In ein Doppelbett umwandelbare Couch. Die bekannten, in ein Doppelbett umwan delbaren Couch weisen entweder keinen Bett zeugkasten auf, so dass das Bettzeug ander weitig oder in einem Bettzeugraum eines die Couch umgebenden Umbaues untergebracht werden muss, oder sie weisen einen zu kleinen Bettzeugkasten auf, in welchem nicht alles notwendige Bettzeug unterbringbar ist. An dere in ein Doppelbett umwandelbare Couch mit genügend grossem Bettzeugraum weisen eine übermässige Sitzhöhe auf.
Als Bettzeug kasten ist im allgemeinen der Gestellrahmen der Couch ausgebildet, wobei der Hauptma- tratzenrahmen als Deckel des Bettzeugka- stens dient.
Durch die vorliegende Erfindung soll nun eine in ein Doppelbett umwandelbare Couch geschaffen werden, welche bei norma ler Sitzhöhe einen genügend grossen Bett zeugkasten aufweist. Gemäss der Erfindung wird dies dadurch erreicht, dass in einem eine Stahlmatratze aufweisenden Hauptmatratzen- rahmen ein ebenfalls eine Stahlmatratze auf- weisender Ausziehmatratzenrahmen einge schoben ist, welcher senkrecht zur Längs richtung der Couch ausziehbar ist, und eine auf diesen auflegbare zweiteilige,
in zusam mengelegtem Zustand zugleich das Rücken polster der Couch bildende Ergänzungsma- tratze vorgesehen ist, wobei die durch die Ergänzungsmatratze dargebotene Liegefläche auf gleicher Höhe sich befindet wie diejenige dem Hauptmatratze.

Die Couch . weist einen Gestellrahmen 1 auf, dessen Seitenteile 1' aussenseitig -mit dem gleichen Stoffbezug versehen sind wie die Polsterung :der Couch.
An der Untersleite des Gestellrahmens 1 ist ein Boden 2 befestigt unddadurch ein geräumiger Bettzeugkasten 3 gebildet, in welchem sämtliches wünsühbare Bettzeug für das D-opp:
edbett untergebracht werden kann. Hinten an den Schmadseiten- tevlen 1' ödes GesteRrahmens 1 ist mittels Achszapfen 4 ein Hauptmatratzenrahmen 5, 5' a_ngelenkt, welcher mit einer Stahlmatratze 6 versehen ist.
Zwischen denn obern Teilrah men 5 und dem untern Teilrahmen 5' ist ein freier Zwischenraum vorhanden, .der für die Aufnahme :eines senkrecht zur Längsriohtung -der Couch ausziehbaren Ausziehmatratzen- rahmens 7 dient, welch letzterer ebenfalls mit einer Stabl:maaratze 8 versehen ist.
An :der vordern des Ausziehmatratzen- rahmens 7 ist ein aussenseitig mit dem glei chen Stoffbezug wie die Teile 1' versehener Rahmenteil 7' befestigt.
An :der untern Kante des Rahmenteils 7' ist mittels Scharnier 9 ein bei Nichtgebrauch an die Innenseite auf klappbarer und beim Aufstellen des Doppel bettes nach unten :stallbarer Fussteil 10 ange- lenkt. Der vorderseitige Längsteil des Ge- stellrahmens 1 isst mit einer Ausnehmung 11 versehen, in welcher bei eingeschobenem Aus ziehmatratzenrahmen 7 :

