Lufterhitzer.
Air heater. The invention relates to an air heater, in which air required in a consumer hot sser air as well as serving as a propellant for a thermal power plant, in this at least for the most part air describing a circuit is to be heated. Blast furnaces, for example, come into consideration as consumers of hot air.
The air flowing back into the air heater in a thermal power plant of the type mentioned usually still has a temperature of 300 to 400 C. In order to be able to further utilize the heat still contained in the exhaust gases from the air heater, preheaters are usually provided for the combustion air required in the air heater. Nevertheless, especially with fuels with a low calorific value, the exhaust gas temperature is often still undesirably high.
In order to obtain both low exhaust temperatures and a high degree of efficiency of the entire air heater in an air heater of the type mentioned above, according to the invention, the consumption air is heated in a heating system that is at least partly in an area with a lower flue gas temperature than that Heating system for heating the air flowing through the circuit of the thermal power plant.
The heating system for the consumption air can expediently be divided into two groups connected in series, one of which is arranged in the area of the lowest and the other in the area of the highest flue gas temperatures, and the heating system for heating the thermal power system The air passing through can then be switched between those two groups.
In the drawing, for example, embodiments of air heaters with the features according to the invention are illustrated in a simplified representation, namely shows:.
Fig. 1 shows an air heater with a heating system divided into two groups for heating blast furnace air and a heating system arranged between these two groups for the propellant air of a heat power plant and Fig. 2 shows an air heater with a heating system divided into two groups for heating blast furnace air and two between these groups arranged groups of a heating system for the propellant air of a thermal power plant.
In Fig. 1, 1 denotes a blast furnace and 9. a thermal power plant which is operated with hot air describing a cycle. The thermal power plant has a turbine 2 to which hot air flows from a heating system 3. The latter forms part of an air heater B, which has a further heating system divided into two groups 4 and 5. The heating system 3 is, viewed in the direction of the heater B flowing through the heating gases, arranged between the groups 4 and 5 of the other heating system connected in series.
The groups 4 and 5 serve to heat the air required in the blast furnace 1, which is sucked in by a fan 6 and conveyed into the group 4, 5.
The released air flowing out of the turbine 2 arrives one after the other in a heat exchanger 7, then in a precooler 8 and then in a compressor 9 driven by the turbine 2 with two intermediate coolers 10 and 11, where it increases again to higher levels Pressure is brought. This part of the higher pressure air flows through the heat exchanger 7, where the relaxed part of the air coming from the turbine 2 gives off heat. The air part brought back to a higher temperature in this way finally flows through the heating system 3, where it is brought to the temperature provided for the turbine 2 A.
For the sake of completeness, it should also be mentioned that 11 denotes a generator designed as a generator and driven by the turbine 2, and 12 denotes a motor that receives electricity from the generator 11 and drives the fan 6.
The air heater B described thus serves both to heat the hot air required in the blast furnace 11 and to heat the air describing the circuit of the thermal power plant. In the part of the air heater B, in which the lowest flue gas temperature prevails, the group 4 of the heating system is arranged, in which the coming from the fan 6 and the high. Oven 1 to be supplied air is heated to a certain amount.
In the middle heating system 3, the air for the turbine 2 is heated, and in group 5 with the highest ranch gas temperatures, the blast furnace air is brought to the final temperature. The arrangement of the heating system 3 between groups 4 and 5 of the other heating system results in the advantage that, firstly, the smoke gases can be largely cooled and, secondly, there is only a relatively low internal pressure in group 5 with the highest flue gas temperatures,
since the air required for the blast furnace 1 is known to be at most brought to a few atmospheres, so that in group 5 high wall temperatures corresponding to the low internal pressure can be admitted.
Instead of providing a special motor for the blast furnace fan 6, it can also be driven directly by the turbine 2, or a drive device that is completely independent of the thermal power plant, for example a steam engine, can be provided.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 2 differs from the one described only in that the heating system for the air, which describes the circuit of the @Värmekraffanhlbe, consists of two groups 13 and 14.
These two groups 13 and 14, viewed in the direction of flow of the flue gases flowing through the air heater C, are also connected between the two groups 15 and 16 of the other heating system in which the a Lei device 17 inflowing and flowing through a line 18 blast furnace air is brought to the neces sary final temperature.
The two groups 13 and 14 are connected in parallel with regard to the air to be heated therein. But they can also be connected in series.
The heating system for the air of the thermal power plant can also consist of more than two groups, all of which can be connected in parallel or in series, or partly in parallel and partly in series. Each group of the heating system for the furnace air can consist of several tube bundles; The tube bundles of each group can be connected in parallel or in series or partly in parallel and partly in series.
The air to be consumed can be heated entirely in a single group of tubes. This heating system is then to be relocated to an area with lower flue gas temperatures than the stimulus system for heating the air flowing through the circuit of the thermal power plant.
The heat transfer in the Reizsyste men respectively. Groups of heating systems can follow in countercurrent or cocurrent or partly in countercurrent and partly in cocurrent. The heat is expediently transferred in the area of the highest flue gas temperature in cocurrent and in the area of the lowest flue gas temperature in the countercurrent.
The invention can be applied both to heaters that operate with coal dust and those that operate with liquid or solid fuels. For the application of the invention, it also does not matter whether the propellant of the thermal power plant is completely or only at least for the most part a circuit.
