Description

  Abreissdose.

Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf die Dosen öffnung.

  Tear-off box.

The present invention relates to a tear-off box, the wall of which forms tear-off strips by longitudinal folding of the superimposed edges and by scoring in the circumferential direction, by tearing them off the body height from the can opening to the can bottom can be gradually reduced.

In the accompanying drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is shown, namely shows
Fig. 1 is a view of the can with partial tear-off of the top tear-off strip and
Fig. 2 is a plan view of the can opening.

In the case of the can wall 1, the longitudinal edges 2 and 3 thereof are not firmly folded, as was customary up to now, but rather they overlap and are folded together in a dovetail-like groove 4. The bottom 5 is flanged at the lower end of the wall and the can opening can be closed with a slip lid. The wall 1 has incisions 6 along its circumference, as a result of which tear-off strips 7 following one another are formed over its entire length. The outer longitudinal edge 3 of the wall 1 is formed up to just above the groove 4 by cutouts to form tabs 8, which are used to grip the tear-off strips. So that these tabs 8 do not protrude from the can, they are slightly caulked at 9 with the can wall 1.

In order to detach a tear-off strip, the flap 8 is loosened from the wall and torn off along the incision in the circumferential direction, the wall height of the can being reduced by the width of the torn-off strip.

After a strip has been torn off, the provided slip lid can be pushed over the can opening again.

This tear-off box is preferably suitable for packing items held in the shape of a bar, e.g. B. of ski wax, which can be poured into the can.

The box can of course be produced in a round, square or oval shape.
