Ball joint coupling for pipelines for irrigation and filling. The invention relates to a ball joint coupling for sprinkling and filling. as well as for purposes (gardening and agriculture, certain pipelines with expedient in a channel of one,
Partly arranged ball and thus. Against. axia les shifting secured sealing ring between the interlocking joint share of the two pipe ends; As a result of the above-mentioned securing of the sealing ring, the same can be prevented from falling out and damage to be attributed to it or loss of the same.
In the case of such an expansion, it is known to loosely arrange a one-piece coupling ring on the inner joint part which has claws for engaging counter claws of the outer joint part.
When Kup peln must therefore first be ensured that the claws of the coupling ring sat in an unobstructed path, so that the claws come into engagement with the mentioned opposing claws by turning the coupling ring; by means of stops provided on the latter, the angle of rotation of the coupling ring is limited and its respective direction of rotation is determined for the purpose of coupling or uncoupling. When laying pipes equipped with the necessary coupling parts, these are placed directly on the floor for the sake of simplicity.
Since the pipes rest on the floor by means of the couplings, there is a risk that the coupling ring will be rotated back in the sense of decoupling due to corresponding external influence.
This self-opening can be particularly easy when the coupling is wet, because then the friction between the inner joint part and the sealing ring is lower, so that when a pipe is coupled to a pipe that is already connected to the pipe, it is rotated when the already coupled pipe according to inhibition of the coupling ring is rotated with this.
The two pipes to be connected are to be able to bring the claws of the coupling ring into engagement with the counter claws by rotating it accordingly, from the ground; when the pipes coupled with one another are subsequently laid down, it can easily happen that the corresponding pressure exerted on the coupling ring from the ground or The torque caused by the coupling ring is turned back again and, as a result, the connection between the two. Pipes being lifted on. The same thing can happen. when the pipes have been temporarily lifted from the ground in order to change their mutual position.
In another embodiment, a toggle lever is arranged on a swivel ring at one end of the pipe and a swiveling counter plate is arranged diametrically opposite. When swiveling the clamping ring (around an axis that is transverse to the pipe), this counter-flap must rest on a fixed guide loop by its own weight in order to be able to move in the intended manner. The pipes must therefore be laid in such a way that the toggle lever is at the top and the counter bracket is at the bottom and is not prevented from moving.
So that the swiveling counter flap cannot come to the ground, a support frame is provided on each pipe, which is permanently fastened in order to avoid greater loss of time by attaching the support frames when laying the pipes. These: support frames on the pipes make it difficult to transport and lay the pipes and make this impossible under certain circumstances on uneven terrain. Furthermore, the joint parts, since they only have connection to each other at two relatively narrow points due to the toggle lever and the counter plate, are particularly strong.
The ball joint coupling according to the invention has to connect the two ball joint parts two one-end hinged clamping ring parts which encompass a circumferential flange of the outer ball joint part and can be rotated in the circumferential direction of the pipe as a result of a loose arrangement in the non-clamped state and attack by means of one at the other end of the clamping ring parts - fenden,
can be clamped transversely to the tube axis to be actuated lever device, whereby the tubes are coupled to one another in the axial direction on the ball joint parts. Said circumferential flange is expediently designed at the same time as a channel receiving the sealing ring.
By turning the clamping ring parts on site, if necessary, the lever clamping device can be rotated into the position that is favorable for manual operation. The pipes can be laid and coupled directly on the ground without the risk of self-loosening of the coupling.
The opening width of the clamping ring parts can be limited in such a way that the entire clamping device cannot be easily removed from the circumferential flange mentioned after opening, so that it cannot be lost.
The design is expedient so that when the lever clamping device is opened, the two clamping ring parts inevitably diverge.
In the drawing, a Ausführungsbei play the subject of the invention is illustrated.
Fig. 1 shows the clutch closed in section along the line I -I of Fig. 2, Fig. 2 is an end view, Fig. 3 is a top view, Fig. 4 shows an axial section in relation to Fig. 1 changed mutual Win angle position Pipes, FIG. 5 shows the coupling opened in section along the line VV in FIG. 6, and FIG. 6 is an end view of the clutch disengaged.
With 1 and 2 two tubes are referred to, respectively at the ends facing a fixed spherical part 3. have a fixed ball part 4. The spherical parts 3 and 4 are intended for mutual engagement of two tubes that are to be joined together and, in this respect, represent joint parts.
Between the inner and outer spherical part 3 respectively. 4 is the sealing ring 5 made of rubber and has a profiled cross-section; With a standing leg, the sealing ring 5 lies in a corresponding inner groove of a peripheral flange 6 provided on the free edge of the spherical part 4.
Over the circumferential flange 6 of the spherical part 4, with their adapted, channel-like cross-section, the two clamping ring parts 7 and 8, articulately connected to each other. are.
At the other end of the clamping ring part 7, the clamping lever 11 is mounted by means of a cross bolt 10, on which two lateral tabs 13 engage by a bolt 121, which are mounted by means of a bolt 14 on the second end of the clamping ring part 8.
The opening width of the clamping ring parts 7 and 8 is limited by the pair of tabs 1.3 in such a way that these parts and thus the entire clamping device cannot move away from the peripheral flange 6 of the outer ball-and-socket joint part 4 even when the coupling is not clamped.
The two S @ clamping ring parts 7 and 8 sit with their legs facing away from the ball part 4 on the ball part 3, on which they are thus supported. The flange of the clamping ring parts 7 and &, which is seated on the ball part 3, is beveled at both ends 15 and 1G, which means that even with a relatively short opening path of the clamping lever 11, the pipes with their joint parts 3 and 4 can be brought in and out is.
In Fig. 2 the lever clamping device formed by the lever 11 and the pair of tabs 13 is shown in the operative state. The lever 11 rests on the clamping ring part 7 and the connecting line of the centers of the bearing pins 12 and 14 of the plate pair 13 is below the center of the bearing pin 10 of the clamping lever 111., whereby the lever clamping device is self-locking; Since the tensioning lever 11 is self-locking and does not offer any attack part that is advantageous for any external pressure effects, there is a correspondingly high level of security against unintentional opening of the lever tensioning device.
To open the lever clamping device, the lever 11 is pivoted out of the closed position in Pig. 2 into the open position according to FIG. 6, the two .Spannring- parts 7 and 8 inevitably being moved apart and thus brought into non-tensioned duality.
The clamping ring parts 7 and 8 then lie loosely on the pipes 1 and 2 and can therefore be rotated in the direction of the pipe circumference. Furthermore, in the non-tensioned state of the, clamping ring parts 7 and 8 which in the tubes 1 and 2 for decoupling vonein- taken on or. be plugged into each other for coupling.
The two tubes 1 and 2 can be coupled to each other in any angular position, for example according to angle a in FIG. 4. By subsequently folding back the lever 11 into the closed position, the two clamping ring parts 7 and 8 are moved against one another and thereby the two spherical parts 3 and 4 and thus the tubes 1 and 2 are coupled to one another.
If, during coupling, the coupled pipe rotates as a result of the inhibition of the coupling ring formed by the clamping ring parts, the already coupled Mohr can no longer disengage from its coupling connection. Even if the coupled pipes are lifted from the ground, for example to change direction, there is no risk of the coupling coming loose when the pipe is laid down on the ground again.
Instead of being profiled, the sealing ring could also have a round cross-section. The lever clamping device, which is self-locking in the active state, can of course also be designed differently than shown.
