Schmiermittelpresse finit Druckhebel.
Ein vorderer Fortsatz dieses Schaf tes ragt aus der Wandung der Verlängerung 11 des Stutzens 10 heraus und ermöglicht von aussen her das Öffnen des Ventils 15, in dem man es mittels eines Fingers entgegen dem Einfluss einer Druckfeder 17 vom Ven tilsitz abhebt, wodurch Luft aus dem Förder kanal 6 abgelassen werden kann, da die lichte Weite des Entlüftungskanals 14 grösser ist als der Durchmesser des Schaftes des Ventils 15;
Lubricant press finite pressure lever. The invention relates to a lubricant press with a pressure lever for conveying the lubricant coming from a storage container through a conveying channel. When using this press, lubricant is fed through the feed channel, which is expediently partially formed by a metal hose or an articulated pipe, to the consumption points using the pressure lever. B.
Bearings on locomotives, railroad cars, other vehicles, etc. can be.
According to the invention, a venting channel directed transversely to the conveying channel is provided, to which a valve, normally held in the closed position as a result of the action of force, is assigned, which can be opened for the purpose of releasing air from the conveying channel by pressing a shaft in front of the channel wall.
This allows in a relatively simple manner the discharge of air coming with the lubricant from .dem reservoir into the delivery channel, which came into the delivery channel when the reservoir was filled with lubricant and consequently lead to the interruption of the delivery of the lubricant in the delivery channel can if there is no possibility of drainage.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in the drawing.
Fig. 1 shows the press in view, Fig. 2, on a larger scale, a part of the same with a section, FIG. 1 and a section along the line III-III in FIG. 2, and FIG. 4 a section along the line IV-IV in FIG.
It denotes 1 the cylindrical before storage container for the lubricant, which preferably consists of fat, but can also be oil. In a known manner, a spring-loaded disc piston is provided in Vorratsbe container 1, which is connected by a chain to an outer Anfassglie.d 2, which the bottom of the container 1 serves as a stop. By means of the gripping member 2, the said piston can be withdrawn against its spring loading in the container 1 when this lubricant is to be refilled; by means of the chain, the piston can be secured in the retracted position at the bottom of Behäl age 1.
The refilling of the lubricant is mostly done by hand, for which purpose the container 1 is to be separated from the cover 3 screwed to it. Lubricating grease Aiird is then poured into the container 1 spoon by spoon using a trowel, which naturally cannot prevent air cushions from forming in the grease supply; This air can subsequently lead to disturbances in the delivery of the lubricating grease, which is why it is ensured that it can be drained in the delivery channel. After the container 1 has been filled with grease, you are mentioned disc piston like the free, whereupon this the container contents against: the. Lid 3 presses.
This has a central opening 4 to a connecting channel 5 lying flat in the cover, to which the conveying channel 6 connects. In the connection channel 5 there is a dew piston 7 which is articulated outside the cover 3 to the pressure lever 8 which is movably connected to the cover 3 by means of a link 9. By moving the pressure lever 8 accordingly, the plunger 7 can be moved back and forth in the connecting channel 5, where it continues to convey lubricating grease pressed through the disc piston of the container 1 from the opening 4 into the channel 5 when going back and forth by pressing it into the conveying channel 6.
This conveying channel 6 begins in a connection piece 10 which is present on the cover 3 and to which an extension 11 and, via an intermediate piece 12, a pipe section 13 are screwed. This pipe section 13 has a ball head at the end, not shown, which forms part of a universal joint, from which a second pipe section extends, which can again be designed as a ball head of a joint, etc. It is @so an articulated pipe line made; Instead of this, a metal hose that is dusted onto it can come from the intermediate piece 12.
By means of the pressure lever 8, the lubricating grease is pressed through the delivery channel 6 to the lubrication point, which has a nipple or the like that serves to receive it.
In the extension 11 of the nozzle 10 i, the transverse Ent ventilation duct 14 st to the conveying duct 6 is provided, in which a poppet valve 15 is arranged. The Rückwär term shaft of this valve 15 is taken up by the central bore of a screw 16.
A front extension of this Schaf tes protrudes from the wall of the extension 11 of the nozzle 10 and allows the valve 15 to be opened from the outside by lifting it from the valve seat by means of a finger against the influence of a compression spring 17, causing air to escape from the valve seat Conveying channel 6 can be drained, since the inside diameter of the ventilation channel 14 is greater than the diameter of the shaft of the valve 15;
if the valve 15 is released again, the spring 17 automatically moves it back into the closed position. A sealing ring 18 pushed onto the valve stem rests on the plate of the valve 15 and tightly seals the transition point between an enlarged and a narrowed part of the ventilation duct 14 in the closed position of the valve.
In the extension 11 of the connecting piece 10 there is also a valve ball 19 (FIG. 3) which is normally pressed onto its seat by a conical spring 20, whereby it closes the conveying channel 6; the conical spring 20 is. supported on an annular disk 21 screwed into the thread of the conveying channel 6. When lubricating grease is pressed into the feed channel 6 by means of the pressure lever 8 through the plunger piston 7, the pressure generated in this way in the feed channel 6 lifts the valve ball 19 from its seat, before the lubricant grease in the channel 6 Valve ball 19 is passed on.
Instead of by hand, the lubricant can also be filled into the container 1 in another way. For this purpose, a connecting piece 22 is provided on the container cover 3, in the passage channel of which a valve ball 23 (FIG. 4) is arranged, which is normally pressed onto its seat by a helical spring 24.
The connector 22 is conically tapered on the outside at the free end, so that it can be attached directly to a corresponding mouth of a filling device in order to fill this lubricant under pressure through the connector 22 into the container 1; As a result of the pressure effect, the valve ball 24 is then lifted from its seat, whereupon the lubricant can pass it into the container 1.
In the example described, both the design and the operation of the valve associated with the ventilation duct are particularly simple.
