Gas turbine system with a circuit of the working medium. The invention relates to a gas turbine system with a circuit of the working medium, from which a partial amount is constantly withdrawn and a replacement amount is supplied for this purpose, at least one turbine by the amount of working medium flowing around in the circuit and at least one other turbine by the from the Circulation withdrawn partial amount is applied. The system according to the invention has a device for adjusting the output of the extraction turbine by changing the speed of the rotary turbine.
The speed controller of the circulation turbine can itself actively set the withdrawal of working medium from the circuit, in particular the supply of the working medium to the withdrawal turbine. The setting device can be a device for setting the speed setpoint of the rotary turbine. At least one compressor of the system can have a bypass line, the flow control element of which is automatically adjusted by the speed controller of the rotary turbine. The fuel supply to the gas heater is expediently adjusted additionally when the device is operated for setting the setpoint value of the rotational speed of the circulating turbine.
An embodiment of the subject invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. 1 shows a gas turbine system according to the invention and FIG. 2 shows a control device which can be used for the gas turbine system according to FIG. In both figures, the same parts are denoted by the same reference numerals.
The gas turbine system according to FIG. 1 ar processed with a circuit of a gaseous working medium, for. B. air, from which a partial amount is constantly removed and wel chem for this constantly leads to a replacement amount. The working medium compressed by the low-pressure compressor 1 passes through the intercooler 2 into the high-pressure compressor 3. After it has been brought to the highest pressure, it flows through the line 4 into the heat exchanger 5, where it flows through the pipes 6 is preheated. Through the line 7, the work medium flows on until it is divided into two parts at the point 8.
A larger part passes through the line 9 into the gas heater 10 and is heated to the highest temperature as it flows around the heat exchange tubes 11 and then fed through the line 12 to the turbine 13. The working fluid relaxed in the turbine reaches the heat exchanger 5 through the line 14 and, as it flows around the heat exchange tubes 6, gives off some of its residual heat to the working fluid flowing through the tubes. The working medium passes through the line 15 into the cooler 16, in which a further part of its residual heat is passed to a coolant. Finally, the working medium 6 is returned to the low-pressure compressor 1 through the line 17, where the cycle begins again.
From the described circuit of the working medium, a partial amount is continuously withdrawn from the circuit at point 8 and fed through line 18 as combustion air to burner 19 of gas heater 10. The combustion gases flow through the heat exchange tubes 11, in which the heat is dissipated to the working fluid of the circuit flowing around the tubes. The combustion gases then pass through line 20 into turbine 21.
As a substitute for the amount of working medium removed from the circuit at point 8, air from the atmosphere is constantly fed into the circuit by the compressor 22. This replacement quantity is introduced into the heat exchanger 5 through the line 23 at a point 24 at which the working medium flowing around the heat exchange tubes 6 has approximately the same temperature and the same pressure as the replacement quantity.
The turbine 13 driven by the amount of working fluid flowing around the circuit drives the compressors 1, 3 and 22, while the turbine 21 acted upon by the partial amount discharged from the circuit as a power turbine via a gear 25 drives a ship's propeller 26. Conversely, however, the circulation turbine could also be used to generate the useful power and the extraction turbine could be used to drive one or more compressors. The propeller 26 can be designed as a variable pitch propeller, the blades of which can have a variable pitch angle depending on the direction of travel or the speed of travel.
The turbine 13 and the compressors 1, 3 and 22 are still coupled to an electrical machine 27, which serves as a starting machine and as an auxiliary machine to compensate for excess or insufficient power.
The power of the extraction turbine 21 is set differently by changing the speed of the rotary turbine 12. In order to maintain the speed of the rotary turbine 13 and the compressor 1, 3 and 22 at a set target value, the supply of the working medium to the Ent acquisition turbine 21 is set by the speed controller 28 of the rotary turbine. The speed controller 28 controls a flow control organ 32 through the intermediary of a pulse generator 29, the pulse line 30 and the servo motor 31. The flow control element is arranged in a bypass line 33, which supplies working medium from the line 20, bypassing the first stage of the turbine 21 to the subsequent stages . The pulse generator 29 is designed as an isodrome device.
