Yentilationseinriehtung an Schrägdächern.
Yentilation device on pitched roofs. Subject: The present invention is a ventilation device on sloping roofs, which is characterized by a sloping, inserted into a roof opening, at its lower end.
the roof surface overlapping and at its upper end under this cross frame structure with side guides into which a cover plate is inserted, the whole of the kind that at the lower and the upper end of the frame structure between the cover plate and the roof surface to enable air circulation Louvre is left free.
On the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated.
Fig. 1 is a cross section through a tile pitched roof with built-in Ventilationsein direction, and Fig. 2 is a section along the line I-I in Fig. 1, but on a larger scale. The tile roof according to the drawing has an opening in which a sheet metal frame structure is inserted into a sloping arrangement.
This frame structure overlaps at its lower end the roof surface formed by .den bricks, while it reaches its upper end under the latter. The securing of the frame structure a in its working position is accomplished in that a downwardly directed part, which is provided on the upper transverse web of the frame ca, rests against a roof batten b.
The frame structure is therefore attached to a roof batten, similar to the brick. In, the side legs of the frame structure a Füh ments a 'are provided, in the menende from the upper frame ago a z. B. made of raw glass cover plate c is inserted.
The lower transverse leg d, of the frame structure has a; upwardly bent fold dl, between which and .der glass plate c the outlet of an air slot located under the lower end of the glass plate is left free.
An air slot is also formed at the upper end of the frame structure, due to the fact that a transverse plate e is attached to the frame body, engaging under the row of tiles adjoining the roof opening at the top, which is a small distance from the glass plate c above the same.
In this way, an air slot is present at the top and bottom of the frame structure between the glass plate and the roof surface, where air circulation in the sense of the arrows indicated in FIG. 1 is made possible. This air circulation allows constant ventilation of the space under the roof, which in turn contributes to the health of the roof beams and the battens.
The Ventilationseinrich device described above can be used on pitched roofs of all kinds, such. B. also on slate, sheet metal, roofing felt roofs, etc. Advantageously, the device is assigned to closure parts, which can be inserted into the air slots mentioned in order to be able to shut them off if necessary.
