Windkr aftmaschin e.

Wind power machines. The invention relates to a wind power machine. During the operation of these machines it has been shown that when the direction of the wind changes, especially when there are gusts of wind, the wind turbine tries to adjust itself suddenly to the new wind directions. In the process, circular torques occur which endanger the entire system.
These gyroscopic moments result from the product of the moment of inertia of the wind turbine, the angular speed at which the wind turbine itself rotates; and the angular speed of setting the wind radars into the wind. Due to these gyroscopic moments, which can be very large, the shaft of the wind turbine is pushed upwards or downwards, depending on the direction of the gyroscopic moment, and because the wind turbine shaft suddenly causes the,
dangerous and constantly changing bending stresses, subject to stresses that can easily cause the same to break. But the tower also receives changing, dangerous loads as a result.
This heavy disadvantage is avoided according to the invention in that a device for damping the lateral deflections of the wind turbine when setting in a new wind direction when suddenly auftre border, the wind turbine is not perpendicular to the gusts of wind is provided, in which the damping with the square the angular speed of the change in direction of the wind turbine z unimm t.
This makes it possible to significantly reduce the angular speed when setting the wind turbine into the wind and to press down the gyro torques that still occur to a size that does not endanger the wind power plant.
For damping purposes, two or more oil pumps driven by the wind turbine when changing direction of the same are used, which do not offer any noticeable resistance to a slow change in direction of the wind turbine. In this case, no harmful braking occurs.
The whole thing is expediently designed in such a way that a pivot pin driven by the wind wheel shaft carries a gear wheel which drives the oil pumps, and the oil pumps are advantageously connected in parallel,
This means that both the pressure lines of all pumps and the suction lines of all pumps are connected to one another. A line having a throttle point advantageously connects the suction lines with the pressure lines.
In the drawing, an execution example of the invention is shown. It shows: FIG. 1 a side view of the wind turbine of a high-speed wind power machine with the upper part of the tower,
Fig. 2 shows a vertical center section through the damping device on a larger scale and Fig. -3 a schematic representation of the arrangement and circuit of the individual oil pumps. The horizontal wind turbine shaft is connected to the wind turbine 1, which is mounted in the wind wheel carrier 2.
The wind turbine carrier has the vertical pivot 3, which is rotatably mounted in the thrust bearing 4 and is surrounded by the mast ü which is attached to the uppermost end of the tower 6.
In order to prevent the occurrence of large gyroscopic moments when setting the -Windradäge in new wind directions, the pivoting of the wind turbine ax caused by changes in the direction of the wind is dampened.
For this purpose, a large gear 7 is seated at the lower end of the pivot 3, which in the exemplary embodiment shown meshes with three pinions 8 "9, 10-.
These pinions drive gear oil pumps 11, 12 and $ 1. Each of the gear oil pumps has a central gear 14, which is driven by one of the pinions mounted on the same shaft, and two laterally arranged gears 15 and 16.
The oil pumps. are double acting. The suction and pressure sides of the pumps depend on the direction in which the wind tries to move the wind turbine.
If the wind radars, if you look from above at the wind power plant, pivoted clockwise, then the pinions 8, 9, 10 and thus the gears 14 with reference to FIG. 3 are also rotated clockwise.
So that the lines 17, 18 suction lines and the lines 19, 20 pressure lines. The pumps are connected in parallel, i.e. both the pressure lines of all pumps and the suction lines of all pumps are connected to one another. Instead of two lines for the pressure and suction side, only one line can of course be provided.
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the lines 17 and 18 are connected to one another by a connecting line 21 and the lines 19 and 20 are connected to one another by a connecting line 22. To remove oil from the oil sump 25, a check valve 23 for the lines 17, 18 and a check valve 24 for the lines 19, 20 is seen before.
The connecting lines 21 and 22 and thus the lines 17, 18 and 19, 20 are further connected by a line having a throttle point 26.
If a gust of wind hits the wind turbine, as assumed above, at an angle - to the wind wheel position, which the wind radar tries to swivel clockwise when looking at the system from above, then the pivot 3 and the large gear 7 will turn clockwise .
The gears 14 of the three pumps will rotate clockwise and the gears 15, 16 will turn counterclockwise, and the oil is pumped from the suction lines 17, 18 into the pressure lines 19, 20.
But since the Ö l from the pressure lines as well as the must flow back into the suction lines and thereby passes the throttle point 26, the work of the pumps and thus the setting of the wind radars in the new wind direction is strongly dampened,
the attenuation is proportional to the square of the angular velocity of the change in direction of the wind radars. - However, if there is only a slow change in wind direction, then the Ö l has enough time to pass the throttle point and there is no noticeable damping.
The damping device can be equipped with piston pumps instead of gear pumps. Likewise, it is not necessary that the device is net angeord at the end of the vertical pivot, but it can be seen at any suitable point on the wind power machine. If you put the reservoir for the @ Ö'1 of the oil pumps so high that the (:: 1 flows to the oil pumps with a natural gradient, the check valves can be saved.