With each control process, it exactly restores the desired number of drelis on the rotary turbine 13, regardless of how great the load on the turbine is. A permanent non-uniformity cannot arise. The @ ttrchflu @ i @@ ner @ clinitt of the rule e r-anes t '1) \ 2 is reduced as soon as the speed of the turbine 13 falls below the setpoint,
uni-reversed but increased as soon as the speed of the turbine 13 rises above the setpoint. A reduction in the flow cross section of the regulating element 32 has the effect that a smaller amount of working medium is withdrawn from the circuit. A higher temperature arises in the combustion chamber of the gas heater 10. A larger amount of working medium is fed to the gas heater through the line 9 and then through the line 12 to the turbine 13. The turbine 13 thus receives an increased amount of working fluid with increased heat content, so that the decrease in the speed of the rotary turbine below the setpoint value, which initially initiates the regulation, is eliminated again.
Conversely, an enlargement of the flow cross section of the regulating element 32 causes an increase in the extraction from the circuit. The turbine 13 is then supplied with a smaller amount of working fluid with a lower heat content, so that the initially increased speed of the cycle turbine is returned to the desired target value.
The pulse generator 29 has a Vorrich device 34, with the help of which the target value, wel cher is maintained by the controller 28, the desired performance of the overall system can be adjusted accordingly by hand. If a smaller setpoint for the speed is set on the rotary turbine, the result is a smaller useful power at the turbine 21; with a higher setpoint, however, there is a greater useful power.
The temporary influence on the supply of working medium to the extraction turbine 21 during the control process has no adverse consequences for the operation, since this secondary influence ceases to set the new steady state again. Particularly when used as a ship propulsion system, the resulting short-term and slight change in speed is of no importance. In the case of land-based systems, the rotary turbine 13 can be coupled to the extraction turbine 21, then there are no changes in speed at all, in particular if one of the turbines drives a power generator that is connected in parallel to a network.
In the discharge line 35, which leads from the supply line 20 of the extraction turbine 21 directly into the outlet line 36, bypassing the turbine, a flow control element 37 is installed. The servo motor 38 is influenced by the speed controller 40 of the extraction turbine 21 by means of the pulse line 39. In the supply line 20, a closing element 41 is also installed, which is also controlled by the speed controller 40 by means of the servo motor 42 via the pulse line 43. The servo motor 38 of the regulating element in the discharge line 35 can also be influenced by the speed controller 28 of the rotary turbine 13 via the pulse lines 44 and 30 and the pulse generator 29.
The flow control element 37 of the discharge line 35 and the closing element 41 act together as a quick-acting device to immediately interrupt the supply of working medium to the extraction turbine 21 when the limit of the permissible speed range is exceeded. A sudden interruption of the power delivery is necessary when the speed of the turbine 21, z. B. Rain. Submerging the propeller in high seas or if a variable-pitch propeller fails, should rise to an unacceptably high level, and on the other hand, if, e.g. B. as a result of Ge danger, the power output should be interrupted immediately.
If the limit of the permissible rotational speeds is reached by the extraction turbine 21, the controller 40 influences the servomotors 38 and 42 at the same time in this way. that the flow control element 37 is opened and the closing element 41 is closed. The mixture gases from the gas heater 10 then no longer flow to the turbine 1, but rather through the discharge line 35 directly into the outlet line 36.
By influencing the servomotor 38 by means of the speed controller 28, the cross-section of the speed of the rotary turbine and the load on the overall system that is released by the flow control element 37 in the event of a quick-release is set accordingly. If the quick-action closure takes place at a lower load, when only a smaller amount of working fluid is supplied to the turbine 21, then the flow cross-section of the organ 37 in the discharge line 35 is smaller than at a greater load with a correspondingly larger amount of working fluid.
The flow cross-section set by organ 37 in the event of a quick circuit is measured by the controller 28 in such a way that after a quick circuit the same amount of working fluid is discharged through the discharge line 35 as immediately before the quick circuit through the extraction turbine 21. This achieves a quick circuit cannot have any direct repercussions on the circulation.
