Rotating and tilting work table for machine tool. The object of the present invention is a rotating and tilting work table for a machine tool. This work table is characterized by a first base intended to be fixed on the table of a machine tool, by a rotating plate mounted on this base, by a tilting base mounted on the rotating plate by means of two hinges and at least two rods joined end to end and articulated, on the one hand,
one on the turntable and the other under the tilting base and, on the other hand, at their junction point, by a device for adjusting the angle formed between the two links and by a plate rotating mounted on the tilting base.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the plate forming the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an elevational view thereof and FIG. 2 a plan view.
In the embodiment shown, the work table comprises a base 1 intended to be fixed on the table of a machine tool by four bolts engaging in the ears 2. On the upper face, this base has a circular T groove 3 and a tuck-in boss 4.
A. turntable 5 is mounted on the base by means of two bolts 6, the head of which can slide into the T 3 groove. On the underside, this plate has a centering boss 7 which engages in a recess .of this corresponding boss 4 of the base 1.
On the upper face, this plate carries a second tilting base 8 and fixed to the plate 5 by two hinges 9 and eight rods 10. The latter form two parallel lo- sions articulated by one of the tops 17 under the tilting base 8 , by the opposite side 18 on the turntable 5, and by the intermediate vertices on two nuts 11 threaded one on the left and the other on the right.
A screw 12, threaded in; one direction on one half, of its length and in the other on the other half and carrying a knurled head 13, engages in these nuts.
Finally, a turntable 14 is mounted on the tilting base 8 in the same way as the plate 5 on the base 1. This plate has on the upper face of the T grooves 15 arranged in parallel and allowing to fix the parts to be worked.
The parts fixed on the worktable can be brought into any desired position by rotating either the plate 14 or the turntable 5, and by adjusting the inclination of the base 8 by means of the screw 12, 13 .
It is also possible to provide a worm or other device controlling the rotational movement of the plate 5 or also of the plate 14.
A graduated sector 16 provided on the base 8 facilitates the adjustment of the inclination of the plate.
