Gas turbine system in which at least part of the working fluid performs a cycle. The invention relates to a gas turbine system in which at least part of the working fluid leads from a cycle and is expanded within this cycle after compression in at least two turbines connected one behind the other, one of which drives the cycle compressor and another drives the power machine.
If the power control in the system described is achieved by adjusting the amount of working fluid in the circuit according to the load, a bypass valve must be arranged in addition to a throttle valve in front of the power turbine in order to ensure a sufficiently rapid adjustment when the load decreases. In the event of a rapid decrease in load, namely the cross section of the throttle valve is to be reduced ver and at the same time the bypass valve is to be opened accordingly.
The working medium flowing through the bypass valve does no work, does not cool down and therefore reaches the exhaust pipe at the high temperature prevailing in front of the turbine. Even in the case of an unusually large dimensioning of the throttle valve connected upstream of the power turbine, sensitive throttle losses occur even in the fully open state. In addition, there is inadmissible heating of such components, for example the pipe system, from heat exchangers - which are operationally only suitable for lower temperatures.
Finally, if a cooler is arranged in the bypass line, disturbances can easily arise because the cooling pipes are suddenly exposed to the very high working medium temperature when the bypass valve is opened quickly.
The disadvantages described can be avoided if, according to the invention, not only the power turbine but also the turbine driving the compressor of the circuit is equipped with a bypass line. The system can then be easily regulated without a throttle valve in front of the power turbine by adjusting the pressure level in the circuit accordingly by changing the compressor operation.
It is recommended that at least the bypass line that drives the compressor be removed from the system. This saves a cooler.
The control organs in the two bypass lines are expediently set by the same control pulse, for example as a function of the speed of the turbine delivering the useful power. It is advisable to let the working fluid act on the turbine driving the compressor before the power turbine.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing, which represents an embodiment.
From the low-pressure compressor 1, the working medium passed through the intercooler 2 into the high-pressure compressor 3. In a heat exchanger 4 that acts as a recuperator, the compressed working medium is first preheated and then further heated in the gas heater 5.
The compressed and heated working fluid first enters the high-pressure turbine 6 and from there, after partial expansion and cooling, into the low-pressure turbine 7. Then the working fluid flows through the recuperator 4, in which it condenses part of its residual heat to the Work equipment transfers. A further part of the residual heat is withdrawn from the working medium by a coolant in the cooler 8 and finally it is returned to the low-pressure compressor 1, where it starts the cycle described again.
The high-pressure turbine 6 is used to drive the two compressors 1 and 3. An excess of power can be absorbed by the electric machine 10, which acts as a generator. The machine 10 can also be used as an engine. for example when the An is put into operation The low pressure turbine 7 is used to drive the power generator 9, whose electrical energy is passed on as useful power energy.
To replace the working medium losses in the circuit and to change the pressure level in the circuit, a compressor 11 is provided. the, by the engine 12 on - e-h-live. Introduces air into the system.
Both the power turbine 7 and the high-pressure turbine 6 driving the compressors 1 and 3 each have a circulation line 13 or 14, both of which open into a line 1 5 that continues the working medium from the system.
The rule or @ ane 16 and 17 in the lines 13 respectively. 1.1 are set in two ways by the same 1; control pulse, for example by a speed controller of the power turbine 7.