The flow regulating members 47 and 51 and the throttle member 55 come into effect in the case of a greatly reduced load and idling in order to prevent the compressor from pumping. With the flow control elements, individual stages or an entire compressor can be short-circuited so that the reduced amount of working medium only flows through part of the compressor stages. This prevents the pumping phenomena.
The compressor 23 has an order bypass line 45 which connects the suction line 46 with an intermediate stage. The flow control element 47, which is controlled by a servomotor 48, is arranged in this bypass line. The servo motor 48 is on the pulse line 49 with. the pulse generator 29 in connection.
Between the coolers 16 and 2 there is a connection via line 50, in which the flow control member 51 is built. The flow regulating element is influenced with the aid of a servomotor 53 which is connected to the pulse generating device 29 via the pulse line 54 and 49. With the aid of this bypass line, the low-pressure compressor 1 can be short-circuited, so that the working medium from the line 15 passes directly through the cooler 16 and the intercooler 2 into the high-pressure compressor 3.
The throttle element 55 is installed in the suction line 46 of the compressor 22 and is influenced by the servo motor 56 by the pulse generator 29 via the lines 49 and 57.
First, the control element 4 7 of the compressor 22, then the control element 51 of the low-pressure compressor 1 is opened by means of the setting device 34 via the pulse generator 29. Finally, a further reduction in performance is achieved by closing the throttle member 55. The Um- flow element 47 can be a part of the charging compressor ?? The conveyed air can flow back into the suction line so that a lower pressure of the working medium is set in the circuit in accordance with the lower load.
When the valve 51 is opened, the low-pressure compressor 1 is short-circuited. The high-pressure compressor 3 will then compress the working medium flowing around in the circuit to a lower pressure. When throttling the intake line of the supercharger? Finally, the control element 55 lowers the pressure of the working medium to such an extent that the system can rotate without load at normal speed while idling.
The fuel supply to the gas heater must be changed according to the power set by the speed. The adaptation should be able to be accelerated manually while the power is changed. For this purpose, a control element 59 is arranged in the fuel line 58 of the burner, the servomotor 60 of which can be influenced by the manual setting device 34 of the pulse generator 29 via the pulse lines 30 and 64.
In addition, there is an influence by the tempe temperature of the working medium in the line 12 by means of the temperature pulse generator 63 via the line 62 and finally an influence by the pressure in the combustion chamber of the gas heater 10 through the pulse line 61. The control device shown in Fig. 2 can be used for the gas turbine system according to 1 find use. The speed controller 28 is driven by the shaft 74 of the circular turbine. It influences the control element 32 in the bypass line 33 of the extraction turbine via an isodrome device in such a way that the speed setpoint set for the rotary turbine with the aid of the manual setting device 34 is maintained.
The isodrome device is equipped with a flexible return and consists of the servo motor 31 with control slide 75, the return drag device 7 6 and the spring 77.
The isodrome device can only come to rest when the lever 78 looks in a truce in which the spring 77 is tension-free and the control slide 75 covers the control channels 79 and 80 of the servo motor 31 in the central position. This position of the lever 7 8 can only occur in a single point of the speed controller 28, namely that which corresponds to the setpoint speed set by the lever 34.
If the speed of the cycle turbine deviates upwards from the setpoint value set, the regulator sleeve 81 rises. The fulcrum 82 of the lever 78 remains unmoved for the time being, but the slide 75 is pulled upward. Pressure fluid can penetrate from the line 83 through the control channel 80 into the cylinder space located above the servomotor piston 84. The piston is pressed downwards so that the throughflow cross section of the regulating element 32 is enlarged by means of the lever 85 and the yoke 86. A larger amount of working medium now flows to the extraction turbine and a smaller amount to the circulation turbine.
The initial speed deviation which initiated the control process is thereby canceled again.
A similar control process, but with reversed directions of movement, occurs when the speed of the rotary turbine deviates from the nominal value downwards. The flow cross-section of the regulating element 32 is then reduced by the regulator 28 with the aid of the isodrome device. Less working fluid flows to the extraction turbine, but more to the recirculation turbine, so that the speed rises again to the setpoint.
In order to avoid over-regulation and a resulting oscillation of the control device, the servomotor piston 84 leads during the Regelvor course with the help of the drag coupling 76 and the lever 78 the control slide 75 back against its central position. The spring 77 is tensioned here.
