, the pressure on the back is too great, so that the spring action is insufficient.
This disadvantage is to be remedied by the chair according to the present invention in that the backrest is pivotably mounted on a fixed support part and that a resilient support is articulated at one end to the backrest and at the other end to the seat in such a way that it allows the backrest to pivot the greater the inclination angle, the greater the resistance. This achieves a very pleasant cushioning of the backrest.
The resilient support is expediently formed by a bent leaf spring which bends out resiliently when the backrest is pivoted.
The articulation point of the resilient support on the backrest can be adjustable up and down for the purpose of regulating the flexibility of the backrest.
Furthermore, the articulation point of the springs can be the support on the seat to regulate the angle of inclination of the backrest in the rest position forwards and backwards.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is shown in a vertical partial section through a chair.
The backrest 1 is pivotable about the axis of rotation 2 on the fixed support part 3 which is attached to the underside of the seat 4. A resilient support formed by a bent leaf spring 5 is connected to the backrest 1 at one end by means of an axis of rotation 6 and at the other end by means of an axis of rotation 7 < / B> articulated to the seat 4. When the backrest 1 is pivoted about the axis of rotation 2, the leaf spring 5 initially only opposes the pivoting movement with a slight resistance, since, as can be seen from the circular arcs entered,
the leaf spring 5 only needs to be bent out a little at first. If the angle of inclination of the backrest 1 is greater, the resistance increases rapidly because the leaf spring 5 has to bend more and more. This limits the angle of inclination even without a stop and the suspension is very comfortable.
The articulation point 6 of the leaf spring 5 on the backrest 1 can be adjusted upwards and downwards, whereby the flexibility of the backrest can be regulated.
Furthermore, the articulation point 7 of the leaf spring 5 on the seat 4 can be adjusted forwards and backwards, whereby the angle of inclination of the backrest can be regulated in its rest position.
