Fig.5 ist eine Drauf sieht zu Fig. 1.
Switching mechanism for electric toggle switches. There are known electrical toggle switches with a handle, in which the tilt mechanism is arranged on a bearing side that rests on the switch base. In ge know switches of this type, a toggle spring is attached between the handle lever and the switching element, which, when the handle lever is switched from one switch position to the other, snaps over the dead center position.
The subject of the present invention is a switching mechanism for electrical toggle switches, which contains a toggle spring, with the characteristic that the handle lever is supported in the side tabs of the bearing plate and takes on the toggle spring in its interior. The latter couples a U-shaped, also in the side tabs of the bearing plate supported rocker switch with the handle lever.
The accompanying drawing shows schematically an embodiment of the invention. For the sake of clarity, only the parts necessary for understanding the invention are shown. Fig.1 shows a side view and Fig.2 shows a front view of individual switch parts. 3 and 4 show parts of FIG. 1 in side view and respectively. in cross section. Fig.5 is a plan view of Fig.1.
1 is the handle lever which has cams 2 on the side. By means of the latter, the handle lever 1 rolls when it is adjusted in bearing troughs 3 (FIG. 3), which are openings in the side tabs 4 of the bearing plate 5. 6 is the switch base on which the plate 5 is screwed. A U-shaped rocker switch 8, which is coupled to the handle lever 1 by a tension spring 9 and is held at its support points 7 by the spring balancer, is also supported at 7 in the bearing troughs 3 (FIG. 3) in the side tabs 4.
The spring 9 is arranged inside the handle lever 1, which is only half possible because there are no axes penetrating the handle lever (apart from those for the tension spring 9). The switching rocker 8 actuates the switching organ 10 indicated in Pig. 1 and 2 in a manner known per se.
The operation of such a scarf teis is easy to take ent from the figures due to the known Kippschal ter.
The cams 2 and the bearing troughs 3 are in the example shown so ge staltet that they form stops for the switch positions "ON" and "OFF". Instead, the cams 2 could, for example, also be round pins, the handle lever being held in the end positions by lugs 11 (indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 3) abutting the bearing plate 5.
Instead of the wart 12 (FIG. 4) seen on the rocker switch 8 for hanging the spring 9, for example, a wire bracket that would be attached to the rocker 8 could also be used.