llel.obg'ammge- stänge, dessen Gelenkzapfen 17 am Gestell- rahmen 1 und dessen Gelenkzapfen 18 am ff auptmatratzenrahmen 5, 5' befestigt ist. Durch dieses Paralleloggrammgestänge wird unter der Wirkung der Zugfeder 1 das Ge wicht der 1VLatratzenrahmensamt Polster beim Aufheben derselben ausbalanciert.
Im Bett- zeugkas:ten sind ausser dem Bettzeug auch zwei Keilpolster 19 sowie eine dünne Schutz matratze 20 untergebracht.
Die Umwandlung der Couch in ein Dop pelbett geht wie folgt vor sich: Zuerst wird das zweiteilige Rückenpolster in eine das Öffnen des Bettzeugkastens nicht behin dernde Lage, beispielsweise durch Umsegen oder Ausbreiten auf @d@er Hauptmatratze 12 geb:ra,cht. Durch Anheiben des Hauptm:a-trat- zenrahmensi 5, 5' wird :
der Bettzeugkasten ge öffnet und aus ,diesem da3 Bettzeug entnom men. Der Bettzeugkasten wird wieder zuge macht und Ader Ausziehmatratzenrahmen 7 ausgezogen (Fig. 5). Durch Nachuntenstellen des Fussteils 10 wird der Ausziehmatratzen- rahmen in der horizontalen Lage gehalten.
Auf der Stahlmatratze des Rahmens 7 wird nun das zweiteilige Polster 13, 13' verlegt. Auf der Hauptmatratze 12 werden die Keil polster 19 verlegt und über das Ganze die Schutzmatratze 20 ausgebreitet. Nunmehr kann .mit ,dem zur Verfügung s ehenden Bett zeug gebettet werden.
Nach Fig. 6 ist der Hauptmatratzenrah- men 5, 5' an der Kopfseite mit einem ver stellbaren Rahmenteil 21, welcher bei 22 mit teils Scharnier angelenkt ist und mittels einer Stützvorrichtung 23 dem Bedürfnis entspre- @ehend beliebig steil eingestellt werden kann. Durch diesen verstellbaren Kopfrahmen wer den Keilpolster überflüssig.
Zweckmässig ist ,die Couch mit zwei ,getrennt voneinander ver etellbaren Kopfrahmen versehen, .so dass beide Benützer des Doppelbettes die Einstellung individuell ihrem Bedürfnis entsprechend vor nehmen können.
An :der vordern Längskante des Aueziehmatratzen.rahmens 7 kann eine Fusslade 24 mittels eines Scharniers ange- lenkt sein, welche bei Nichtgebrauch auf die Stahlmatratze 8 niedergeklappt und beim Aufstellen des Doppelbettes hochgestellt wird.
Die ganz geringe, durch die Dicke des Teilrahmens 5 bestimmte Höhendifferenz zwischen dem Hauptmatratzenrahmen und dem Ausziehmatratzenrahmen wird am ein- fachsten dadurch ausgeglichen, dass die Pol ster 1ä, 1d' etwas dicker gehalten sind wie die Hauptmatratze 12.
Sofa convertible into a double bed. The known couch convertible into a double bed either has no bedding box, so that the bedding has to be accommodated elsewhere or in a bedding room of a conversion surrounding the couch, or they have too small a bedding box in which not all of the bedding required can be accommodated. Another couch that can be converted into a double bed and has a sufficiently large bedding space has an excessive seat height.
The frame of the couch is generally designed as the bedding box, the main mattress frame serving as the cover of the bedding box.
The present invention is to create a convertible sofa into a double bed, which has a sufficiently large bed tool box at normal seat height. According to the invention, this is achieved in that a pull-out mattress frame, which also has a steel mattress and can be pulled out perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the couch, is inserted into a main mattress frame having a steel mattress, and a two-part,
in the collapsed state, the supplementary mattress forming the back cushion of the couch is provided at the same time, the lying surface presented by the supplementary mattress being at the same height as that of the main mattress.

The couch . has a frame 1, the side parts 1 'of which are provided on the outside with the same fabric cover as the upholstery: the couch.
A floor 2 is attached to the underside of the frame 1 and thereby a spacious bedding box 3 is formed, in which all bedding for the D-opp:
edbett can be accommodated. A main mattress frame 5, 5 ', which is provided with a steel mattress 6, is articulated to the rear of the Schmadseiten- tevlen 1' dull gesture frame 1 by means of axle journals 4.
Between the upper part frame 5 and the lower part frame 5 'there is a free space, which is used to accommodate: a pull-out mattress frame 7 that can be pulled out perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the couch, the latter also being provided with a rod 8.
To: the front of the pull-out mattress frame 7, a frame part 7 'provided on the outside with the same fabric cover as the parts 1' is attached.
To: the lower edge of the frame part 7 'is linked by means of hinge 9 to a base part 10 which can be folded up when not in use and can be stowed down when the double bed is set up. The front longitudinal part of the frame 1 is provided with a recess 11 in which when the pull-out mattress frame 7 is pushed in:
the unfolded foot part 10 is received. When the pull-out mattress frame is pushed in, the frame part 7 'forms a flush merge (FIG. 3) with the side parts 1' at the corners of the frame frame 1. 12 is a that, seat cushion:

Through this parallelogram linkage, under the action of the tension spring 1, the weight of the mattress frame and upholstery is balanced when the same is lifted.
In addition to the bedding, two wedge cushions 19 and a thin protective mattress 20 are accommodated in the bedding box.
The conversion of the couch into a double bed is as follows: First, the two-part back cushion is placed in a position that does not prevent the bedding box from being opened, for example by being swept around or spread out on the main mattress 12. By lifting the main m: a-cadence frame 5, 5 'becomes:
Open and remove the bedding box, remove the bedding. The bedding box is closed again and the pull-out mattress frame 7 is pulled out (Fig. 5). By lowering the foot part 10, the pull-out mattress frame is held in the horizontal position.
The two-part cushion 13, 13 'is now laid on the steel mattress of the frame 7. On the main mattress 12, the wedge pads 19 are laid and the protective mattress 20 spread over the whole. You can now bed with the bedding that is available.
According to FIG. 6, the main mattress frame 5, 5 'is provided on the head side with an adjustable frame part 21 which is hinged at 22 in part with a hinge and can be adjusted as steeply as required by means of a support device 23. This adjustable head frame makes the wedge pad superfluous.
It is advisable to equip the couch with two separately adjustable head frames so that both users of the double bed can make the setting individually according to their needs.
A foot tray 24 can be linked to the front longitudinal edge of the pull-out mattress frame 7 by means of a hinge which, when not in use, is folded down onto the steel mattress 8 and raised when the double bed is set up.
The very small difference in height between the main mattress frame and the pull-out mattress frame determined by the thickness of the subframe 5 is most simply compensated for by keeping the cushions 1 a, 1 d 'somewhat thicker than the main mattress 12.
