Appareil de massage.
L'objet de la, présente invention est un appareiS de massage. (Det appareil est carac térisé par des liens flexibles se terminant par, deux poignées et par d, es axes montés transversalement entre ces liens et sur lesquels sont montés'des éléments rotatifs.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'appareil faisant l'objet de l'invention.
La fig. 1 en est une vue en élévation et la fig. 2 une vue do profil. Les fig. 3 et 4 montrent des variantes d'un détail.
La forme Id'exécution représentée com- prend deux poignées 1 reliées entre elles par deux liens flexibles 2. Ces'derniers sont cons- titués par un ressort chromé formant alternativement un court ressort 2a et une boucle 2b et se terminant à chaque extrémité par une barrette 3 articulée sur l'axe des poignées 1.
Les bo'uclos 2b portent des axes 4 en métal inoxydable sur chacun desquels peuvent tourner librement trois boules 5 en résine synthétique.
Le mode d'utilisation de cet appareil est le suivant :
Saisissant une poignée dans chaque main, on fait rouler les boules suivant un mouve- mentdeva-et-vient,surl'endroitducorps qui nécessite un massage, soit l'abdomen, en cas d'obésité, les jambes, en cas de varices, etc. Le roulement des boules exerce un massage efficace multiple sans fatiguer la peau, et l'action des ressorts sous la traction variable des. deux poignées augmente encore l'effet de massage en éloignant et rapprochant alternativement les boules. L'appareil peut êtref utilisé sous la douche, toutes ses' parties constituantes. étant inoxydables.
En variante, tout ou partie des boules pourront être remplacées par des rouleaux 6 et 6'présentant Ides gorges circulaires ou des eannelures, comme représenté en fig. 3 et 4, respectivement. Les cannelures pourraient aussi être hélicoïdales.
Enfin, les liens flexibles à ressort pour- ront être remplaces par des liens souples ou élastiques, en cuir, caoutchouc, corde, etc.

The embodiment shown comprises two handles 1 interconnected by two flexible links 2. These latter are constituted by a chrome spring alternately forming a short spring 2a and a loop 2b and terminating at each end with a bar 3 articulated on the axis of the handles 1.
The bo'uclos 2b carry axes 4 of stainless metal on each of which can freely rotate three balls 5 of synthetic resin.
The mode of use of this device is as follows:
Grasping a handle in each hand, the balls are rolled in a back and forth motion, on the part of the body which requires a massage, i.e. the abdomen, in case of obesity, the legs, in case of varicose veins, etc. . The rolling of the balls exerts a multiple effective massage without tiring the skin, and the action of the springs under the variable traction of the. two handles further increase the massage effect by alternately moving the balls away and closer together. The apparatus can be used in the shower, all its component parts. being stainless.
As a variant, all or part of the balls could be replaced by rollers 6 and 6 'presenting circular grooves or grooves, as shown in FIG. 3 and 4, respectively. The splines could also be helical.
Finally, the flexible spring links can be replaced by flexible or elastic links, in leather, rubber, rope, etc.