As a result, a force acts on the housing of the drag coupling 76, which spaces on the drag piston 8 7 acts via the fluid content of the cylinder. In the case of an increase in speed, there is an overpressure in the cylinder space below the drag piston compared to the cylinder space above the drag piston, so that the liquid content under the piston passes through the throttle bore 88 of the piston into the upper cylinder space. The displacement of the piston 8 7 in the cylinder of the Schleppvorrich device 76 takes place for so long. until the spring 77 is tension-free and the slide 75 remains in the central position.
The servomotor piston 84 is then no longer displaced and no more spring force is exerted on the tow coupling. This rest position is only possible, please include when the controller 28 is returned exactly to the position corresponding to the set target speed and thus the recirculating turbine driving the controller reaches the required target speed again. Has..
By means of the lever 3.1, the desired setpoint for the speed of the rotary turbine and thus the required useful power of the entire system is set. If the lever is moved in the direction of the double arrow 89, the spring 7 7 is raised. The lever 78 can then only come to rest in a position in which the position of the regulator sleeve 81 is correspondingly lower and the value for the setpoint speed is correspondingly reduced. The useful power is then also reduced. Conversely, when the lever is moved in the + direction of the double arrow 89, the value for the setpoint speed is increased.
The spring 7 7 is then moved downwards, the rest position of the regulating sleeve 81 will then be higher and the target speed of the rotary turbine to be maintained is increased accordingly. At the increased speed, there is an increased output.
The control element 37 in the discharge line 35 branching off from the supply line 20 of the extraction turbine and the closing element 41 in the supply line 20 are then influenced with the aid of the controller 40 driven by the shaft 90 of the extraction turbine when the speed of this turbine exceeds the upper limit the permissible speed range increases.
At permissible speeds of the extraction turbine, the control slide 91 is in a position in which pressure fluid can flow from the line 92 into the line 93. This pressure fluid reaches the cylinder spaces via the pistons 94 and 95 of the servomotors 38 and 42, so that the Re gel organ 37 is closed and the closing organ 41 is open. The working fluid then flows through line 20 unhindered into the extraction turbine.
When the speed of the extraction turbine reaches the upper limit of the permissible speed range, the collar 97 is raised with the aid of the lever 96. The slide 91 reaches an upper position in which the connection between the lines 92 and 93 is interrupted, while a connection between the lines 92 and 98 is established. The pressure fluid now flows into the cylinder chambers under the servomotor piston 94 and 95. The valve of the control element 37 is raised until the servomotor piston 94 comes to a stop on the piston 99, and the closing element 41 is brought into the fully closed position.
The piston 99 is adjusted by means of the yoke 86 and the isodrome device by the regulator 28 of the circulation turbine so that the amount of working medium discharged through the discharge line 35 is exactly the same as the amount of working medium flowing through the line 20 to the extraction turbine immediately before the interruption. This measure ensures that there are no immediate repercussions on the operation of the circuit in the event of a quick shutdown of the extraction turbine.
A quick closing can also be initiated when the lever 34 is moved into its end position in the direction of the double arrow 89. The slide 91 is then raised by means of the lever 78 and the push rod, so that pressure medium can flow from the line 92 through the line 98 to the servomotors 38 and 42. Finally, if the rotational speed is too high, the regulator 28 of the circulation turbine can also bring the slide 91 into the quick-closing position via the lever 78. Such an influence is particularly important if a malfunction occurs in operation.
Regardless of the Isodromv device, the controller 28 controls the flow element 4 7 in the bypass line 45, the flow control element 51 in the bypass line 50 and the throttle element 55 in the suction line 46 according to the speed of the circulating turbine in order to pump at low power to prevent the compressor. The lever 100 is rotated about the fixed point 101 by the sleeve 81. When the speed of the rotary turbine increases, the throttle element 102 will release a larger flow cross-section, and when the speed decreases, a smaller flow cross-section.
