Gate direction for holding an Ilikrotelephons. The present invention is a device for holding a micro phone in its position of use on the body of a user of the phone. In order to be able to write while telephoning, the earpiece is often held between head and armpit so that both hands are free. The inclined position of the head that is necessary is very uncomfortable; there is also the risk that the microtelephone can slide down. A number of holders have therefore been designed for the latter, but they have various shortcomings.
For example, the microphone cannot be set individually for the different head shapes according to the position of the ear; Furthermore, it is not possible to put the microtelephone and holder on the cradle of the telephone set, etc.
The present invention avoids these disadvantages in that the microtelephones can be swiveled on an arm by means of a hinge part which is intended to be attached to the microtelephone, which arm is in turn connected swiveling to a holder to be placed on the user's body The joints expediently have friction disks in order to prevent unintentional adjustment of the speaking tube from its position of use.
In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is shown. 1 shows the device in view with the microphone placed on the telephone set, FIG. 2 shows the device in plan, FIG. 3 shows a section along line III III of Mg. 2, FIG. 4 shows a section along line IV -IV of Mg. 3, Fig. 5 the device during the use of the microtelephones.
On the handle 1 of the microtelephones a bracket 2 is attached, in which a screw bolt 3 is arranged. A sleeve 4, which has a slot 5, is rotatably mounted on the latter. Between the sleeve 4 and the free ends 2ca of the clamp 2, friction disks 6 are provided, which can consist of fiber, for example. An arm 7, the other end of which is mounted on a screw bolt 8, protrudes into the slot 5 of the bushing 4. The latter sits in tabs 9 of a piece of wire 10 serving as a support.
The piece of wire 10 is bent in such a way that on the one hand it can be placed around the neck of the telephone user and on the other hand is supported on the armpit by means of the studs 11 attached to it (FIG. 5). The part of the support 10 placed around the neck is surrounded by thermal insulation 12 and has a button 13 at the free end which supports the device on the telephone when the microtelephones are not in use (Fig.l). Between the arm 7 and the tab 9 there are friction disks 14 which are pressed against the arm by the screw bolt 8.
In the arm 7, a slot 15 is provided which widens at the free end. This allows the support 10 to be fixed on the microtelephone by inserting the arm 7 into the sleeve 4 and thus also to be easily and quickly removed again. The joints formed by parts 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 and 9 allow the microtelephones to be set in any practically possible position. Tests have shown that this adjustment option is necessary in order to ensure that the earpiece can be placed securely on the ear with the most varied of head and neck shapes.
The earpiece always remains on the ear even when the upper body is inclined at different angles. The built in the joints th friction disks 6, 14 prevent unintentional adjustment of the support 10 against the microtelephon BEZW. vice versa when pressing the head against the earpiece.
The support 10 with the arm 7 can be removed from the latter by pulling it away from the microphone without any parts having to be adjusted. The assembly of the microtelephone and support 10 is carried out by inserting the free end of the arm 7 into the bushing 4, the front end of the slot 15 (FIG. 4) encompassing the bolt 3 somewhat and being clamped to it, since the arm 7 is secured with the support 10 against unintentional fall.
Instead of the rigid piece of wire 10, a flexible metal hose can be used ver. The clamp 2 could also be replaced by a spring clip with which the device can be clamped onto the handle 1. A further possibility of adjustment consists in that two parts which can be telescoped into one another are used as the arm 7, so that the distance of the microtelephone from the support 10 can be changed within certain limits. The hinge point 3, 4 could also be built into the handle 1, so that the clamp 2 is no longer necessary.
Instead of the button 13, the end of the piece of wire <B> 10 '</B> could also be bent into a loop, which gives the support an even better hold on the neck.
