Schmelzsicherungseinrichtung.
Fuse device. The fuse devices that have been on the market to date all have the disadvantage that their fuse cartridges, plugs, etc. can very easily be bridged or replaced by other conductive objects.
Such imperfect safety devices represent a high risk of danger, as they cause many house fires and accidents every year that even kill people. In the "Technischen Rundschau" of October 2, 1942 under the article "Electric current as arsonist" these imperfect safety systems are explained in a clear manner.
The fuse device formed according to the present invention does not have these disadvantages. It is characterized in that it has a screw plug that can be screwed into a securing element, and that the screw-in thread is arranged as a foot contact and that the second contact is designed as a ring arranged on the head of the plug, further characterized in that between head and foot contact a resilient organ surrounding the screwed-in plug is provided in the element, the purpose of which is
For bridging purposes, any improperly introduced conductive bodies, such as tinfoil or thin wires, should be torn when the stopper is inserted.
The accompanying drawing represents an exemplary embodiment of the subject of the invention.
Figure A is a longitudinal section through the plug; Fig. B is a section through the hedging element; Fig. C is a view of the resilient wiper member.
The screw-in thread 8 is arranged on the foot contact of the screw plug. The second contact 4 is designed as a ring arranged on the head of the plug. 1 is a shop window made of glass or the like to see whether @dw fuse cover 2 has been triggered. In channel 5: the fusible conductor is drawn, which leads to the second contact 4 via channel 3. Cams 6 are attached to the neck of the vise. which protrude in such a way that they only fit with little play in the cylindrical recess 19 of the element insulating body, for the purpose of pushing away improperly introduced wires or stan niol when screwing in the plug.
The part 7 forms the transition from the neck 6 to the foot contact 8, which is cemented in here.
In Fig. B. The securing element with element cover is also shown in section. This cover 9 is according to the regulations of the SEV. made of ceramic material. It has a circular opening 14 at the top through which the fuse plug in the actual fuse element 11 is screwed. This hedging element 11 is made from one piece of ceramic material with the exception of the metal parts. 10 forms the fixed mating contact to the second contact 4 of the plug. This contact is bow-shaped and has a connection screw 15.
In the circular section of this contact 10 triangular notches 21 are filed, the corresponding surfaces of the cam 6 of the fuse plug, whereby any tinfoil or wire wrapped around the plug ge when a screw is stripped into the fuse element.
The other fixed contact is formed by a part 13 which has a nut thread 16 (for receiving the plug thread 8) and a connection screw 17.
In the securing element 11 is a spring of the, the stopper enclosing organ 12, which is intended for bridging purposes, any and improperly introduced conductive bodies, such as tinfoil or thin wires, to tear or strip when inserting the stopper.
The resilient member 12 is pushed into a recess 18 from the side of the element base 11 and secured against falling out with a screw 20. The nut thread is cut into the foot contact 13, into which the screw stopper or its foot contact 8 is screwed.
This foot contact thread is a well-fitting pointed thread (fitting thread, e @). With the small play of the fitting thread 8/16, it is therefore impossible to insert, for example, a tinfoil strip or wire between nut 16 and bolt thread 8, nor is it possible to successfully insert a cork pin with tinfoil coating or the like introduce into the element.
because the tinfoil would be torn by the spring ring 12.
