Additional patent to main patent no. 236626. Conveying flat press for gluing wood veneers, strips, boards, plywood and the like. The invention relates to a för-reducing flat press for gluing wood veneers, strips, boards, plywood and the like according to the claim of the main patent.
So it has two from parallel arranged side by side and from alternately in the longitudinal direction back and forth displaceable and alternately raised and lowered conveyor rails existing, in their distance from each other adjustable beds, the rails of which lie opposite each other in pairs and work together so that each pair periodically promotes and also acts pressing at the same time on the goods located in between, in order to then return to the starting position while releasing the goods and to carry out the feed while taking up the pressing pressure. In the conveying flat press according to the invention, the rails of both beds are combined into a number of groups by cross members.
The drawing shows, for example, an embodiment of the flat press built according to the invention, in which only two groups of rails are used.
Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section along the line I-I of Fig. 2. The latter is a plan view of the flat press.
FIG. 3 is a front view and FIG. 4 is a section on a somewhat larger scale along the line I-1 of FIG.
The uprights 70 of the flat press shown are box-shaped and held together by the rods 72 and 73 with struts 71 and above. These stands are used to support a camshaft 74, which is rotated by the gear 75 and two pairs of mutually offset cams 76, 77 carries, whose func- tions will be explained later.
The uprights 70 carry two exactly identical vertical guides 78 at each end; whereupon carriage 79 can move up and down. These movements are caused in a manner to be described later by spindles 80 which, provided at each end with counter-rotating threads, are inserted in lateral extensions 81 which pass through wide slots provided in the walls of the guides 78. The carriages 79 each carry a horizontal track 82, 83 which is positioned perpendicular to the guides, the tracks 82 arranged on the right-hand side of FIG.
the tracks 83 lying on the left side are wedge-shaped in cross section. Between the uprights 70 two rail beds adjustable to one another by rotating the spindles 80 are arranged. The lower one is composed of two groups of rails 84, 85 and the upper one is also composed of two groups of rails 86, 87. The rails of each group are arranged alternately at the top and bottom, so that each rail of one group is flanked by two rails of the other group.
Each group of rails is related to two cross members, which can be found at one end of the flat press between the tracks 82, 83 be. The rails 84 of the lower bed are attached to cross members 88, 89 and the rails 85 to cross members 90, 91. Ge opposite are the rails NEN 87 with cross members 94, 95 and the rails 86 with cross members 92, 93 verbun on the upper side.
The cross members rest by means of rollers 96, 97, which are appropriately profiled, on the tracks 82, 83, on which they can move back and forth when the cams 76, 77 are rotated. For this purpose, levers 98, 99 loaded by springs 100, 101 are arranged on the shaft 72 so as to be freely oscillatable. Its lower end comprises a bolt 104 inserted into bearings 102, 103. The bearings 102 sit on rails 86 of the other group.
The pins 148 and 149 of the outermost upper rails engage in slots 150, 151 of the tabs 152 and 153 fastened to the outermost lower rails.
So when the respectively through the cross members 92 and 93. 94 and 95 held together, respectively from rails 86. 87 formed groups of the upper bed by the cams 76 respectively. 77 against the action of the spring 101 respectively. 100 is given a back and forth movement, the groups of the lower bed connected by the tabs 152, 153 go with it. From this it follows that rails 84, 86 respectively opposite one another at the top and bottom. 85, 87 move back and forth with one another, namely according to the position of the cams 76, 77 on the shaft 74, in groups in opposite directions.
Now the lower cross members 88, 89, 90, 91 at both ends have two adjustable stops 110, 111, which cooperate with each back and forth movement with a crank arm 112 attached to the lower end of the spindle 80 to the spindle depending on the direction of movement to always turn the same angle back and forth. As a result of the counter-rotation of the threads cut at both ends of the spindles 80, this rotation is sufficient to bring the upper and lower rails of the same group closer to or apart by an amount that requires clamping or a letting go of the .between the rail beds introduced good result.
The following results from this illustration: The material to be treated is introduced into the flat press on the right-hand side of FIG. When the cooperating rails of a group arrive there, they are, before the stop 110 has hit the crank arm 112, apart and can accommodate the goods. The cooperation of the mentioned stops and cure belarme, which takes place simultaneously at both ends of all of the same rail group belonging to the cross member, moves the relevant rails of the upper and lower bed towards each other in the in Fig. 3 for the cross members 90 and 94, 91 and 95 drawn position. Then the good is clamped between the corresponding rails.
In this mutual position this rail croup then goes to the left until the stops 111 turn the spindles in the other direction and the rails of the group discussed diverge. At this moment the upper and lower rails of the group have the mutual position that is shown in FIG. 1 for the one which belongs to the cross members 88, 92 and 89, 93. The good is then free; the group rolls to the right again and, as already described, the rails are moved towards each other at the end of this movement.
Now the other group of rails, under the influence of the offset cam 76, executes movements which are 180 out of phase with respect to the movements of the first group. One group of rails moves to the left and takes the goods under pressure (Fig. 1) when the other group makes the path in the other direction, releasing the goods; in this way a promoting movement for the good comes about.
There could also be more than two rail groups.
The means for promoting movement and for moving the groups of rails up and down could have a different shape or in a different way. act, for example by means of electrically operated devices that would be controlled by contacts arranged at the end of the travel paths of the various cross members.