The servo motors 48, 53 and 56 is supplied by the gear pump 103 fluid, the pressure of which increases the more as the throttle member 102 releases a smaller cross section. The springs that load the pistons of the servomotors 48, 53 and 56 are matched to one another in such a way that first the servomotor 48, then the servomotor 53 when the control pressure is increased, and finally the servomotor 56 at the highest control pressure . At a certain speed of the rotary turbine, the liquid pressure is so high that the piston of the servo motor 48 lifts the valve of the control element 47.
As the speed decreases, the flow cross-section of the control element is opened more and more. During this decrease in speed and the corresponding increase in the control pressure in the servomotors, the piston of the servomotor 53 begins to lift the valve 51. At a very low speed, the pressure is so high that the piston of the servo motor 56 presses the valve of the regulating element 55 against the closed position.
To accelerate the adjustment of the amount of fuel to a changed loading, the fuel supply to the burner 19 can be adjusted by hand and also automatically by the temperature of the heated working fluid. The arranged in the fuel line 58 through flow control member 59 has a valve 104, which can be set by the hand lever 34 and additional Lich by the temperature pulse generator 63 in the line 12 for the heated gas. This setting is limited by means of the pressure pulse generator 105 so that oscillation of the control is prevented.
The hand lever 34 acts via the linkage 129 and the lever 130 on the lever 121, which adjusts the valve 104 of the control member 59 via the spring 122 and the rod 106. If the lever 34 is moved in the + direction of the double arrow 89, the valve 104 is pulled down and the fuel supply is increased. A drop in temperature while the power increases is then prevented.
Movement of the lever 34 in the direction causes a corresponding reduction in the fuel supply. Since a rise in temperature is prevented during the reduction in performance.
The exact setting of the temperature to the target value after a change in output is carried out automatically by the temperature pulse generator 63. The temperature-sensitive rod of the pulse generator 63 has an expansion capacity which is significantly greater than that of the pipe 12 surrounding it. The temperature expansion is via the levers 117, 118, the servo motor 119, the linkage 120, the lever 121 and the spring 122 transferred to the linkage 106 of the fuel control element 59. An increase in the temperature in the line 12 causes the control slide 123 in the servomotor 119 to rise.
As a result, pressure fluid flows out of line 124 into the cylinder space located above the servomotor piston 125, so that the piston is lowered. The flow cross-section of the fuel control element 59 is reduced via the lever 126, the linkage 120, the lever 121, the spring 122 and the linkage 106. The temperature increase that initially initiated the control process is remedied by reducing the amount of fuel supplied. A similar control process, but with reversed directions of movement, starts when the temperature falls below the setpoint. The fuel supply is then increased so that the temperature is raised again.
The servomotor piston 125 also influences the return towing device 127, by means of which the return lever 118 adjusts and the spring 1-8 is tensioned. By adjusting the lever 118, the control slide 123 is reset during a control process-again against its central position, so that the further Regelaus impact of the servo motor piston 125 damped respectively. is interrupted.
The entire control device only comes to rest in a certain position of the lever 118, namely in which the spring 128 is tension-free and the slide 123 is in its central position. This middle position corresponds. the setpoint temperature to be set by the thermostat 63. To limit the control deflections, a pin 107 is attached to the rod 106 of the valve 104, which engages in the cam groove 108 of the plate 109. This plate is moved by means of the linkage 110 and the lever 111 through the piston 112 of the pressure pulse generator 105 in the direction of the double arrow 113.
An increase in the pressure in the combustion chamber of the gas heater 10 results in a shift in the + direction of the double arrow 113, a decrease in the combustion chamber pressure results in a shift in the - direction. This shift can also be corrected by hand using the lever 114.
The curved groove 108 has a shape such that, at the various pressures or pressures prevailing in the combustion chamber of the gas heater 10. at the various loads loading for the fuel control element 59, a control range is released in which no oscillations of the regulations can arise. With larger amounts of fuel, the control range is larger than with smaller amounts of fuel because, in particular with smaller amounts of fuel, the temperature control device runs the risk of entering into unstable operation.
The device for setting the performance of the extraction turbine by changing the speed of the rotary turbine can be influenced not only by hand, but also actively by impulse devices. So it is e.g. B. possible, this V device automatically by a Lei stungsmesser, z. B. a wattmeter or a dynamometer.
