Wrist watch with silent alarm. The invention relates to a wristwatch with a silent alarm device. According to the invention, the watch has a vibrating part which is set in vibrations at the wake-up time and exerts a stimulus directly on the arm of the wearer of the watch.
The drive and the setting of this alarm device can be constructed in a known manner.
Three embodiments of the invention are shown in the accompanying drawings, and they show: Fig. 1 the housing of a wristwatch with the alarm device in section and on an enlarged scale, Fig. 2 and 3 each a cross section through a different embodiment .der Weckeinrich device, greatly enlarged, FIG. 4 shows a detail of the alarm device, greatly enlarged.
In Fig. 1 mean: a an outwardly and inwardly protruding projection on the housing bottom, b a thinned point of the housing bottom around the projection through which the projection a springs, c a wheel, which is around or with its axis d rotates, e elevations on the wheel c, which hit the inner projection a when it rotates, thereby causing it to vibrate.
The outer projection a transmits a stimulus to the arm of the wearer, the watch, where it is awakened or reminded of a point in time. It eats important
that this embodiment of the subject matter of the invention does not require any additional openings in the watch case and as a result, the risk of harmful bodies or substances entering the watch movement is not increased compared to a normal watch.
In: Fig. 2 is in place of: Projection s. .A bolt f is provided which is attached to a spring g and protrudes outwards through a precisely fitting opening in the watch case. The wheel c is located under the spring g and causes it to vibrate as it rotates, in that its elevations e meet the elevation i of the spring g.
The vibrations of the spring are transmitted to the bolt f, which exerts a stimulus on the wearer of the watch. The deflection of the spring g in one direction can be regulated by an adjusting screw la.
The arrangement according to FIG. 3 differs from that according to FIG. 2 only in that the wheel c is arranged above the bolt k. During rotation, the projections e of the wheel c strike the head i of the bolt 1c directly and thus generate the vibration of the bolt k.
In Fig. 4, the wheel c is shown alone. The drive can take place from the wheel axle l, which then, as shown, does not have a round cross-section. It is of course also possible to let the drive act on the wheel itself by running it, for example, as a gear, as indicated by o. The elevations of the wheel are also designated with e.
