Verstelluftschraube.
Adjustment screw. The invention relates to a Verstelluft screw in which the adjustment of the blades via an axially movable sliding sleeve he follows, which is driven by a certain drive means via a rotatable, but immovable connected to her ring and an articulated yoke-like lever of an aircraft fixed to close. The essence consists in.: The combination of the following known characteristics:
a) between the sliding sleeve and the aircraft-mounted connection of the Verstellantrie bes at least one link is provided, which light allows a cardanic movement; b) the sliding sleeve is in; its displacement movement is guided by rods rigidly connected to it, which in turn can be displaced in the propeller hub.
An electric motor, a hydraulic motor or a manual gearbox can be selected as the drive means for the adjustment drive. The axially displaceable sliding sleeve can sit on the propeller shaft or hub.
The invention is based on the knowledge that the possibility of adjusting the sliding sleeve to the other elements of the adjustment drive, which is given by engaging a link for a cardanic movement, only works as an improvement when the sliding sleeve is safely guided in its axial displacement movement .
On the other hand, the improved guidance of the sliding sleeve only has a full effect when all such forces are kept away from the sleeve by the cardanic movement enabling member, which, from inaccurate assembly or in particular from changes in shape in the company, the exact guidance of the Disturb the socket. Improving the gear guide of the sleeve by making it longer is practically impossible because this would require an increase in the distance between the plane of the air screw and the foremost bearing point of the motor or transmission.
This increase would lead to a significant increase in the risk of vibration and the stress on all parts.
Advantageously, the guide rods of the sliding sleeve are all designed racks and are in engagement with gears that are net angeord on the shafts of the screw blades.
It can be seen ver the sliding surfaces of the sleeve, the guide rods or the cooperating parts with a synthetic material with good sliding properties, which reduces the stress ver and increases the service life.
The drawing illustrates an advantageous embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, partly in: side view, partly in section.
1 is the motor respectively. Gear shaft to which the propeller hub is connected by means of flange 2; this in turn consists of two parts 3 and 4. Part 3 is the sliding track for the sliding sleeve 5 and is connected to part 4, the actual propeller hub, by spur teeth and the sleeve 6 located inside the hub. This division has the purpose. The sliding sleeve 5 and the associated ball bearing 7 run unge divides; to be able to.
The sliding sleeve 5 is rigidly connected to two rods 8 which are axially displaceable in guides of the front hub part 4, namely the upper of the two rods 8 in front, the lower behind the sectional plane shown. With this guide, a large guide length is achieved with a short length of the actual sliding sleeve.
The two rods 8 are designed as toothed racks and engage with their toothing in gears 9. The shafts 10 of the screw blades 11, which are mounted by means of ball bearings 12 in the front hub part.
The sliding sleeve is displaced, for example, by a hydraulic drive cylinder 15 which is suspended pivotably about the axis 16 fixed to the aircraft and whose piston rod is connected to the pivotable yoke-like adjusting lever 18 by a ball joint 17. On his. At the upper end, the adjusting lever 18 is connected by the ball joint 19 to a link 20 which, in turn, can be pivoted about the axis 21 fixed to the aircraft.
The adjusting lever encompasses the sliding sleeve 5 respectively like a yoke. the outer ring 22 of the ball bearing 7 arranged on the sliding sleeve 5 and is connected to the outer ring 22 so as to be pivotable about the axis 23.
Instead of using the ball joints 17 and! 19 on the yoke-like adjusting lever, it is possible to achieve the cardanic mobility of the sliding sleeve with respect to the rest of the adjustment drive in another way. Thus, the connection of the sliding sleeve, namely its non-rotating outer ring, with the yoke-like adjusting lever can be gimbaled, and joints can be provided at the connection points of the adjusting lever for movement around only one axis. The outer ring of the sliding sleeve can also be mounted spherically.
Furthermore, it is possible to arrange cardan joints or pendulum ball bearings at the connection points of the adjusting lever 18 instead of the ball joints.
Instead of the one drive means illustrated in the drawing, namely the hydraulic cylinder 15, a special drive means can also act on each connection point of the adjusting lever 18. For example, on the upper connection point a; Electric motor act via a screw spindle gear. It is also possible to provide a manual transmission in addition to a motor. You can determine a drive means for normal operation and also provide an auxiliary drive means that comes into action when the first drive means fails.
Two drive means with different adjustment ranges or speeds can also be arranged.
The sliding sleeve 5 as well as the guide rods 8 can be equipped with a plastic coating which has good sliding properties. It is also possible to provide this plastic coating instead of the sliding sleeve and the guide rods on the sliding surfaces of the associated parts.
